I absolutely love the Mephisto S,eddy black leather booties! These are my 4th pair of Mephisto boots because they are the most comfortable boots for my problem feet from fallen arches. They are also super cute & stylish. I am so happy that I discovered the Mephisto brand as they are going to keep my feet feeling good for the entire day. I normally wear an 8 M but I like the 8.5 M in these so I can wear socks & I sometimes have a little swelling in my feet. I also have these in the black suede because when I placed my first order the black leather was not available in my size. I love them both but the leather boots look dressier & the suede looks more casual. I think anyone with problem feet would be amazed at how comfortable your feet will feel in these!!

Beautiful leather - soft, color; beautiful style. I wear a size 9 but the 39 is too small. Toe is a little pointy. May reorder in a 40.

I know, pricey, but these booties hug your foot in comfort and provide great ankle support too. I purchased my usual 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I am sure I will wear them all the time, they make me smile when I put them on. Well worth the money and Mephisto will resole and repair for a fee which is great, I like when a company stands by their product.

Beautiful boot! I would have kept it in a heartbeat if it had fit, but it ran small and a larger size was not available. So back it goes. Thanks for your great service!

Lovely, comfortable, stylish "go to" boot. Well made with quality leather, sole and zipper. I found them more comfortable after wearing them a couple of times and I had adjusted to them from my previous brand boots. They are expensive so I had to save up to purchase them. I'm very pleased! Zappos was stellar as always.

Wow factor! They are much prettier on than in the photo. I have the black leather Seddys and love them. I expected to be wearing these a lot this fall. Very comfortable and stylish. I would prefer that the zipper be on the inside but I guess it's something new to try. They are a bit harder to get on with the zipper being on the outside.

These boots are a dream! I initially got a 36, my typical Euro size, but I was sliding all around in them. I downsized to a 35½ and I am so glad that I did! Although the outside zipper can be a little awkward, it adds to the style. The inside lining is so soft and the arch support is way better than anything else that I have found. I wish that they came in a deep brown color too!

Classy and comfortable. Excellent quality. Soft leather. I have sensitive feet that need cushion and soft leather but hate "old lady" shoes. No sacrifice of style for comfort here. Highly recommend.

I have these boots in the brown and absolutely love them. I have been wearing them for about a year and they are my go-to boot for both work and casual with slacks or jeans. I ordered them in black on an impulse (thank you Zappos for the great free shipping and free return policy). These boots are beautiful. The leather is buttery soft and the boots are so well-made that you will never want to wear any other low boot again. However, I decided that this girl doesn't need both pairs of boots. The black is very elegant, but for me the brown works better. My only complaint is that I wish Mephisto made these in a W width. I spent a couple of weeks breaking in the brown pair to accommodate my bunions and it would be so nice not to have to go through that process. But overall, I highly recommend these boots for fashion, fit, construction and comfort. Spend the bucks. These boots are worth it.

Best shoes ever! I ordered a spare for when these wear out. Most comfortable boot I ever owned. They feel like they're made for my feet. Custom! No break in time needed.

This is a pricey boot, more than I would normally spend but I had a pair of Mephiso shoes that I just loved and decided to try these boots. That are fantastic! Fit great, very comfortable, and look nice on. Well worth the price.

These boots are just super cute! The only reason I ordered them was because I like Mephisto shoes and needed a short boot. I didn't like the looks of them and was sure I would be returning them. What a nice surprise!

Beautiful boots and extremely comfortable. The leather is soft and an excellent quality. Expensive but totally worth it. May even consider the Black pair for Christmas.

I said I couldn't pay this much but after trying the less expensive alternatives, here I am. It's a great shoe which I fit my slightly narrow heel and slightly wide forefoot. And there's enough cushion for the ball of my foot which needs the extra padding. The removable foot bed allow me to put in arch support. I am in love. I highly recommend.

Second try, one size up because my size is too narrow in the medium width this boot comes in...so the 10 fits fine but not happy with the grey color...sending back hoping to get a black pair...why doesn't Mephisto make a wider shoe? please make your shoes in wide Mephisto.

I ordered many pairs of boots before I found these - perfect! The leather is heavenly soft, attractive, and the boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. My foot is a bit wide in front, and the fit is just right. They look stylish under pants as well as when the full boots shows. A pleasant surprise: they fit under straight jeans. Note that the size chart on Zappos' Mephisto shoes, right now, is inaccurate (it would have saved me a few returns to know this): 39 is not a US 9; it is the same European 39 it always was (US 8-8 1/2).

Amazing boots. Like other reviewers, I hesitated buying at first because of the price. My patience (indecision?) was rewarded when Zappos offered them for 30% off on "Cyber Monday". The leather is top grain, the style is spot on and classic, and they were immediately comfortable. Worth every penny.

Love these boots! Very comfortable, they hug your feet. I put them on and started walking, no break in required. I ordered 1/2 size up, they fit perfectly with medium weight socks. Look really nice on too! :)

These boots are great looking and the leather is very luxurious. They look good with long skirts and most any pants. However, I do not get the "fit like a glove" comfort I have with the Mephisto Helen sandals. I did a lot of research before I bought these. They are a little out of my price range, even for Mephisto. I figured if they fit as well as the footbed on the Helen's fit, it would be well worth the price. Unfortunately, these were not as comfortable from the beginning. I wore them a few times and was disappointed with the fit and comfort. I wear a 10.5 but normally end up with an 11, which is slightly big. These 11 sized boots were tight out of the box. I should have returned them immediately, but chose to keep them thinking they might need breaking in. I have worn them a total of 5 times and they continue to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn in a long time. They will have to go back!

Beautiful, soft leather that feels good at the ankle. I finally decided to return them, because they packet a little toe room, and I prefer a flatter boot. I am happy with the all-black look, but like the feel of my current boots better.
