I wouldn't spend this much money on these slippers. My daughter purchased a pair of these for me from Zappos and in less than a year they were coming apart at the seams. I contacted Zappos with my concern and was told to contact Haflinger. I then contacted Haflinger and was asked for photos and then told that Zappos should handle the issue. In the meantime I am out of a pair of expensive slippers. I think for $80.00 I could purchase a new pair of $10 slippers for 8 years. And since, neither company wants to stand behind the product SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T PURCHASE THESE SLIPPERS. SEE PICTURES BELOW.

Nice slippers but the soles separated from the wool tops in several places after 10 months. Poor quality or workmanship?

Very nice, but I decided to go with full slippers instead. I think the Giesswein slippers have a little more arch support. Cuter designs with this brand, though.

I love these slippers. They are so cute and they are so nice and cozy warm. I have purchased several pairs of these slippers over the years because I love them so much. I have learned to order a size smaller if I want to wear them without socks (which I usually do), as they do stretch a bit and when they get dirty I wash them in the washer and they shrink up a bit to fit snugly again. Works for me.....

Toasty treats. I won't wear these outdoors, but they're perfect for weekends and for my laundry room floor. Cozy, easy slide-ons. Not too thick or hot (hate sweaty feet). Just right. I ordered half a size up, which was perfect. They're plenty wide, but they're slippers, so that's fine.

I've never had a pair of slippers like this before and am pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable they are. The wool is not at all scratchy. In fact, it's rather soothing....perhaps the natural lanolin? My feet are quite happy. There is good support, and they are holding up well (been wearing them for over a month). Bonus, the slippers are super cute. :) One note about size. I need a wide toebox area, and these do just fine and even have enough space for a bit of toe wiggling. If you have narrow feet, you might consider going down a half size.

The Zappos site lists the 38 as equivalent to a size 7. I'd take issue w/that. I'm about a 6.5 and I ordered the "7," which was a 38 and it was fully a size too large. So I returned the 38 and re-ordered the 37 (which they say is a 6). I'd say the 37 is perfect. For me, the 38 was more like a generous 7.5.

This is a great slipper! After reading many great positive reviews, I tried these slippers. They were a little snug across the arch at first, but quickly conformed to my foot. I really enjoy wearing them around the house, and am actually wearing them as I type this review. My feet don't get too sweaty but always feel adequately warm.

Best slippers ever - comfortable and cute; this purchase is replacing a Haflinger pair I purchased over 7 years ago. Original pair is still good, but I couldn't resist the Lizzy kitty model

I am normally a 9 1/2 so I ordered a 40 and they are PERFECT. I love the feel of wearing them and also how you “pad” around the house in them. They are such a comfortable home for your feet. I vow not to get them wet. These are strictly going to be house shoes bc I am wondering if the holes people are showing is either from them being wet or too tight or both. If I get holes in them from normal wear, I will document by editing! They are adorable though, and I really hope the honeymoon lasts!!!

Based on reviews and Zappos' recommendation, I bought a size 41. Normally, I would be an EU 40. They're a little roomy but that's great for when I want to wear socks in the winter. Very comfortable, and I agree with other reviewers who mention warmth without sweating; that's wool for you. :) I'm glad to have found a high quality slipper than I can wash. The style is cute and fun. Very happy I bought these!

Although a bit wide these are adorable and comfortable. I wear socks with my slippers so the width isn’t impactful. I appreciate the arch support in a slipper.

These are a darling pair of slippers that I expect to keep my toesies warm this winter. Since I wear size 8 1/2 AA shoes, the fit is a little large. However when I add a cozy sock, there should be a comfy fit. I am very pleased with my purchase and Zappo can be counted on for having the needed style when other stores are sold out.

Love love love them I am in love with these slippers. The wool is high quality and feels great on my feet. They feel light but also substantial. The cat motif is as cute as can be. The felt bottoms are super silent which is an added bonus. In all my years I’ve never bought slippers for myself but figured I should since standing on the hardwood in socks kills my feet. So of course I ordered ten pairs. These were hands down my favorite slippers and I look forward to putting them on when I get home. What a treat!

Adorable! I've been looking for washable slipper that would last more than one winter. I hope this is it! So cute, well made & with good arch support.

These are cute and cozy. Unfortunately I need some serious arch support for very high arches when standing on hard floors and these just did not cut it. My orthodics did not stay put enough for my liking when I tried wearing them. I tried the slippers because I have Haflinger shoes that fit great and provide excellent support, and I was looking for something cozy, but it's hard to provide that same support in a soft bottomed slipper.

I was looking for a slipper with support for my very high arches. This isn't super supportive for me, but I can actually feel the arch underfoot -- a rare find, so I'm satisfied. I'd have guessed from the picture that these have a stiff sturdy felt upper, but they're actually soft and very flexible. There's no itch factor (unless you're allergic to wool, I guess). Love the kitty. He/she is very securely attached and includes some embroidery embellishment which might be difficult to see in the pictures. I read reviews of other styles -- sheep, dog, etc. -- that mention the big toe area wearing out. I can see how that might happen if your toe sticks up and/or your nail is long. The sole is also wool (indoor use only) with very low profile rubber treads that won't fall off and haven't left marks anywhere. They gripped well on hardwood and linoleum. I had no trouble with the slipper falling off while descending carpeted stairs. Overall, I'm pleased with my cute & cozy new slips. I would not recommend them if you're looking for outdoor soles, stable uppers, excellent arch support, or something that will accommodate orthotics.

First, the downsides: this style has non-skid dots on the bottom that are great on hardwood floors but catch on rugs (and probably would do the same on carpeting). I will probably exchange them for that reason and get Haflinger's AT Classic Hard Sole instead, which I've worn for years as house slippers. And as previous reviewers noted, Haflingers tend to wear out in the toes after a year or so of daily use. But I don't mind buying a new pair annually because to me, it's an investment in healthy feet and legs. Their soles are flexible, with enough cushioning but not so much they're stiff or clumsy. The wool is stretchy, so that even if you have a swollen foot - as I do, from a broken ankle - the slippers are comfy right out of the box. They're warm without making your feet sweat. Wearing Haflingers also completely cured a sharp pain I'd developed in my heel from going barefoot on hardwood floors. And when I've tried to economize in the past with $30 scuff slippers, I found I literally scuffed my feet...whereas in Haflingers I walk normally, which is better for my legs and back. They're pricey, but I think they're worth it.

The slippers are not true to size. I'm having to reorder in the next size down. Other than that they are the cutest slippers ever.

The design of these Haflinger slippers is really cute. I normally wear size 6.5 medium width and ordered both the 36 & 37, since I've had to go down a size in Haflingers previously. The 36 was a little short and the 37 too long. Additionally, they run extremely wide. I would have needed several pairs of socks to keep them on my feet. The felted wool fabric is rather flimsy and I expect it will tear apart. I returned them. Don't waste your money.

Save your money! They fell apart after about a year. Had a Wool sole, should be more durable for the price.

Really cute slippers, too large for size 8 though.

Horrible quality. the seam came undone within 6 months. I do not buy this brand anymore. It used to be great but now it is very poor quality. Not sure if they are even made in Germany anymore. A real disappointment.
