Loved this item (and am still wearing it) when I purchased the first model many years ago. But the redesign changed the location of the strap on the instep and it no longer fits my toe comfortably. So sad! This was my go-to summer sandal and I now need to return both pairs I purchased in the new colors. Totally disappointed with this (to my mind) unnecessary change in the shoe.

I really love the shape of all of these Merrell sandals, but with the change in the footbed last year I have a MAJOR complaint. They absorb foot odor and after wearing them for awhile they smell like feet! My old Merrells with the rubber footbed never smelled and I wore them for a few years! This is too bad. Such a great shoe but you can't wear them for more than one summer before they start smelling bad. I don't have this problem with my other shoes.

I buy Merrell shoes all the time, but this was the first style that didn't work out. I bought the shoes right before a trip and the first day of wearing them, I got several blisters and scars from all the straps. It was terrible and disappointing.

Ordered three other sandals in size 8 which fit fine. This was at least one whole size small. Width was okay, not sure about arch support since the size was so far off.
