These shoes started out great. Very comfortable and fit great. They started allowing water to get in after a month. That was a huge disappointment because the waterproof feature was the biggest thing behind buying this shoe. Then after two months the soles wore out. I don't mean wore down a little bit or worn smooth. I literally have holes in the soles on both shoes. I admit I am hard on shoes but I have never completely destroyed a pair of shoes like this even after 6 months or more. Also the insole is pretty flimsy and up near the toes it is shredding apart. That would be an easy enough fix to replace but what's the point. Two months and these shoes are getting trashed. Don't buy these shoes if unless you have a desire to buy 6 pairs a year.

I loved these shoes until the soles split 4½ months after I bought them. Both feet. Not a horrible price, but I would like to get a year out of a pair of shoes.

DO NOT BUY THESE. These are the second pair of this shoe that I have owned, and the seam between the sole and the leather completely tore and failed within 2 MONTHS. The first time I thought perhaps I just got a bad pair. Zappos was kind enough to replace them. And the second pair failed in even less time. They are very comfortable when they get broken in, but the design is just flawed. Look elsewhere

Very comfortable, my every day shoe now. I like the slightly scuffed look these shoes get. Look like a well-loved piece of leather. Food tastes better when wearing these shoes. Before I got these shows my dog hated me and tried to bite me, but now she cuddles up and thinks I'm God.

These shoes look fantastic, and were very comfortable at first. However, they very quickly wore down and became: not water proof, crooked soled, and worn to the point that they couldn't worn comfortably for any length of time. I am very disappointed. i have purchased Rockport brand shoes for around 25 years. I have watched and experienced the reduction in material quality over the years. These are the lowest quality Rockport shoes that I have ever owned. I am sad to say that this pair will be my last pair of Rockports.

I normally wear 8 1/2 EEE but I selected 9 W (EE) and the fit was correct. Very comfortable and needed little break in time.

These are my everyday go to work shoes. They are comfortable for wide feet. Stylish enough for "business casual." Work well in rain and light snow. Scuff easily, but that's part of the look for these shoes.

Good sturdy shoe. Not real strong arch support, but I think that's the standard for Rockport shoes - so they are exactly as I expected.

Please ignore this if you are looking for a long-term review. I bought a 12W. This shoe is very low-volume, particularly across the top of the foot. If that doesn't mean anything to you, you probably don't have anything to worry about. The wide version of the shoe is quite clownish - wide and flat.

Second pair of these shoes Zappos. I love them. They are well made, have simple classic look, have width options, and are solid comfortable.

Fantastic. Bought them in November 2014, they finally bit the dust in Spring of 2017 after heavy wear in 8 seasons and several trips to wet climates. I'd ground the soles flat in the forefoot and at the flex point of the forefoot, the sole had come unglued from the upper. Yes, it looks stitched but it's glued in place. Reasonably warm in winter with the right socks, waterproof and as stylish as you'd expect with this kind of shoe. I highly recommend them.

Great pair of shoes. I've been buying Merrell's lately, but I wanted a shoe that wasn't dressy, but looked like I work in the office, not out in the field. These are it. I narrowed it down to 5 pair from Rockport, then let my 15 yr. old daughter pick the winner.

I bought these shoes to wear during wet weather. They are exactly what I needed.

Great pair of shoes. This is my second pair of Rockports and they make an amazing shoe. I have been looking for a black pair of casual shoes that were comfortable and these are it.

I've put these shoes through 8-9 months of daily use in various weather conditions, so this review is focused on durability. The TPR outsoles have held up well and still have plenty of tread after an estimated 250 miles of walking on a combination of paved roads and easy trails. The grip of this material is good. I've shoveled snow on a modest grade with these shoes and felt pretty steady. The only minor annoyance has been that gravel can sometimes get caught in between the treads due to their spacing. The seams and leather have maintained their waterproofing. Overall this is an excellent shoe for people who need something that looks decent in most settings and can handle adverse conditions.

These are very well built shoes. I just ordered my third pair. My last pair lasted a year of me wearing them almost every day, and the soles finally wore down. Nothing ever comes apart, and water does not get in. I like the smooth toe design, and the combination of being rugged and weather-ready yet also professional looking.

This shoe is very comfortable and fits perfectly with my orthotics. I found it to be about a half size larger than usual so sized down a half size.

Very nice weekend shoe. Most comfortable with my own insertable arch supports. I usually take a half size larger in Rockports but these run 1/2 size big. Recommend.

Bought these shoes for work after heading to Nordstroms and other stores where there were only a fair selection. Zappos had an enormous selection and the shoes arrived in just a few days. The size was true to fit, and there was no rise in the heels as I deals with in other shoes From day one they were very comfortable as I walk on concrete floors all day long. They also are easy to go from the workplace and can dress up casual clothing after work. Would definitely recommend these shoes.
