I am only a casual runner but comfortable running shoes are important. I purchased these Asics because my old pair (Asics GT-2170) were getting old. The description said these GT-2000s replaced the GT-2170s. I don't think they are as good as my old Asics. They are taking a long time to break in. My last Asics never even needed to be broken in. My feet can go numb in these. They don't have cushion at all. I don't think they can be returned now that I've used them but I am willing to try another Asics running shoe based on previous experience. I would n'ot recommend this particular Asics style if you are looking to replace your old GT-2170s.

I normally wear a 8.5 WW. Based on the reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size up to a 9WW. Glad I did. The length seemed right. The sneaker was very roomy in the toe box but very tight across the instep and in the heal area. I do have a high instep, but I've never had this problem in a sneaker! If you have a high instep, this sneaker is not for you. I like the look of the Asics, but the fit was a disappointment.

Have three pairs of Asics running shoes, and this one is my favorite, very comfortable for my needs. Not a runner, but Dr. says these are the best for me. Had double knee replacement and I need a sturdy shoe and these fit the bill. Will order another pair soon.

These sneakers are very comfortable and great for my flat feet. They have the extra stability I need so that the arch part of my foot doesn't turn in when walking. This second generation GT-2000 does fit a little bit more snug throughout the foot than the Asics GT-2000 first generation but there is still plenty of room in the toe box area for my bunions. No breaking in needed, they fit great right out of the box. I wear a 10 1/2 in these just like the first generation Asics.

These shoes are the only shoes to EVER comfortably fit my awful, super wide feet (I ordered the extra wide size.). Right out of the box, no blisters, no breaking them in... Nothing! I run and workout in them with zero pain. Like a dream. Couldn't be happier with them! Woo hoo! I do wish their were more color varieties featured in the extra wide size. That's the only negative thing I have to say about these shoes. Even still the colors aren't bad. Would just like some choices is all.

I have a narrow foot with a high arch. It is near impossible to get athletic shoes that fit me. It is also near impossible to walk into any given store...at least around here...and find any narrow sizes. That is why I love Zappos! I order three sizes and almost always one pair will fit. Then I just return the other two. This shoe is light and a good width for me (9.0 narrow). They are also good shock absorbers. I wear them to the gym and also for walking. I don't like shoes tight on the top of my foot, so I laced it differently where most of the tightness is around the ankle. I do love these shoes and have gotten compliments on them. If you have narrow feet...especially in the heel, try these in the narrow size. I am so glad that I did. Now what to do with all of the other "too wide" athletic shoes that are in my closet? When they are too wide, my foot slides down and crams my toes!

Zappos recommended these sneakers because others purchased them with heel and foot pain. I ordered both a 10 and a 10 1/2 M due to reviews. I'm a 10 M normally but 10 1/2 M fit perfect. My podiatrist informed me these were the sneakers he recommends. I now walk without pain or discomfort. I just purchased a back up pair in case they stop manufacturing them.

Asics has become my go to shoe. They are comfortable, fit well, and when I needed physical therapy for a sprained ankle my therapist was overjoyed when he asked what brand of tennis shoes I wore. I love the color combinations too.

These are my go to shoes!!! Great for road runs and trails too. Versatile enough for boot camp and weight training. Toe box is roomy and perfect for me. Not to heavy and clunky, but offer support unlike many new zippy minimalist styles. I put about 20-30 miles on these shoes each week. They wear well. Zappos, please continue to offer these in WW widths. They are IMPOSSIBLE to find and just what I need. NO place better than Zappos for selection, service and speedy delivery! Thanks guys!

I love these shoes. I bought 2 pair. They are a good fit. I have a long narrow foot and it is hard to find a 10.5. These are well worth the money.

Zappos is amazing. Just amazing! These shoes are also! So bright and fun! They make you want to go for a run!! My favorite thing is that the tongue stays put where the previous model of this shoe that I own does not. It makes for a much more comfortable run! The has a WONDERFUL arch support which has caused a little pain for me but that is just because I have a very flat foot. Love this shoe!

I've worn nothing but Asics for over 25 years and this is the first time I just could not wear one of their shoes. I have been a loyal 2000 series fan from the beginning. Right away these shoes seemed too small even though they were the same size I have always worn. After just a few miles I had intense pain across my big toes. The heel slipped also. I ordered a half size larger but still had the same problems. I eventually ordered a pair of Gel-Exalts and I LOVE them! Very comfortable! Sorry Asics you get an "F" on these.

These shoes have been great so far. They have comfort, plus they are lightweight and seem to be very durable. To me, these qualities make great shoes. They look fantastic too, which also helps!

Love these running shoes - this is probably my 5th pair. They are just cushy enough, with good lateral support. I wear size larger than my regular shoes.

I love the GT 2000 series, they are all I run in. Unfortunately I don't always love their colors. This bright yellow is great for early morning runs and is cuter than some of their color combos. I'm on my second pair. Love them.

I have flat feet and use the treadmill 5x a week for 60 minutes alternating between fast walks and jogs. I always find ASICS to be a dependable, supportive and long lasting brand for my overpronation. I was thrilled and excited to see such a fun color on a sturdy shoe ... though I crave and need support; I like lots of color. This shoe didn't disappoint. I bought 2 pairs so I won't be without and I'm tempted to buy 2 more... but I won't.

I have very wide feet and got the 9.5 extra wide. I love them. They're comfortable and although I expected them to be little wider, I've had them for a couple of months now and stretched them out and they work fine, don't squash my feet. I wasn't sure about the fluorescent as I've always bought more conservative blah tennis shoes, but I when I got them, I loved the color. Arch support is fine.

Good fit, feels supportive and sturdy. My feet are overpronated and these help me feel well balanced. My feet are also on the small side of 7.5, so in wearing orthotics I would say they fit true to size of not a tiny bit large.

Love these shoes! Feet feel great after a run. Tons of compliments on the neon yellow and hoping to pick up the blue/orange too.

I have a narrow foot and it is so great to find a good exercise shoe in narrow. It fit great and gave me good support during my step class at the gym and very comfortable.

Favorite brand for gym! Provides great support, heel protection (which I need) I wear 71/2 M. This is easily my 6th pair over the years.

This is a reliable shoe for ordering online. Predictable sizing and materials. It is consistent year to year even when the model number changes. It's well made!

I have tried on dozens of shoes over the last 2 years and finally, these fit well. I have an extra wide foot and a narrow heel and pronation. My heel feels stable and my toes have room. I am very happy with these shoes. Surprisingly, other Asics didn't fit, but only the GT-2000 did.

These shoes are great! They have excellent heel support and are very comfortable. I was a little wary of how bright they are but purchased them anyway! They are bright but I get tons of compliments on them each time I wear them and they also motivate me on lazy days because they're so bright and fun!

I really like Asics. I have had plantar fasciitis and have to wear orthotics. My foot doctor recommended Ascis and I have not regretted purchasing them. I have been wearing this brand for the past six years.
