After trying about 12 pairs of boots that would not fit my big calves or wide feet, and I finally found this. It is not vegan, it has down, but the vegan ones did not fit me in some way or my size was not available. These boots are super light weight, very comfortable to walk, but after a long day with no support it makes you a little tired. There is an elastic inside that holds your ankle , and that is hurting me a little bit since I have wider ankles, but then, I had to settle for this. For people with no wide anything problem, it's a great boot. Hope they will make them with no animals in the future so I come back for more. I also dipped them in 3 inches puddles jumping slush, and no leakage at all, so they are approved! The best vegan one in case you're into it is the Kamik Vienna.

Very happy with these. I wear a 7 1/2 and the 8 is perfect. Very warm and comfy with bottom treads to help with our slippery Michigan winters. Keep in mind that they are water resistant, not waterproof. Good purchase. As usual The North Face rocks.

Wonderful boots! Comfortable, warm, practical, with safe flat soles and so lightweight! I had an older, similar pair which I finally wore out. I loved those boots because I could just pull them on. These have a more sophisticated design (the brown is a taupe-y fabric) with, thank goodness, none of the pink details of the older model. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 to accommodate my wide feet. For this boot, I ordered a 10 to make sure that I could wear a Thorlo sock and also to make sure they were easy to slip on. They are super comfy and so, so warm. I hate winter but I really love these boots!

Runs really narrow and small. I really struggled to get on, but once on the size 8 felt ok. But because they were so hard to put on (tight in the ankles) and overall felt tight, I am returning them. They are nice, very light weight, but just not good for me.

Warm but minimal arch support. The toes were so curved upwards it felt like I was walking on rocking chairs. That was a very weird feeling. I am returning them.

NOT WATER PROOF!!! walking in fresh fallen snow my feet were soaked and frozen. Buy these boots for fashion only! there is truly no function unless as an indoor slipper then, yes, you will be warm, comfy and cozy.

I am a size 8 and orders a size 9. Good fit and comfy.

I love this boot! Easy to get on and easy to get off. I wear a size 8 and I ordered an 8. They fit very good. I have not worn them in hard core snow and ice, only very cold weather. They are very warm and cozy, no double socks needed for warmth. I will be buying a second pair. I purchased the ivory color and really like it.

These are very cute and very comfortable. They are well made. I am a 9 ½ usually and went for a 10 in these and they feel great.

These are very light shoes (but also warm!) The fit is good, but there is no arch support at all. Best part is that they take no effort to slip on!

I simply loved them! I took them to Utah just a week ago - they are light, warm and kept my feet dry! They also do not require much space in luggage. These are very cool booties!

I purchased these as a gift for my mother last year. They are absolutely her favorite boots ever. She is 75 years old, but more active than me! We live in the Windy City of Chicago, and she weathered the storm with no hazel in these boots. She is amazed by how thin they are but yet they kept her feet dry and warm and so comfortable. She would love a pair for my dad. But they are not as stylish for him! I am going to buy different North Face boots for my dad this year. I hope to get the same feed back from him on his boots. North Face, please do not let me down!

VERY happy with these little boots! I wear an 8, ordered an 8 and they were perfect. Easy to slip on and off and keep my feet extra warm here in Minnesota. Won't wear in heavy snow - but in and out for errands and quick drive trips - exactly what I needed. Good traction on slightly snowy sidewalks, but probably will not tempt on anything really icy. Have heavier snow boots for those times.

I love these boots! I wanted an easy off and on that would keep my feet warm and dry in Michigan winters. These are fairly easy to put on (bit of tugging necessary) and have kept me very warm during our exceptionally cold winter weather! I go out for Kindergarten recess and am able to tromp through the snow and slush without fear of cold, wet, feet for the rest of the day! I like that snow slides right off these, so I am not bringing snow indoors with me. The one negative is very little support. As someone earlier said, it feels like you are wearing slippers. I was skeptical about them keeping my feet dry, but so far so good!

I just got back from a trip to Iceland and took these boots on their first proper outing. Could not be more pleased. Weather there went from snow to sleet to driving rain to sun and back again and the boots remained dry and comfortable all day. Sole has good grip that handled everything but the ice on a downhill walk (I hung on to a railing). The top has a toggle that keeps it close around your lower leg so nothing gets in, which was an advantage in the difficult conditions. Comfortable insole with moderate support, plenty of room for (lighter) wool socks and the toes on my wider feet to wiggle.

I bought these for my 90 year old mom. We live in a snowy, cold climate. She had Uggs but they were heavy. She loves these - easy on and off - warm, and light.

My 13 year old daughter loves these cute boots that complement her new North Face jacket for wet/snowy weather. She is my size now and I love them too.

These are great little boots for running around. They slip on easily and keep my feet warm in Chicago winter. They are flat bottomed - no arch support. Cute and functional for cold, sloppy days.

I love these boots! I personally think that snow boots are just all around hideous and these were the closest I got to picking decent ones. It snows so much in my area that I feel like I'm always ice skating around and these are great for slippery ice. I also love that they're lightweight and don't feel like an ogre stomping around.

I love these boots. I can not believe I waited so long to get them. I paid full price but it was worth it as they are comfortable, warm and just right for the type of weather we are having. I got my regular shoe size. At first I thought this was too small but have been wearing them and are very comfortable.

Had purchased these last year for Michigan snow storms, and am so happy I did. Feet stay cozy and warm. Not the most stylish boot for fashionistas, but great for shoveling snow, hiking in the woods and keeping feet dry as the snow melts and turns to slush. A definite must have for harsh winters.

I had an earlier version of these boots a few years ago. I wore them for years. The only problem with the old ones was they weren't very waterproof. They fixed that problem here by adding a taller rubber part on the side and making the material water resistant. These boots are great. Pull right on, extremely warm, so light it feels like you're just wearing socks. Look good with skinny jeans and leggings.
