I ordered these in both black and the olive color. The olive color mixed with brownish black was a bit to military looking for my taste. Had it been a solid olive I would have loved it. These boots are well made, good quality leather and soles. I typically wear a 9.5 to 10 in boots and the 9.5 fit perfectly, no problem with loose ankles either. I have a normal wide foot and the width of the boots felt great. I wanted to love these for the detailing of the leather over the heel but, did not. Perhaps a little more contrast between the color of the leather and the sole would have highlighted this detail. (Studio lighting in the photographs makes them look great!) I kept trying them on to feel a wow factor. I looked at them thinking would I envy these on someone else? Ultimately I just found the style a little ordinary, not a bit of "WOW". Am returning these in search of something with a little more pop.

I love that this boot stands out in a crowd. The heel helps support my posture unlike most other riding boots that have no support. Looks great with a pair of leggings and a long jacket.

I got these in espresso for Christmas, and I absolutely love them. They honestly look better in person than in the picture- more of a distressed look in real life. I wear a 10 to 10 1/2, and have fairly muscular calves, which sometimes push me into the wide-shaft sizes in other brands. I ordered a 10, and they fit perfectly, and are very comfortable. In fact, I just may sleep in them.

Beautiful boots and very comfortable. I rarely find boots for my size 10.5/11s where the shafts aren't huge. These fit perfectly. Still trying to figure out how style these boots though.

I bought these boots just before I left for a 10 day trip to Ireland, I wore them every day, all day and they were fantastic. They fit like a glove.

I believe I reviewed these boots when I first received them, but these boots merit a second review. I have never owned any shoes that fit me so well. The padding feels good, the leather is supple and hugs my calves and ankles snugly and comfortably. I swear, I even have more confidence when I wear them :) My only problem is that now none of my other boots feel good. a pair of Fryes I got last year no longer feel comfortable in comparison, and I wish I could trade them out. Another pair from Madewell were given away b/c they could not compare.

Love them, they are absolutely gorgeous. I get so many compliments, people would stop me and ask where I've got them. I recommend them for stylish ladies.

I have wanted this boot for soooo long, I finally got the olive. I love the color, I don't think it's too military green. I have big legs and had no problems zipping them up. I got an 8 1/2 and it fits perfectly, so I won't be wearing moderately thick, nor thick socks. I plan on getting the black and brown vintage, and the peacock, but I may size up to a 9. I normally wear an 8 in shoes but I buy an 8 1/2 in a boot. This is a pricey boot but it's a Pliner, and well worth it. The quality is excellent. I love it.

These boots are a head turner. My husband is a huge Pliner boot fan and now I know why. They are pricey but the quality is worth it. The foot bed has a lot of cushion. A little light on the support but the toe box is wide enough for my aging feet . Love love love these boots

I love this boot! It fits true to size, and it is so comfortable. I got the Olive color, and it goes great will all my jeans. I wear it mostly with my skinny jeans. Love this boot.

These are very well made, high quality boots. The distressing is not symmetrical (I did not expect it to be). The olive color is green but is dark so not overtly green unless you are in a bright room. They are very comfortable and fit my smaller calfs. I am between a 7½ and 8. The 7½ was too snug and the 8 was not available. I would buy the 8 if they become available in the color that I want. They are expensive, even on sale, but worth it.

I have wanted this boot forever! I absolutely love it. I purchased the expresso and they are beautiful. Considering ordering in black while on sale.

These are amazingly stylish, comfortable booths. The leather is beautifully soft, but strong, and the zippered details with over-spats are quite sassy. Highly recommended for staple boots with the slightest bit of steam punky flair. I've had them for about 1.5 years, and they are wearing extremely well - the heels and soles are well made, and the leather just gets more comfortable.

Beautiful boots, and very classy. I tried the peacock blue on in a store and then found them on sale at Zappos. Yay. They look great with jeans tucked in and the slight color in the peacock blue is enough to give the boots more personality without being too much. The foot bed was quite stiff out of the box but after wearing them around the house for a few days they started to form to my feet (bunions and all) and today I wore them all day with no problems.

Loved, loved, loved this boot! Super comfy, just the right bit of lift to feel a bit dressy, and a subtle sparkle for fun!

Love this boot! Very true to side in the foot; however, the leg is a bit snug. I bought the olive and chestnut colors and am keeping both because I love them so much! Great size heel, very comfortable.

Love this boot - highly recommend buying it. I was skeptical at first - couldn't stop thinking about them and bought them so I could see if they were as cute in person as on the screen. They are even better in person. I have thinner calves and these boots fit so perfect. Solid construction - well worth the money. They look very sexy paired with a shorter skirt or skinny straight jeans. Go for it - you won't be disappointed!

I'm so in love with this boot, the style is perfect, so well made, you can dress them up or down. But unfortunately I had to return them today; Did NOT want. The length of the boot felt about a 1/2 sz. to big, but with thick socks it would work. For the rest of the boot, they were just to big on me over all. I felt like I had on someone else's boots/ my legs where swimming in them, much to much room in them. I wanted them to fit a bit more closer to my leg. Thank you Zappos for your service, you're all awesome over there. Happy holidays to you all.

I have these in the espresso color and want to share that these look even better in person. The color is great with Navy blue, greens, grays and of course certain shades of tans, reds, and purples. I love the finish on these, love the height on these. Even though there is a heel on these, it is stacked which makes them a little more comfortable if you are wearing them for several hours while standing. I am finding that these are very versatile in this color. Also, I noticed the quality on these immediately after taking these out of the box. If you are considering these boots, I say go for it. I am very happy with these.

Last week was the topper as I wasn't wearing them, but a stranger that had noticed the boots a week prior asked me about them! Along with style, they provide amazing comfort. If I didn't wish to be cremated I would ask to be buried in these boots. As it is, when I'm gone, I hope they pair up with the bright person.

Beg, borrow, or steal to get these boots. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box. No wearing in period needed. Way more comfortable than any other boot I own, including Frye. Incredibly expensive looking (ok - they are expensive). I saw these boots on a salesperson in an upscale clothing store and had to have them. Be warned and if you have a wider calf you will not be able to zip these up. I don't have a skinny calf, but I wear a standard boot ok. I have these on with leggings and that's probably all I'll be able to wear them with other than a skirt. But they're lovely and I'm keeping them. They feel true to size and the zipper down the inside helps.

I have to say that I have never, ever written a review, but often read them and find them helpful. With this boot, (especially because of the price tag!) I felt compelled to help some others who may be eyeing these boots. Bottom line, is that they simply rock. ;). I have searched high and low for a knee-high boot, and haven't found anything truly like this in stores....from the fitted style, to the distressed leather, to the quality...it is all unique and simply outstanding. Although there are some boots that attempt to have a similar style, like the Fergie Ledger Too, they just aren't comparable, I did order the Fergies, and although very cute, it was loose on my leg, the leather was not flexible, and the heel is a bit dressier. The quality of the Devi is unbeatable. The leather is everywhere...the inside, outside, the sole, and even the area hidden by the zippers on the lateral aspect of the boot that are for design. The zipper works smoothly...no tugging here! The leather is very thick, so although these boots will stretch a bit, it won't get floppy with time....and it will definitely help provide some warmth to your legs with the cooler temps. Because of the cost, I went with practicality first, and ordered the distressed black suede. My thoughts being that black goes with everything, can be dressed up or down, and that with the distressed look, I wouldn't fret so much about every little bump and scratch. Love them, and am so happy I bit the bullet and went for it. As far as the fit, I have to say it is pretty close to true. I usually wear an 8, but tend to have to size up in half-size increments as the heel gets higher. They were a little stiff from the get-go, but are loosening and molding after just a few wears. The support is a bit less than moderate, so take that into account with sizing, in the event you want to add an insert. Keep in mind these tend to go fast when they go! If you google the Devi 2, it is pretty much nonexistent... I already put in my order for a second pair in taupe! ;)
