These fit perfectly and true to size. I wore them today for the first time and walked about 2 miles. They are extremely comfortable. No problems at all! Very high quality. I'm very happy with them.

Super comfy boots - I bought nine pairs and narrowed it down to three and had to keep these because as soon as I put them on they were so comfy. They didn't require any breaking in!

Completely up to Gentle Souls' standards--gorgeous leather,so well made and comfortable right out of the box. Just what I wanted, classy with just enough edge with straps and buckles. Could spend a lot more on boots of this quality and style. Very happy they're now in my closet.

Some of these best boots I've ever purchased. I received them on the 31st of December and I've probably worn them the last 13 out of 16 days I've had them. The insole was a little squished in the toe when I received them but once I wore them for a couple hours I didn't even notice. I'm a hairstylist and I normally wear wedges to work for height but I find every excuse to wear these boots. My husband has even said to me, 'geez you're gonna wear the soles off of those things!' I'm normally a 7 in regular shoes and 7.5 in boots. I ordered a 7.5 and they're perfect! They get more comfortable the more I wear them!

Outstanding support with great style/quality! I'm a physical therapist and a shoe with exceptional arch and calcaneal (heel) support is hard to find in a shoe and more so in a boot! This is my first experience with Gentle Souls. They are on my radar not only for me but my chronic pain patients. WELL worth the money!

BEST BOOT EVER! SERIOUSLY! So this is my second pair of GS and straight out of the box and to Europe for 10 days. They walked 8-10 miles a day with me and not one ounce of pain or discomfort. The arch support is amazing. They supported my ankle and I was able to walk cobblestone streets with ease. After all that wear they need a good shine but are in great condition. Easy on/off at airport security...just bought another pair in taller version as these are worth every penny! I like my boots a big roomy. I wear without socks normally as my feet stay warm but wore with socks in Europe. Wear 7.5 in sneakers, bought in 8 and had plenty of room for socks.

When I first tried on the boot, I felt that it was on the small side, as some people have commented. BUT.....when I stuck my hand all the way down into the toe box, there was a small piece of foam packing material lining the toe area in both boots. It did not come out with the other paper and foam packed into the boot. Once that was removed, total comfort and, for me, absolutely true to size! A quality boot and comfortable right out of the box. These are the first pair of boots that I have liked that are NOT Frye! Just remember to reach all the way in to remove the foam lining the toe box!

Beautiful styling and quality. Feels a bit tight across the widest part of my foot. They would probably stretch with wear but I wish they came in a Wide option. I decided to send these back and keep a different black bootie I ordered.

I have sad, painful feet - bruised metatarsal bones near the balls of my feet - so it's hard to find shoes that are stylish, supportive and cushioning. These fit the bill! They are a little clunky, but oh so comfortable. If you're looking for a tailored bootie, these are not for you. They have a more casual look. The leather is extremely soft and supple. I found them to be true to size.

Love, love, love these boots! The leather is so soft and the boot is very comfortable to wear all day. It fits very well. I wish I could afford to buy another pair! Yes they are expensive, but you're getting what you pay for and the quality is worth the cost.

Beautiful boots! I love the look but I have extra wide feet and they are just too narrow for me. I am sad to have to send them back.

Very cute style. The leather is soft and beautiful and the insole is very comfortable. I found this boot to run a little large and I have a feeling it would become too loose over time due to the softness of the leather, so I decided to return it.

Just received these beautiful boots in the mail. I had ordered a half size smaller than usual only because my usual size was sold out, and they fit surprisingly well. I have room to spare in the toe, and although they are a little tight with merino socks, I don't doubt the leather will stretch over time to create the perfect fit. I've been on the hunt for boots like these FOREVER—well-made, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. Looking forward to wearing these boots for some time to come!

Beautiful boot! I bought a half size smaller because of the reviews that said it ran large but they are a touch too short.

I love these boots. I have problem feet that hurt most of the time but I can wear these all day long. They run a bit big, but I wear them with thicker socks since it's been cold here in NJ and they work just fine. I think 1/2 size smaller would be too small.

I am a walker who is on an eternal quest to find shoes that are both comfort and stylish. Gentle souls excels in providing both. I am a solid 10M. This boot was a perfect fit, and oh so comfortable.

I could not be happier. I have been looking the perfect black boots for skinny jeans and leggings. I love these boots, the leather is really supple, the height is just right and the footbed is supportive and comfortable. Plus they are easy to get on and off.

Good grief! Online bootie shopping is not for me. Love the look of these boots, they seemed to run slightly big, or you can wear thick socks. I typically wear a 7.5 or an 8 depending on the brand, but the 8 in these boots seemed much larger. So back to the drawing board. Don't get me wrong, they are very cute, and of course well made. Just not a good fit for my feet.

I wish these had worked for me. These look great and the leather is high quality. It's been a struggle finding the right ankle boots as my left foot is totally different than my right. My left ankle is fused @ 90 degrees, because of that I'm unable to wear anymore than about 1-1/2" heel. I also deal with occasional swelling. I now realize I need to include a 11-1/2" - 12" ankle circumference in my search. I was unable to zip up and still have some room for swelling. Not all the descriptions include this information. I'm so thankful for Zappo's return policy. Fast shipping and the short videos of each shoe, so that I can see them being worn. Getting a visual of the shoe being worn is very helpful for those of us with foot and ankle problems.

I am returning because they don't feel very comfortable. I want boots I can wear for hours every day and walk in for long stretches.

I have a pair of Gentle Souls sandals and they are really comfortable. My only hesitation is the price. I really like them, I'm keeping them, but they just aren't a 175.00 boot and that's the sale price. Wish they were one inch higher.
