Ordered this boot yesterday it came today. Like many of the reviews say, it is a very cute boot, pretty black leather, not over the top I can see wearing it all the time once fall arrives. Alas, for me, it is too small in my size. I have a narrow heel, high arch, wide fore foot...felt too tight from the arch through the front...I have the next size ordered, it is out of stock...I know it will be too long. Rats! If only it came in a little bit wider width. Really wanted to keep it but will be sending it back.

Unfortunately I had to return these beautiful shoes. Due to thick ankles and calves I could not even get these shoes zipped all the way up. So sad, love Mephistos

These boots are very attractive. Unfortunately for me they didn't work out. I wear a 9.5 - 10. Only the 9.5 was available so I took a chance. They fit 'short' and I returned them. I had expected the sole to be a little thicker. I think even if they had fit I would have returned them because of that. I need the extra padding in shoes now.

I wanted to love these boots so much, but after wearing them around the house for several days (on carpet, hardwood, tile), it just wasn't going to happen. ?? The leather is beautiful and the style is great. But my bunion just wasn't happy. I'm so sorry that I have to send these back. I don't mind the cost as long as the shoe/boot feels comfortable, but when it doesn't... Not blaming the boots, btw, I'm blaming my foot.

I was very disappointing by the fit and actual look these shoes. I was tempted by the video and the reviews, and was willing to pay much more than I had planned, but these shoes were plain looking and simply uncomfortable for me. Nothing special about them and definitely not worth the price tag.

These boots have the zipper on the outside of your foot, not the inside like most boots. This makes them more challenging to zip up, particularly if you have any mobility or wrist issues.

For the price, I expected the boot quality to be much better than it was. I was looking for something special, but unfortunately, there was nothing all that special about these boots. I had to return it because my feet couldn't even fit in the size 36.5, and I am usually a size 6. Granted, the quality of the leather was nice...but just not worth this much money.

I like the look of the boot, but they are not comfortable. There is no arch support. The support instead seems to be in the heel and it is hard and uncomfortable. Unbelievable that a boot for this price is so uncomfortable. So disappointing!

I would have loved these if I didn't received a defective pair. I own a number of Mephisto shoes and this is the first one I have complains about. The toe of the left boot is significantly and awkwardly higher than the right one's. I would try to get another pair and see how it works.

Warning for LATEX allergy sufferers. This brand uses latex insoles in all of their shoes. There is nothing wrong with this boot, other than it has latex in it and I have a bad latex allergy and had no idea that latex was in them. Zappos was AMAZING and refunded me. Thank you, Zappos! But I wanted anyone else with an allergy to know.
