What a find! A great no nonsense, USA made product, Totally American. Quality with comfort. Does what is needed, being on active footing eight hours plus a day. An investment for work and stylish for "kicking around" afterwards. Great service from Zappos!

An amazingly retro-cool-beautiful, stylish, and comfortable boot, made in Wisconsin. Yeah, Wisconsin. Love these boots.

The fit is spot on when going down a full size from my Brannock size. Brannock is an 11D and Thorogood boots I wear 10D. The only reason for the return on this pair is there was a little too much leather in the gusseting of the tongue on the left boot. I plan to do an exchange until I find a good fit. Thorogood boots can tend to be hit or miss but once you find the right pair they are amazingly comfortable and can handle hard work.

This is an early review. Got a pair of 9.5, that’s my size, and they were a touch too big. DOWNSIZE 1/2 SIZE. Do yourself that favor. Even though they were big they were definitely comfortable and felt like slippers on concrete. They also look amazing, very sharp looking. I had to exchange them and Zappos went above and beyond per usual. I won’t by footwear anywhere else but Zappos. Once I get some real world, long term use I’ll update this review if need be. First, out of the box impression, I’m impressed.

Ordered these boots a half size down due to all the recommendations, but when I received the boots, I felt they were much too snug. These boots fit true to size so order your actual size except order in wide because this is a very narrow boot. I was surprised by how narrow they are, and I saw very little mention of this in reviews.

I bought these boots for my husband. They take several wears to break in, but seem to be very comfortable for him.

I took off 1star due to the top eyelet.Why have speed hooks then have to stop at the top to Feed lace through hole.? Doing this you lose tightness and have to relace around hook againI have a narrow foot and wear double socks with an orthotic and the med width fits good.I would say they fit narrow.

Great looking boots but be advised leather can look different on each boot due to skin variations. Runs true to size. What you see is what you get. Good!

Good quality

Really soft leather that needs minimal breakin time and sole is super comfy. However I had same issue with some reviews here as well. The parts where material meet near lowest laceloop has a hard bump that presses against my big toe knuckle. It's pretty unbearable even with thick socks. I had to return them unfortunately.

Very nice boot, pretty comfortable once you get the sizing right, but man, it took me so long to find a pair that felt right. I was sent a total of 4 pairs before they finally felt good. The sizing of this brand is VERY inconsistent and inaccurate. First pair I ordered was in 9.5 D width (medium) based on the recommendations of many people that I should order half a size down from my true shoe size. So I did just that and they were just waaay too tight. So I sent them back, and I ordered a size 10 - my true shoe size - but now they were just way too big! So I sent those back and tried to order a size 9.5 again, but this time in width EE (wide), but Zappos had run out of that particular configuration, so I had to wait for them to restock. I waited for a month and they still had not restocked so in frustration, I just ordered a size 9.5 D width again just to see what happens, and lo and behold, they fit perfect this time! I was excited to finally get a comfortable boot when I noticed that one of the boots felt really weird. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the right boot was in fact defective. The upper (leather part of the boot) was sown off-center to the outsole (bottom base of the boot), so that half of my foot hung off the edge of wedge outsole and caused pain. I was incredibly disappointed and contacted Zappos yet again, and they immediately sent me a replacement pair. FINALLY with the replacement pair, they got the sizing right and there were no obvious defects, BUT THIS TIME THE BOOT WAS DIFFERENT! Even though the configuration was the same - same size, same width, same color - you could tell that the boot was just different looking. The color was more vibrant and the general shape of the boot was just different and didn't look as good, so again, I inspect the boot and noticed that the tag was also different from the previous pair I got. I don't know if Thorogood has multiple locations making their boots, or if I somehow got a knockoff boot, but at that point I had enough and just gave up. I won't be sending these weird looking boots back. I'll just give them away to someone. Extremely annoyed and disappointed with Thorogood. Zappos was great though. They were very helpful and accommodating every time I contacted them.

Weird construction with bad pressure point. My left foot is smaller than my right but the left boot was unwearable due to pressure on the top of my foot.

Boots are well constructed and durable. CAUTION: Width runs narrow and cramps my toes. 1st pair I ordered was an 11 1/2 D (my true size), boots were too big 2nd pair I ordered 11D. Felt a little snug (narrow) but thought that being unlined leather, they would stretch. A year and a half later, I'm on my way to a shoe repair shop to have the toe box stretched. Can't wear the boots for more than a day or two, too painful. $200. boots, come on Thorogood, get it right!

Loved the boots and the leather, but my heel kept sliding up. I ordered an 8 which is the size I usually wear, sometimes . an 8 . 1/2, but these feel maybe they were a 1/2 size to big. Also felt weird having only three eyelets and then 3 speed hooks. Ordered a 7 1/2 in the 8 inch. Hoping this will be better.

Dude... these boots are oversized by a half size at LEAST. Buyer beware! Other than that, they hold up well in a warehouse setting and on motorcycle rides. BUY THE RIGHT SIZE, AND SIZE 1/2 DOWN. 200+ is way too much for them to charge for inaccurate sizes.

Boots were used and soles were dirty, no manufacturer's box.

One shoe was obviously longer than the other shoe.

The toe box was stitched differently on each boot. With the stitching not matching you see the difference on the out and feel the fit difference inside the boot. One boot has leather grain issues and was coming apart. This was my first Thorogood boot and will be my last. I returned the boots.

Defective. Boot eyelets not spaced correctly.

I purchased two different pairs of Heritage boots. Both pairs had major functional flaws. On one pair, the speed hooks were assembled backward and nonfunctional. The leather sides were sown on the other pair of boots crooked to the toebox and the eyelets side to side were 1/2 inch off. Thorogood has terrible quality control. At this price point, these issues should not exist. Love the leather quality and style. Poor workmanship.
