Bought these for my 21 year old (picky) college student. Wow! He loves them. These boots have kept his feet warm and dry while being stylish at the same time. Comfortable right out of the box. He can go from class to evening wear. The gray goes with everything. Thank you!

I have three pairs of these in different colors, they are perfect for causal work wear and comfortable for long days on your feet. The style goes with almost any type of pants and occasion. The sole is durable and after having one pair for more than 5 years the sole is still in great shape, wearing evenly and has plenty of traction.

Overall this is a very nice shoe. However, the picture shows the red brown oiled full grain color to be solid. Actually, the toe of the boot is darker than the rest of the shoe giving it a variegated appearance.

Super comfortable right out of the box. The pebbled texture leather is so soft, looks expensive, new yet broken in. Looks great with any clothes except shorts. Bought same shoe 2 yrs ago, wore the heck out of them and knew I couldn’t live without so I got another pair. Same durable, quality construction and materials as 2 yrs ago. All day long comfort and great looking.

I just replaced a pair of J & M Chukka's that lasted 10 years. The more I wore them the better the leather looked to me. Go figure! When the heel finally came off, I bought this pair. I hope they last as long and look as good as the other pair. Bob McK

I'm still breaking them in. Most J&M shoes are good to go for meet out of the box. These rub just a little. But they are clearly well made, look good, and feel good.

I use Johnston and Murphy for all my shoe purchases. I believe the value is good given the overall quality of the product. I would probably buy more of the clothing if there was a local store to make sure sizes were true.
