I love the wide width. Merrell brand is a very comfortable brand of shoe to wear with adequate padding for sore feet. I am a nurse and am on my feet 10-12 hours a day and can wear these shoes comfortably. I had to exchange this shoe for a smaller size because my original Breeze shoe was a medium width. Thank goodness Zappos carries wide widths not found in stores and can now find the correct size and width in a shoe.

The sizing on these shoes has changed. I have bought many pairs over the years. I ordered a half size larger after returning the size I have always worn. I must return them also.

I already had worn and loved Merrell's Breeze 2 but that style wasn't available, so I bought the Breeze3...Breeze 3 looks just like Breeze 2, but it is a much stiffer shoe...and I had to break it in over the course of a month. While is it comfortable, it isn't as comfortable as the Breeze 2 which was great the moment I put it on.

I've walked 10 miles in this shoe so far and they're great. Very comfortable. The only down side is that I can't wear my orthotics with them. The arch support already available in the shoe made my orthotics very painful.

I wear a 10.5 or an 11, depending on the shoe. The 11 is a perfect fit. The shoe looks nice and sleek in person, and it's instantly comfortable. I have back issues and ordered two pair of Merrells because all I've been wearing is my one pair from several years ago. The stability and cushion are outstanding, far better than other "healthy" shoe brands I've tried, and they are younger and more fun-looking, for jeans, crops, and pants.

Comfortable, supportive, and long-lasting-holds up well inside and outside. Black color is stunning and cocoa brown is lovely. Wear all day and feet feel comfy.

These are the best casual shoes ever. Supportive but lightweight. Comfortable even when standing for long periods. All the good qualities of clogs and none of the bad ones. The rubber soles make them quiet and pleasant to walk in. And they even look kind of cool.

I love these shoes, I an interior designer and I work on new construction. I can put them in the washer and they look new!

I bought these because I was having hip replacement surgery and needed shoes that were easy to slip on and were also non-skid. These took care of that. This year I had surgery on a couple of toes. When I finally got out of the surgical shoe, I found these were the only shoes I had with a toe box roomy enough that didn’t rub on the top of my toes. They’re also pretty stiff so I felt like my foot was protected. They aren’t the cutest shoes I own but they have been good for my post-surgical needs. In fact, since my first pair are the silver color, I’m buying a second pair in black.

I love these - very comfortable and versatile. Also easy care. I hope the mesh tops wears as well as the leather but that will take time to find out!

I had the Merrell Encore Breeze a number of years ago. It was my go to knock around town/walk the dog shoe. Loved it. I read all the reviews on this 3rd edition. As mentioned by another reviewer, it does come up significantly higher on the foot than the model I had. The heel is also shallower, as also noted. When I put the 1st shoe on, I had a little trouble getting my foot in. I have a calcium deposit on the top of both feet from years of wearing clogs. That bump made it more difficult to get the shoe on. At first I thought I was definitely returning them. But then I decided to try walking around the house. Bottomline...I am keeping them. I think they run 1/2 size small. I normally take a 9. In this shoe I took an 8 1/2. Once I figured out I could slide my foot in sideways for an easier entry, the shoes felt fine. The top of the shoe hits above the calcium deposit. I have high arches and the arch support was very good. I was on my feet for a while...very comfortable. I need a wide toe box. This shoe had decent room for my toes. The heel does come out a bit due to the shallower heel shape. Doesn't bother me. I have achilles tendonitis, so the lower the back of the shoe, the better for me. I like the minimalist styling...very clean looking. Flattering on the foot. Not at all like a clunky clog. Great, lighter weight too with the mesh uppers.

I love these shoes! Great color..always loved Merrell shoes! However, these are just too big..all over. Like they were old, and had already stretched out...I know if I try to walk too fast, they'll fly off my feet! It has a really nice wide toe bed, which I need.. I am definitely going to try one half size smaller...still LOVE the shoe!!

I love these and have been wearing these shoes, or earlier versions, for several summers. I use my orthotics with them, so I can't really comment on arch support, but they work well with the orthotics. However, this year they are running a HALF SIZE LARGER than the exact same shoe last year.

The sole of these shoes is incredibly comfortable! My only problem is that there is no give in the top of the shoe. I have a high arch and a wide foot. The upper cuts into the top of my foot. Any elescticity would help.
