I loved this shoe and really wanted it to work! It is a beautiful and well made shoe and was exactly what I was looking for. However, as others have mentioned, the toe area feels quite narrow and it really just ended up being too uncomfortable. If you have narrow feet than I am sure it will be a great shoe for you.

I wore these the first day right out of the box to a Mardi Gras parade and walked at least six miles. They were great! No break in time, good support, and styled perfect with skinny jeans. I'm usually a 9.5, narrow. So I ordered up to a 10. They are so comfortable and cool.

I absolutely love the sleek style of this boot. Not clunky at all. It is very well made so it adds to its beautiful look. My only complaint is that they are a bit narrow (I have skinny feet!) I am hoping they loosen up, otherwise I plan on stretching them at home. Worth it, but it will take a little work to make them comfy.

The Rum/Cognac Full Grain photo is not the correct color or leather type. What I received was a smooth leather in a rusty-orange color but the name on the box had, "Rum/Cognac Full Grain," so I think the photo is incorrect.

I am someone who very carefully researches their shoe options before buying, and this bootie was far and away the best choice. Happy to say they fit perfectly and look AWESOME. I didn't even need to break them it, they were perfect from the second I put them on. I wore them walking all over Switzerland for nine days and my feet didn't hurt at all (they do fit a nice wool sock, too). I've now had them for two months and wear them several times per week. I do have to say I have had a major issue with them though - they are leather bottomed and the sole is peeling away from the shoe. I called Zappos to see if they would send a new pair, but they were sold out of my size! And now I can't find them anywhere. I was refunded the full price, however, and Zappos Customer Service (shout out to Kira in Las Vegas), was incredibly helpful. Word to the wise, DO NOT wear these in very wet conditions. I am willing to bet that over exposure to water was the reason for the separation. (Not that I jumped around in puddles, but it does rain unexpectedly and snow does melt).

These are lovely shoes. I have terrible feet, but I felt OK in these. I have the gray suede. The toe box is definitely narrow which can get uncomfortable. I bought my normal shoe size, and I can only wear them with very thin socks, so I'd recommend you go up a half size at least if you want to wear warmer or thicker socks. I wore these for a day before flying and changed shoes before my flight because of the narrowness. I knew they would be too tight to travel in. There isn't a ton of support, so if you're looking for a shoe that can take an orthodic insole or that will feel like walking on pillows, this is not it. They have a very slim profile which I definitely liked. If you're going for a dapper or dandy kind of look, these don't really look like men's shoes. The soles have very little grip, so I don't wear them much in the winter, and after just one time out the soles were really scuffed up.

Color totally different than photo. In photo this gorgeous shoe is a dark brown suede, but in person was a brown leather. Liked it but wasn’t what I was intending.

I purchased these in October and within 5 months the sole came off.

Easy to break in which is good for my chubby feet. Easy to get on and off. They got the coloring perfect. They’re so rich and beautiful. They have no support and the soles came off after one continuous fall/winter season. I wear them out to dinner and drinks, not for a ton of walking. I will keep gluing them back together bc they truly are so pretty and look even better with a patina. I’ll see if I can get them re-soled professionally. This is a review I started when I bought them and I’m just coming back to it so the scoring might look higher than my comments reflect. Couldn’t change it.

I have had these boots for 5 or more years now. I have worn them for work and travel. I live in the midwest and wear them fall through spring. They have been all over London and have racked up plenty of miles. A personal best was set December 2022 of 20,000 steps. They are one of my 3 go to travel shoes for me because they are reliably comfortable and can be dressed up or worn casually. My feet are never sore with these boots. I hope they never get discontinued.

Loved the style and quality of these boots. Unfortunately, I sometimes have issues with an old injury on the top of my foot and these boots aggrevated the problem, so will be returning.

Good looking and comfortable immediately. Use them for work, where I walk a bit and am up and down flights of stairs. No problems.

They felt a little tight over the instep initially but after wearing a couple of times, that feeling has subsided. I like the classic design and that they are just pull-on with no zippers.

I have had these boots for 4+ years now. I absolutely love them. I wear them to work, out and about and pretty much all over London on vacation many times (my record is 7 miles walking in these boots on a day of sightseeing). Clearly they are comfortable for all day wear. They are a classic style, and I hope they are never discontinued. They still look great; I even got a compliment on them at work today. They are worth every penny. I am actively trying to not get more colors. (I do have other shoes by this brand, and they are just great too).

First time buyer on this brand bootie. I have a narrow foot and was tiny bit loose but with sick is perfect. Very cute and comfortable.

These fit well and were comfortable out of the box. I get a lot of compliments on them. I can wear them standing or walking for hours without issue.

Love this style and feel. Pebbled black leather adds a little more texture and comfortable look. Definitely wearable with black and brown because of the sole color.

Love the look of these boots. I've worn the same boots in a different color for years and so glad I bought another pair. Comfortable, but they do take a day or two to break in.

I loved these! But they were a bit too tight and a bit too heavy. I was hoping they would be softer leather. The style is awesome. If Zappos has something like these but in a softer leather, please let me know! And not too high a heel! (I turned 84 yesterday).

I loved these boots!! They are quality made and the leather was a beautiful color. Sadly they did not fit the width of my foot. I generally wear a Wide width boot but occasionally a Medium width does fit. I had hoped this would be the case with the Kork Ease Velma. My friend has several pair and she highly recommended. I ordered in hopes since it does not come in Wide...but alas, would not work.

These are my second pair (different color) because they are that great! They have a nice arch support and good cushion which allows walking for hours on end, AND no break-in necessary. I bought these knowing that I could wear them out of the box for a busy walking vacation. My first pair still look great after wearing them for several years. This bootie is versatile and can be dressed up or down. They are true to size but if in doubt go 1/2 size up as they are snug fitting. The leather and construction is of quality!

They feel a little snug to me, but I think that's more to do with the style of the shoe than the shoe itself. Since this shoe doesn't have the traditional visible webbing of a chelsea boot, I think it's just a little more snug fit. Overall, super comfortable, though! These are gorgeous shoes. They look lux and professional. Whether you're going to a femme look or more dapper, you get a really streamlined look. I bought the gray suede, and I'm really thinking about getting a pair in leather, too. I have on-going pain from a previous fracture, and these shoes have a great feeling of support right away.

Really nice boot. The color, finish and style all look great. I found these to be comfortable, but the arch support on one side did hit my foot in a strange place - might just be my feet. I'll be returning these only because I liked the Kork-Ease Ryder boot better. The two boots look very similar, but the Velma is slightly wider mid-foot and a bit more casual looking.
