These boots look great and I've had great experiences with Johnston and Murphy in the past. They definitely feel like a boot and aren't as comfortable as shoes - but they look great in the winter.

After getting the Tan Oiled Full Grain model and loving them, I went and got the Taupe Water Resistant Suede ones and, boy, am I a happy camper. Same incredibly comfortable shoe, impeccable finish and it feels perfect on your foot from day 1. Nice touch: the Johnston & Murphy box the shoes come in is very attractive and each shoe is placed in its own plastic wrapping.

Very attractive boot, comfortable, fit is snug for me but it will stretch a little and be perfect.

The most comfortable pair of shoes I own! Soft padded leather on the inside don't bother my ankle like most other chukka boots do. I can wear these all day without my feet aching. Worth every penny when you find a shoe this comfortable.

I spent a lot of time looking for chukkas that could work with both grey and beige slacks, and these guys have just a hint of red in them and do the trick nicely. I can tell you that I ordered an 8 (I typically wear an 8.5) after reading the reviews and they were too snug. I sent them back for an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. The boot itself is extremely high quality, and insanely comfortable. As soon as I put them on I knew I made the right choice. Best of all, this is one of the only dress chukkas that is waterproof; it saves you from having to buy multiple pairs of shoes for different weather situations.
