I want to love these shoes, and I am keeping them...but a few caveats. I have narrow heels -- I ordered a 39 M, and while it fits okay in the front, it does slide on the heels. I was prepared for that. But the other downside is that there is little to no padding under the balls of your feet, and these actually made my feet quite sore the first weekend I wore them. Not that great to walk in -- despite the look. So while I really do adore the appearance, they are "meh" in the comfort category. I probably should have returned them, but since I've now worn them out, I can't. I think they'll be fine for wearing to work or on outings with limited walking, but they're not what I'd hoped they'd be.

I purchased these shoes because of the removable insole so I can insert my orthotics. The shoes even came with a tag states "removable insole." This is not true. They have a cushiony sole, but not a removable insole.

Love these--my all around casual fall- winter shoe that goes great w everything. Previous experience w this brand is that they run small so went half size up and it worked perfectly, comfy and classy. Lots of positive comments.

I love these shoes and get tons of compliments. The laces were a lot longer than I expected, so I cut them shorter. I usually wear a 7.5 (rarely a 7) and have found the 37 to fit perfectly.

This is a great shoe! No break in needed. If you have bunions and want to wear a heel, I recommend this shoe. It runs a little wide which is what I love about it. Foot bed is very cushy.

These shoes are amazing and I've been wearing them every chance I get. They look best with jeans but I've worn them with other pants and also a casual long skirt. The whole shoe is made incredibly well, as all Pikolinos are. I ordered a 38 first which is my usual size in Pikolinos. I had to return them for a 37. Could be because this is my first boot from Pikolinos and those run larger.

These little boots are sooooo stylish! I got them to wear with skinny-leg pants during the spring and fall, when it's too warm for a full boot but it's too cold for an open shoe. I wear a size 8, and the 38 is a good fit. With thin socks, the heel slides a bit, but a medium weight sock takes care of that problem. The laces are long, so I double-knot them. I'm not good at walking in heels of any height and they usually hurt my feet, but these heels are so sturdy it doesn't really feel like you're walking in heels. But the thing I love the most about them is how COOL THEY LOOK!

I loved the style of this shoe, although I do wish the black would have had a little less of a shine to it. Very comfortable. Nice cushion to the insole, and as always very soft leather. I did have to exchange for a smaller size. I wear a 10 and own five other pair of Pikolinos and a 41 has always been perfect, however this seems to run a little larger than normal. Really hoping the 40 fits, LOVED the shoe otherwise!!

If these are not the most beautiful shoes ever made, I don't know which are. Alas, they're going back because my feet are wider than I think they are and B width (the only available size) is uncomfortably snug. Interestingly, this is only true of my right foot. The left shoe fit ideally. Due to its sheer beauty and 'rightness', I'm tempted to exchange for another pair with fingers (and toes) crossed that the next pair's right boot is made a tiny bit wider. I'm uncertain if that's reasonable or desperate but that's a result of the seductive nature of shoes this lovely!

The length of the boot is right on...the 39 fit my 8.5 well, only there is some extra length where my foot goes forward from the heel. I tried with my boot socks and this helped a bit, but I was still sliding around in the heel, and slipping upward. I do have a narrow heel and wide front with an extremely high ballerina arch. These fit well on the areas most shoes cannot begin to fit, but I am still leery of slipping up and down on the heel. I will most likely send back as to go to a thicker wool sock means that here in ATL, I will not get to wear them nearly as much as I otherwise would. Bummer for me because I love the color marine blue and would have ordered a second pair in black if they worked for me.

So comfortable!!! This is my 2nd "Black 2" pair. Decided to buy them while they're in stuck.

This is a cute boot. Looks good with jeans. The boot is more shiny than expected.

These are nicely-made, comfortable boots (Le Mans 838-8657 lace-up). I like the leather; it has started to crease with wear but doesn't look bad. I normally wear 8 - 8.5 / 38 - 39 in M width. I ordered the 39 M in Brandy color. It's a rich color with black shading on the heel and front edges. The boots are a little wide/loose with plenty of toe room. I might have been able to wear a 38 M, especially since these boots seem to have stretched out some over the past year, but I don't like tight-fitting shoes and can wear thicker socks with these.

Cute! Cute! Cute! I loved everything about these little boots, but they were a full size too large, so I returned them for the Le Mans 838-8696 in a smaller size. Pikolinos makes a GREAT boot! Nice soft leather, well crafted, beautiful! I’m also really impressed with Zappos! Their customer service is second to none!

I bought these for my wife. we had concern over the European fitting -- she usually wears a 7 and that was not a choice. however, the shoes were a perfect fit for her 7 and the quality and workmanship was better than I usually expect from women's shoes.

Can only describe as "Shoe Love"! Excellent style, maximum comfort straight out of the box, leather is very soft and high quality. Agree with another reviewer that the laces could have been shorter, but I tuck them in anyway, so not really a problem.

This is 1 of the few brands that I can buy and have a perfect fit. Comfortable out of the box, looks good.

I thought this boots were adorable. Then, my husband said that the finish looked cheap, as if they coloring had been spray painted on them. He totally ruined them for me.
