My husband has very large (size 15) flat feet and he requires a sturdy arch support. As soon as he tried theses boots on he said, "they feel great". I try to keep him in stylish shoes, which is very difficult with his size, so I purchased them for their great look. We both won! Thank you Johnston & Murphy...for the moderate price, stylish look and excellent comfort in this boot...we will be back for more shoes/boots!

I bought these for my husband. Because my son also owns a pair of these boots, he suggested to size down a half size. My husband wears a 10.5 so I bought the 10. They for perfectly!

Good quality leather, well constructed. Stands out in a market of falling quality and consistency. Hope they keep it up.

These seemed a little narrow initially but once I wore them a bit they fit very well. The leather is soft and the shoes are well made. They are a bit dressier than the Clark's Desert Boots, which is what I wanted. Very pleased.

Nothing better than spending money on shoes to find out they're made in India when you open the box. That was a real disappointment; I thought they would be manufactured somewhere notable. They are pretty comfortable but you barely touch the shoes and they get permanently scratched beyond repair. I should've spent more and got American or Italian-made shoes. REAL shoes, like Allen Edmonds or Alden.

These are great walk around shoes. They are very comfortable and fit as expected.

It is a very well made shoe. Everything from the quality of the packaging to the feel of the leather is impressive. My comments are not meant as complaints, just observations. 1. I think I should have gotten a 9.5 even though my regular shoe size is a 10. The 10 looks and feels larger than my other brand shoes like Clark or Bass. 2. They are much "fancier" than expected. I was looking for something to wear with jeans and be casual. These look more like what you might wear to the office. If I was going to order them again, i'd go with the Tan Olled Full grain because the Red Brown is much shinier and a lighter tan than pictured. 3. As other reviewers mentioned they are heavier than any other shoes that I own. Not a big deal, just another observation. It's my first pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes, and I wouldn't hesitate to but this brand again in the future.

Let me begin by saying I absolutely love these boots. Size and width specifications are right on the mark. One thing I would note is that these are solid, well made boots. That said they are very heavy compared to other footwear and the weight is noticeable at first. Just give it a day and you will not notice a difference.

I really like these boots. I wear (and bought) a size 10. I should have ordered a 9.5 to try on also. They do narrow in the toe box of the boot so I'm not sure how they would have fit. Other than that, the boots are very comfortable. The materials actually feel like they are worth the price. Also these are very quiet shoes when walking on hard surfaces. I will be buying from this brand again.

I ordered these in a size 12 and they were absolutely huge. I would recommend going down a size for the boots to fit right. I went to the actual Johnston & Murphy store at my local mall and they woman who helped me said their boots run very large. I tried on the 11 and still had a little room at the top which I like. Other than that, these are fantastic looking boots that are very comfortable.

Nice shoe but too narrow for me. Color was a little different friegan I expected.

The color was wrong. I ordered the dark brown/reddish color. It was a light brown, almost tan. None of the three options on Zappos matched the color actually sent. Super dissapointing.

They look terrible after just 4 months of wear to and from the office. The leather is badly discolored and bulging, and the soles look ragged. I could maybe get three or four more weeks out of them before they they’re completely unusable, but they already look embarrassingly worn out.
