Love these black boots. Great for me to wear out casually but also to work! Work great with skinny ankle trousers, I wasn't so hot on them with skirts and tights but to each their own. I ordered a six and was nervous they would be a bit tight. And they were, initially when I wore them with thick socks they were tight but like good leather, they stretched out a bit and now fit perfectly! Unfortunately, I guess my particular pair wash't made too well and the stitching is coming out after only a month! :(

These boots are the best all-around, most comfortable boots I own. Very well made, comfortable on first wearing and break in nicely. Am trying hard to resist buying other colors! Love them!

Great boots! Fit fairly true to size. I generally wear a 7, sometimes a 7.5, and kept the 7.5 in these. They are roomy, but prefer a boot fit this way, especially if on the narrow side, which these seem to be somewhat. Meteor gray is a nice neutral color that goes well with everything -- looks great with blacks, browns, and all else. Work nicely with skinny jeans as well as casual dresses. Comfortable right out of the box. Have been asked no less than a dozen times where I got these. Love this boot -- so much so that I just ordered a second pair!

Great boot! I ordered a 1/2 size down (normally a 7 1/2, so I ordered a 7), and am very happy with my purchase. Boot is ever so slightly narrow, but has good arch support. Very well made, and supper classy looking!

This is my new favorite shoe! It fits like a dream, a little tight the first day I wore them, but the leather did stretch slightly. I have always been one to kick off my shoes first thing at the end of the day, but I have found myself not taking these off until bedtime. I am considering buying another pair as backups. I love, love, love them!

I love this boot! It's extremely comfortable and very stylish, in a simple sort of way. So nice to wear with skinny jeans when everyone else is wearing tall boots. I also love them with my trouser jeans.

Beautiful shoe. Nice soft footbed. Runs big. I have a wide foot and usually wear a 9.5. These looked like clown shoes on me.

I really like the classic look, rich color and quality of the leather. And the best part is how comfortable they fit. When worn with long pants, it does resemble a cowboy boot but a very classic look.

These boots are perfect! Simple, adorable and comfortable! Which honestly isn't my biggest concern when boot shopping. Just a huge plus with these already otherwise perfect boots! I have them in the grey which is obviously really a brown color. Planning to get them in black as well!

This is the first pair of boots I have purchased in the last 30 years that are not Frye. But they looked so beautiful I had to try them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bootie! As comfortable as they are beautiful. I ordered my usual size 6 and they fit like they were custom made for me. No break in period for these guys, they are just perfect. Dress them up or dress them down, they are a classic. Ordered another pair in black and can't wait to get those!

These boots were incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on. The arch support is superior. Great casual look. I have ordered a black pair as well and I am not one that buys the same thing in a variety of colors.

These shoes are beautiful. However, the rum-cognac color, while it appears to be a dark grey in the online picture (which is what I was looking for) it is actually a red brown. I’m keeping them though because I like them anyway.

These arrived smaller than my usual size 7. However, I bought the same style in a different color in the same order, and the other color was normal size. After a while I was able to stretch them out with thick socks here and there. Not very comfortable. My feet hurt wearing these after a full day of work. I work on my feet all day on concrete and I have a higher arch than these are made to support. However, there is no room to add a support. Flat footed people, here’s your shoe. The hard material sole makes noise when I walk. I hate that. And after a couple years, the pull loop to assist on putting them on, on the other color shoe came off. It’s weird because that’s the show that actually fit. The material on the top of the shoe has held up great though!

Beautiful shoe and would be very cozy but the toe box was too narrow for me

Nice boots. As with so many shoes in size 11 they were way too wide. Wish they came in narrow.

I have had a pair of leather Velma boots for 2 or 3 years. They have worn extremely well and are reasonably comfortable. There is no padding but the shoe fits well so it is comfortable all day. I ordered both the 6.5 and 7 Velma in gray suede. The boot is very nice looking. However, for some reason the 6.5 was just too tight and the 7 slipped in the heel. I would have tried to made the 7 fit if the insole has been removable, but it is not. I know from experience that if you put foam cushioning on the top of a boot insole, you have a very difficult time keeping it from wrinkling up. Note to shoe manufacturers--make insoles removable so that customers can "custom fit" your shoes. You might have more sales. I had the same problem with some very nice Soffit boots as their insole was not removable.

I purchased the gray suede in this style and love them. I am impressed with the look and quality of these reasonably priced bootie. They are the perfect update to my cold weather wardrobe!

I usually wear a 10M but ordered this in a 10W, and I'm glad that I did. the toe box in a medium would have felt too restrictive with a sock on. I like the color and the suppleness of the suede, i think this will be a favorite this winder. I really like the sole, this feels like the kind of shoes I used to buy good construction, good style and decent price. I like the natural materials a lot.

I’ve been looking for black leather bootie for a while now. They were far more expensive than I wanted to spend BUT I love the boots so far! I’ve only worn them once but they were comfortable right out of the box. Hoping the leather will stretch the more I wear them as they are a bit tight across the top of my foot, but that’s normal for me. If they hold up, will likely look at buying another pair in brown leather.

These are very pretty boots in brown. I liked everything about them except they rubbed on my ankle bones. I have to walk a decent amount at work so I know they would make little blisters. I am returning them but other than the ankle rub they seemed to be very comfortable when I walked around my house in them upon delivery.

Attractive and comfortable, but not sure if they would be comfortable for standing all day long. Hard to justify the price as I was comparing with a similar style from Sperry that cost much less.

New favorite boots very comfortable, easy and well made

I bought these in the red color and they were gorgeous. Unfortunately, they are narrow across the upper foot and didn't have quite enough support. Was sad to send them back. If you don't have any foot problems they will probably be fine, though.

I've owned these boots for over a year and they are my go-to boot. Out of the box, they felt a tad snug, but within 20 mins of walking, they stretched and molded to my feet. They are so comfortable and I can wear them for hours! The only issues I had were the small tab on the back pull off about a month or so in. I think I pulled too hard. I got it repaired and it's been fins every since. The sole is started to gap ever so slightly, but I'm not surprised. I wear these boots (and other pair from Work Ease - Ryder) ALL the time from fall until spring. I love these boots so much, I will take them so the sole can be repaired. Seriously you won't regret buying these boots.
