I really wished I didn't like these wonderful booties. I have been trying them out indoors for a week now and they are a keeper. My foot is narrow and they fit great. Not great arch support but the rest is wonderful

In the two weeks since this boot arrived in my life, it is safe to say I have become a little obsessed. I can't remember the last time I was this jazzed about new shoes. I practically wear them to bed! I was on the hunt for a versatile, low-heeled bootie that would work with jeans or leggings for the weekend, business casual pants at work, dresses and tights, and everything else. Ladies, MEET VELMA! I originally intended to buy this in the dark brown color, but ended up deciding on black, and I'm glad I did. While I am really more of a brown lover, the black here is just the perfect soft shade that doesn't read stark or harsh (in certain lights it looks dark brown) but because it is black, there is no color I can't wear these with. I see conflicting reviews about the width, so let me just say that I have a relatively wide foot (though not enough to require wide styles in most shoes). When I first got these and tried them on (in my normal 9.5 and regular width), they were tight enough that I worried they were going to be too narrow and squeeze painfully. That has NOT been the case. Over the course of just a couple hours wear in the house, they stretched and conformed perfectly to my foot. These have not caused me one iota of pain, and I live in NYC and walk/bike miles every day. I have been wearing them with jeans, leggings, jeggings, tights and dresses... they look great with EVERYTHING I try them with and they really class up the joint! I often worry that booties make my feet look big, but I don't feel self-conscious in these, I think because they are just so good looking overall. Even if my feet do look big (and I don't think they do), it's OK because this is a gorgeous boot. Could not recommend these more highly! If you are in the market for a gorgeous, walkable boot, this is a truly outstanding choice.

Surprisingly comfortable. I really wanted to keep this boot because they're extremely comfortable and beautiful, but my feet are too wide (these are of typical width).

These boots are just amazing! I've had mine for over a year now, and wear them ALL the time. They've held up fantastically, and are so comfortable even if I'm walking all day. They look super cute with some skinny jeans, or with leggings and a skirt/ dress. I can't say enough good things about these boots!

Great boots! I don't usually spend this much on a pair of shoes, but these are worth every last penny. Stylish, comfortable from the first wearing, and very well made. I expect to wear them for years to come.

I love this boot! I wish I could keep it but I am looking for burgundy and these are definitely dark brown. They are so comfortable and versatile! Please, please Kork-Ease-come out with burgundy ones soon!

I usually wear a 7 - 7.5, and the 7.5 was a perfect fit in these boots. I have a high arch and have no problems slipping these on and off. The insole is nicely cushioned and has a bit of arch support. I have a narrow foot, so I don't think they would work if you have a wide foot. They've become my "go to" boots whenever I go out. I like them better than my Frye's!

Once again, Kork-Ease makes a really comfortable cool classic in awesome colors. Love these boots - boom!

Out of the box comfortable! These are stylish, and the heel height makes this boot very walkable. I am impressed with the padding in the sole, and these boots are of a a good quality. I feel I'll get to be friends with them for a very long time!

As others have said, these boots are super comfortable right out of the box. I'm bringing them on a trip and have no doubts they will be perfect. True to size.

I researched this type of bootie and the Kork-Ease Velma was highly rated. Armed with that info and sizing up half a size, I bought a size 6. With thick socks, these fit very well. When the hot weather cools, I know that I will be wearing these Velmas often!

Love these boots! They have a comfy footbed and fit true to size. I purchased the tan color and it's just a nice soft tan color that will go with a lot of things in my closet. The price point is a little high for a very basic looking bootie but this style was what I was looking for.

I was looking for ankle booties to wear this fall and these fit the bill! Super comfortable, just the right height, great neutral color. I waffle between a 9.5 and 10 and ended up trying both and sticking with the 10 so there was a bit more wiggle room for socks in the winter.

I found these cute boots comfortable right out of the box. I can wear them all day and not even notice them. Not only are they comfortable, but very cute (I get lots of compliments). The color goes with everything! Please note that I have very little arch to my foot, so I chose the "moderate" option on this review.

These are adorable boots, very well made with good cushioning and nice leather. Technically, I need a 10.5 N in shoes, and I have a low arch. Many 10's fit if they run long and narrow, but these weren't quite long enough. The 11's would be way too big overall. I'm so sad I have to return them!

The Kork-Ease Velma is classy in style and in good enough in comfort. I had ankle surgery a year ago and was worried that the support would not be enough and the heel might be too high. I can say they are actually perfect. I feel confident walking the city in these boots. And, the amount of compliments I've gotten is a bit of a bonus too.

Love these boots! They fit well, as they hug your foot, but not pinch. Some boots fit, but are kind of big all over. The other style design that makes this boot perfect for me is that the boot does not cut you at the shin bone when you bend your ankle to walk. They look great with everything. I would recommend them for comfort and style.

These are expensive. But I've had them for a week, and worn them every day and they are hands-down the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

These are beautiful but they run a half size large! I would have loved to order and keep the 9.5 but they're out of stock. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Other than the sizing, they are lovely and very comfortable right out of the box!

Love these black boots. Great for me to wear out casually but also to work! Work great with skinny ankle trousers, I wasn't so hot on them with skirts and tights but to each their own. I ordered a six and was nervous they would be a bit tight. And they were, initially when I wore them with thick socks they were tight but like good leather, they stretched out a bit and now fit perfectly! Unfortunately, I guess my particular pair wash't made too well and the stitching is coming out after only a month! :(

These boots are the best all-around, most comfortable boots I own. Very well made, comfortable on first wearing and break in nicely. Am trying hard to resist buying other colors! Love them!

Great boots! Fit fairly true to size. I generally wear a 7, sometimes a 7.5, and kept the 7.5 in these. They are roomy, but prefer a boot fit this way, especially if on the narrow side, which these seem to be somewhat. Meteor gray is a nice neutral color that goes well with everything -- looks great with blacks, browns, and all else. Work nicely with skinny jeans as well as casual dresses. Comfortable right out of the box. Have been asked no less than a dozen times where I got these. Love this boot -- so much so that I just ordered a second pair!

Great boot! I ordered a 1/2 size down (normally a 7 1/2, so I ordered a 7), and am very happy with my purchase. Boot is ever so slightly narrow, but has good arch support. Very well made, and supper classy looking!

This is my new favorite shoe! It fits like a dream, a little tight the first day I wore them, but the leather did stretch slightly. I have always been one to kick off my shoes first thing at the end of the day, but I have found myself not taking these off until bedtime. I am considering buying another pair as backups. I love, love, love them!
