These are my new favorite boots! I was able to wear them straight out the box and can walk for miles. They look great with skinny jeans and I always receive compliments when I wear them out. I went with the suede and it's very versatile but it does show dirt pretty easily. I may have to buy a pair of cognac too. I found them to run true to size and width.

I am always looking for the ultimate in style and comfort - comfort can be difficult as I have narrow feet and little toleration for anything that binds, pinches, is too sloppy, or can't be worn all day. I read the reviews for Velma and determined the width might be good - and it is. The boot is quite attractive as it looks a little Western, but not. This boot has its own personality. I chose the burgundy and am delighted with their being eye catching and wardrobe-lifting. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair in black. I only wish they were waterproof as the weather in Maine demands that we are always ready for weather challenge. Beyond that, I love that they are casual or dressy!

Very well made. I wanted an ankle boot that wasn't too large around the ankle. These are perfect. I am a size 7.5-8. I ordered a 7.5. They are a little small to wear with socks. So maybe order a half size larger than ordinarily. They are very nice looking and very well made. They did stretch a tiny bit.

I had never heard of Kork-Ease when I spotted these boots on a different website, but they were out of stock in the size/color I wanted. Zappos to the rescue! I'm a size 10, so I was bit nervous after reading the reviewers who said they had to go up a half size... not really an option for us size-10 gals. (Like really though, what DO you do if you are size 10.5?? I see 11 in stock way more often.) Anyway, when I saw there was only one pair left in my size I figured it was destiny and snapped it up. I agree that they are snug but for me, not uncomfortably so, and I can mitigate by wearing a thinner sock. I wore them for the first time, just out to run errands, nothing too ambitious, and I found myself wishing I had more places to go so I could walk in these more. They are great. My feet feel supported, and the soles do not slip on smooth floors. And I already feel like the initial stiffness is going away. The heels do make sound when you take a step, but not super loud, and I think that's normal for any boots. VERY happy with my purchase and feeling lucky that I found these when I did!

I loved these immediately...they are gorgeous. They are a lot more expensive than I would typically spend, but after purchasing (and returning) several other brands, I am very happy with this purchase. The quality is such that they will last for a long time. I usually run between an 8.5 and 9. I ended keeping the size 9 in these shoes to accommodate wearing socks in the winter.

Beautiful shoes, look great, really well made. Just way too narrow for me. And the leather doesn't have much give in it, so I don't think the shoes will stretch. Returning.

By far, the best boots ever. So comfortable and stylish. I lived in these for most of the winter, handled well in snowy/rainy conditions. True to size.

I love these boots so much that I bought the brown and the black. They were perfect with pants all winter long. They felt the tiniest bit narrower than medium width, but my feet are a tiny bit wider than medium and it was not an issue at all. Plus, they have nice arch support. I strongly recommend these boots!

These boots are exactly what I wanted! I wear them all the time. They have been comfortable from day one. Great buy. I will definitely buy more shoes from this brand.

I bought this boot last winter and wore them nearly every day, and one year later, they still look great. Everyone is correct that these boots feel great right out of the box and stay that way all day. I bought them on a reduced price but if Kork-ease still makes them when mine wear out, I'll probably pay full price to get them again.

While I was waiting for an 8 to return in stock, I ordered a 7 1/2 to try the size. Turned out they are a bit narrow but true to size. The color of the 7 1/2 was accurate, however; when I was finally able to try the 8, the color was noticeably smoother and shinier than the shown picture. Both boxes stated the same color, Black, and model number so I'm not sure why the difference. Can't help but think one was 'Black' and the other 'Black 2'. Regardless, the 8 fits and I'm keeping it because I'll never find it in stock again! I have very high arches and these feel like they will be fine without an insert. Overall, happy with the shoe.

I love these! I have a narrow heels and ankles. I tried on many ankle boots before finding these. They are worth the extra money!

Love these shoes! Cute, comfortable, and well made. I'm always either an 8.5 or 9, and the 8.5 fit great.

These boots are wonderful. I put them on, and walked out the door. After an hour of city walking, they still felt fine.The sizing seems good-I am usually a size 9, and that's what I bought. I expected the boots to be more snug around the ankle, but they are a bit roomy. I don't think it detracts from how cute they are.They are comfortable and easy.

Cute casual bootie. Feels slightly large, but I can wear with thick socks this winter. Been wearing all day and they are very comfortable.

I wanted a boot that was stylish yet could withstand some city walking. The leather is very high quality. The fit is perfect. They just keep getting better as I wear them.

These boots are perfect for my needs in the rainy Pacific Northwest, although I will need to get a rubber sole added, as the sole is not completely waterproof. This is easy to do at my local cobbler. These boots do run a bit big, as I typically wear a womens 10½ or a 42 in European sizes. The 10 fits me perfectly and they are incredibly comfortable. There is even enough room to add my Superfeet insoles.

I love these booties. I was a little skeptical about ordering them but based on the comments I ordered in the size that I normally wear and one half a size smaller. I have narrow feet and was worried my regular size would be a bit big. It was. So I did end up ordering half a size smaller. The arch support is really nice and I love the way they look with my jeans!
