Very nice boot. Only downside is because of the weather in the North East, I haven't been able to wear them much. Suede and snow and ice just dont mix.

Some of the most comfortable shoes I've worn! Just as with all Johnston & Murphy products, they are a little pricey but worth the money.

I ordered the Tan ones and when they came I was surprised as these are NOT suede! They are actually full grain oiled leather which would be fine if that's what I wanted I did not. I also tried on the blue and rust coloured ones in store (They did not have the root beer or Tan in store) And I can tell you the tan ones are NOTHING like the other colors. If you want a nice pair of oiled leather boots get the TAN ones if you actually like SUEDE order another colour. I have since returned these and have placed an order for a pair in CAMEL.

Ordered my shoes from the main Johnston and Murphy website but the shoes came from a clearance store with worn and faded leather. When I went to the clearance store the store associate was very unhelpful.

I bought two pairs, black and brown. These are nice shoes but to narrow and tight compared to other brands, I returned both pairs. Unfortunately they are not offered in wide or I would have exchanged them. I returned them over a week ago and have not heard from you yet regarding credit.

In contrast to my previous shoe purchase this shoe is extremely comfortable - in fact ever so slightly too loose.

After receiving new pair of chukkas, I would have preferred a suede' finish instead. I plan to visit a local store and exchange them.

Liked everything except for the fit which is a little tighter than I was expecting.

I love these shoes, I have had two pairs that lasted me years. However, they scratch very easily and I have to constantly worry about scuffing them around the office. I wish the finish was more durable.

I was hoping that these would be the Perfect Replacement for my lovely Hunley Chukka super comfortable boots. Unfortunately these Copeland Chukka toes are Pointed and Not rounded like Hunley and my Small toe gets pinched. I wish that J&M would Resurrect Hunley Chukka Brand and get it made in the same country that made the old ones ... seems manufacturing is different in different countries. But these shoes if they get the same correct sizing as Hunley they would be 5 Stars. I am torn on giving how many stars and if I would recommend to a friend or not. The shoes Feel Great Material ... build seems really good but they just don't cut it as the HUNLEY CHUKKAs did. I had to Return the Shoes.

Haven't had the boots long. Even though they feel and look great, the left boot is separating from the crepe sole. We'll see how J and M handles the situation. If not for the defect, i'd give these boots a 10 out of 10, but i'm not used to expensive boots falling apart this quickly.

When the shoes arrived, I tried on the left shoe and was very pleased with the fit and comfort. Days later, when I actually put on both shoes, I found the right shoe to be much tighter across the top of the arch and the shape of the heal is such that it is more vertical, and not as rounded. It may be the vertical nature of the heal is forcing my foot further into the shoe and thus the tightness in addition to the heal discomfort. I tossed the packaging and so I am not returning the shoes. If the right shoe does not stretch soon, I will donate the shoes.
Lesson: Try on both shoes when they arrive!

I really wanted to like these shoes. My brother-in-law swears by them, so I bought a pair. I could immediately tell I either bought a size too big or they just weren't going to work with the shape of my foot. I could feel rubbing on my right heel right after I put them on and knew if I wore them for an entire day, I'd get a blister. I went to a local outlet and returned them for a size smaller, but the problem persisted. I was told they'd break in, but after wearing for a day, lo and behold, blister on my right heel. The shoes are great, but just beware of that. I returned the second and bought a different pair that I'm extremely pleased with.

They looked great, but I couldn't get my feet into then. The instep is too shallow for my foot. I usually have this problem with loafers but not typically with an Oxford or a chukka. In this case, they were no good for me. Too bad

I like this shoe, but what I thought would be a problem, definitely is a problem. Virtually anything leaves a scratch on this type of outer shell. The store employee showed me a polish that helps to remove a scratch so I bought both. The polish helps, but it quickly dries, and the scratch is still there. It appears there's nothing that can be done. Now, when I wear these shoes, I'm constantly making sure that nothing ever touches the shoe. This is almost impossible as your feet are constantly touching an assortment of things (sitting at a bar, while driving, under a desk, as you get in/out of a car, life). Let me know when you make the same shoe with a much more durable outer shell.
