These run narrower then you would think at 4E I anticipated them being very wide. They are not. However, the more I wear them the more comfortable they are getting. So we will see how things progress over the coming weeks.

I am a trashman who is always on his feet. These boots are mediocre in comparison to keen utility boots. The toe box is way too narrow, reflective sole bottom is ugly,boot feels too flat for long use. Not the best or worst boots I've owned but I will never purchase this brand again.

On my first attempt I ordered my "Normal" size 8 that I typically wear, but I can wear several sizes from 7.5 to 9, depending on the Mfg & Design of the shoe. The shoes felt a big larger, I would say at least a half size to big, so I opted for a half size smaller to get a better fit. The next attempt for fit was good for the downsize to 7.5, however now I discover that the boots are very narrow, possibly due to the CT design. I attempted to wear them for a few days to break them in, but they nearly crushed every bone in my feet, and on the 4th day I gave up, and my feet thanked me! (12 hrs a day for 4 days) Even after completely lossening the laces as though they were removed, didn't help releive the vice like compression on the sides of my foot. I also contribute part of this to the fact that the boots are very well made of a heavy full grain leather, which I can appreciate, and tolerate in a boot that allows my feet to be more cradled than crushed. Now - I can't thank the Zappos CS staff enough for being so accomodating with this, my first time purchasing an item such as shoes, in an online store. Due to the unique design of my feet and the fact I can wear a range of sizes, I knew it would be a challenge to get the perfect fit on the first attempt, and CS has been stellar in their assistance and offering options to help me get...Back on my feet! I have added a few images so you can see how close the 7.5 is in length as compared to the two 8s on either side, as well as how much more narrow the front of the boots are as well. I still like the look and design of this boot, so I'm now waiting for the wider version to come available.

Some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn even on day 1. I walked a long way on day 1 in these boots and my feet felt awesome from the first minute I put them on. Ordering was hassle free. Very good experience.

These are the MOST comfortable work shoes I have ever worn!! And even though they are waterproof, they stayed cool throughout the day.

The fit of these boots is excellent. The toe box felt slightly roomier than other work boots I wear, which is a GOOD thing. The leather is incredibly high quality. I am on my feet and on the move for Ten hours a day, and this level of comfort is very important!!

They fit great! I have always been skeptical of ordering boots online. These boots actually fit perfectly to my surprise. I would definitely order another pair since I am very satisfied with this purchase and I believe others would be too!

My first pair and I’m so led on the look and the name! I was told by my coworkers that the Wolverine brand is a good one. I agree with them now. My package arrived on time as I was told and a look and feel at first try onleft me very impressed! I will purchase another pair of Wolverines in the future.

Overall these boots are gorgeous. But we needed an extra wide shoe. These are wide near the back and then start narrowing near the toe, the part that needs the width the most. It seems that Wolverine didn't want to purchase multiple sizes of the composite toe to accommodate extra wide, so they simply reformed the shoe to narrow near the toe box. It's unfortunate, but these are going back.

Amazing boots, great for the long shifts, used to wear these as a ship dock associate that would do 50k steps.
