Please believe me and all the other reviewers who have said the shoe runs big. THE SHOE RUNS BIG! Like at least a half size big. But I like how it looks so I'm exchanging the 7 1/2 for the 7--just wish it came in N because the smaller size may not work anyway.

These shoes were insanely comfortable - the W made my feet happy. I am returning them because I took other reviewers' advice and sized down, from 7½ to a 7. They are still ginormously big. I am going to order a 6½W.

Cute pumps but they just didn't work for me. The toe area felt great but my heels would slip out as I walked. I felt the shoes were slightly too wide and a half size too big to be comfortable. Sizing down would have made the toes uncomfortable. They also squeaked when I walked on hard surfaces which is quite annoying when working in a quiet accounting firm. I returned them but kept the Clarks Tempt Appeal pumps I ordered, which were true to size and instantly comfortable - not to mention cheaper too!

I usually wear a 5.5 wide but read other reviews saying the shoe ran large. Even the 5 wide was too big!

I very rarely have a problem with shoes being too generously cut, because my feet are size 11 and on the wider side of medium. Nevertheless, I was walking out of these shoes because the 11M's felt at least a half size larger and were too wide at the back of the ankle. It was too bad. They are attractive and would've been perfect for work. (I ordered and returned the black "foil.")

These fit fine. I got the black and while they don't scream "I'm over 40," they do whisper it. I think it's due to the shape on the top by the toes.

Returning these. I have a wide foot and they pinched in the front but the heel was huge. Very strange fit for me. Pretty, though.

I would give these a 3.5 if I could. They really aren't *that* comfortable. They're cute, but I bought them mostly for the reviews about how comfortable they are. They're pretty heavy and inflexible, and I got several blisters the first few times I wore them (I haven't worn them more than that, so I don't know if that will improve). I think a more flexible shoe with a softer leather, even with less cushioning, would be more comfortable in the long run. Buy them if you like the way they look, but if you usually have problems wearing heels, I don't think these are going to the be the magic solution for you.

Cute, comfortable shoe -- but variable sizing. I've tried several in 7W (my normal size) and every pair fits differently. Some are too long, others just right in length but tight across the width. Most are plenty roomy in the width. The higher heeled version of this shoe fit much narrower than any of the low pairs. The materials are good quality, and workmanship has been fine except for one pair will oddly bulgy heel cups. As others have noted, these feel almost like flats, very easy to walk and stand in, lots of support -- once you find a pair that fits.

Beautiful Shoes/Don't Fit These shoes are beautiful, but both the 7W and 7 1/2W are too long. In fact, both pairs seem to be the same size. Are they missed marked or is it a quality control issue? Unfortunately, they're going back. I love the way they look and they'd probably be really comfortable if only they fit...thus the 3 stars.

These run very large. I am typically a 7.5 (for shoes on this site too) and these were too big (length). My heel was slipping out. But the shoe overall is very comfortable. I've ordered a smaller size.

The shoes fit like a t 6 1/2 not a size 6, especially the right shoe. I can walk right out of them. I plan on returning them.

These shoes are cute and look like they would be comfy, but when I put them on I had to double check the box and the shoes themselves to make sure I hadn't been sent a 10.5 instead of a 9.5. They're HUGE and I can't take a single step in them.

Fit was great, felt like walking on clouds. But the left heel is loose in the back - after only wearing them for a few hours! Hope I can get it fixed because they are so stylish and comfortable but disappointed in quality.

My normal size is a 9.5 wide. They are so comfortable but way too wide in the heel. I do NOT have a narrow foot by any means. I have ordered and tried on 9 W, 9.5 W, 8.5 W, and 8 W. The 9.5 W and 9 W fell off my heel when I walked. The 9 was the most comfortable but I could not get it to stay on my heel. I ordered down a full size to 8.5 W and the heel fits and stays on but my toes are squeezed when I walk and stand and are extremely painful. I will be returning these and am so disappointed that I cannot find a size to fit me. I love rockport shoes and they are so comfortable. I was so excited to find a rockport dress heel. But, no luck for me in the fit.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me. My usual 8.5 wide size were way too big: I literally walked out of them. So I returned those and ordered a size 8 wide. Those fit in length but the toe area was way too tight. I've deduced that Rockport may not be the best brand for me.

I got the size 5 and they were humongous; could fit a finger behind each heel! I am usually a 5-5.5 in dress heels/pumps. Not possible to wear and no smaller size is offered, at least not on zappos!

The support was there but the height and width did not work for me. It felt like my foot was arching uncomfortably when I walk.

This shoe is SO very heavy! I've never worn a heel that was so heavy! It would be comfortable, except it feels like you've got to lift your heavy shoe with each step. The footbed is very comfortable. I usually wear a 10.5-11, with a wide-ish toebox and a narrow-ish heel. I tried a 9.5W, 10W, and a 10.5M (based off of the fitting recommendations in the other reviews). None of them worked for me. My heel slid right out... plus the shoe was just too heavy. They're so pretty, and they're comfortable... but apparently we need more in a shoe! I really wanted to love these.

My shoe size has changed over the last several years and with bunions, have difficulty finding comfortable shoes. Purchased a similar shoe at a local department store in a size 9 because 8 was too small. 9 is a little too big, but I can add insoles & they fit pretty well. After reading other reviews that said these run large, I ordered a size 7.5 and a size 8 (which is what I normally wear). Both were too small and has to be returned. I would order your current size and a half size larger & smaller to be sure and return whatever doesn’t work for you. Very nice shoe, though. I’ll just continue wearing what I purchased from the local store.

Ordered half a size down from my normal size based on reviews and it was still too big. Re-ordered in another half size down and couldn't get my foot into the shoe...??? Obviously this isn't the shoe for me. I liked the feel and the look but couldn't get the fit to work out.

This pump would be great if I could actually find one that fits! I started with an 8 narrow but the shoe was way too long. There was about an inch gap in the heel. So I ordered the 7 1/2 and the shoe is too small. Go figure! So sad as the shoe feels comfortable otherwise.

Wanted to love these but the sizing was weird. I loved the heel height, the almond shaped toe and the overall look of the shoe. But I couldn't find a size to fit. I stepped out of my usual size 8.5. The size 8 squished my toes. I tried a heel insert, but that created a .5 inch gap at the heel that looked goofy. I returned them, and I'm trying the Vaneli Laureen.

This shoe runs a whole size too big. I have a narrow size 7 foot. The shoe slipped off my feet until I ordered a size 6. Then the heel was too narrow and uncomfortable. Love the shoe otherwise.

I thought these shoes were going to be the end to my quest for basic black pumps that didn't kill my feet. Nope, the hunt goes on. I'm not sure how, but these shoes managed to feel both too wide and too narrow. They were oddly wide at the arch, and gaped away from my instep on the inside. My heel wouldn't begin to stay in the shoe, and I had a very hard time even keeping them on my feet to walk in my house. At the same time, my foot slid too far forward in the toe of the shoe, smashing my toes and rubbing terribly on my outer three toes. I was surprised at just how wide these shoes looked on my feet. Looking down, I felt like I was wearing Minnie Mouse shoes. I also saw that it showed a LOT of toe cleavage, which didn't look terribly attractive. I often wear clogs and comfort shoes, so I'm not averse to sacrificing some style for comfort, but really felt these were unattractive pumps. The arch and insole in this shoe did feel remarkable. I rarely see this kind of cushioning and arch support in dressy shoes. The heel height and platform were exactly what I was looking for. Disappointed that they fit so poorly. I will continue to look for another pair that fits my feet.
