I sent them back. They look nice but are difficult to pull on and my feet were sore after an hour of wearing them due to no arch support.

I find these boots to be warm and cozy in frigid temps but I don't know about this "ice pick technology" they boast of. Wearing these shoes on snowy and icy roads is similar to wearing freshly washed socks on a newly waxed floor. They do extremely well to grip the sidewalk, but add a layer of ice and snow and I immediately feel like I'm skiing (I don't ski). It cannot be the way I walk either, because even my most mincing steps make me slip and slide like a newborn foal. North Face, indeed. South Face more like, because that's the direction your face will firmly go if you try walking on snow and ice in these boots.

These were really cute. Too bad I couldn't easily get my foot into them. The angle is off and the bungee cord didn't open any more to get any leverage to allow my foot to easily slide into them. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

Okay, I got these after Oklahoma had a serious snow/ice storm. My poor feet were freezing. I was so excited to get these, but I could not even get my foot in...they need a zipper or something. I thought maybe it was just me. So I had my 17 year old daughter try them on...and she could not get her foot in either. So they are going back!

These boots were adorable but extremely uncomfortable! I wanted to love them but had to return them because once I walked in them for several minutes they were painful. The front of the boot is actually much narrower than it appears and scrunches your toes. The side of the boot is reinforced with a thick material so they do not have much give. The entire fit caused me great discomfort--something is just off with the way this boot is constructed. A big disappointment from North Face whose boots I have found so comfortable in the past. The Zappos customer service team was excellent in response to my dissatisfaction with this purchase though.

Ordered these and received in Zappos fashion - quick! But wish would have taken notes of the reviews...way too small! Thought when I opened the box that I had ordered a kids size. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in women's. Going to return and look on Zappos site for an alternate selection. Pay attention to the reviews on this one. Run way too small!

I was really hoping these boots would work out because I can only wear lightweight shoes. I could not walk in these boots. The heel is lower than the ball of the foot. The way the sole is designed, it is stiff and hard to walk on. Will be sending it back.

These were a huge disappointment. The quality of material seemed so cheap and there is no way they would have kept me warm in the Midwest!
