I bought these for my husband who was looking for a waterproof walking shoe for a trip up north. The shoe is nice looking and comfortable and was true to size. When he compared it to a Timberland shoe he tried at the same time, he chose the Timberland because it had more support and was more comfortable than the Rockport. The Timberland ran smaller and was also more expensive.

Didn’t like high top for narrow feet. It fit weird. Weird definition of brown color too—not dark?

Comfortable straight out of the box, little to no break in required. Use them for work, am on my feet most of the day and these boots are comfortable from start to finish.

Nicely made boot but, I ordered an 11 W and it fit like a 11 D.

I bought these for my husband because he can no longer get his left foot into a regular boot. So the low cut was great. The only thing he complained about was the arch support. He was pleased with these.

Size was a little off compared to what I normally wear. Normally wear 10.5, returned for a 10 and probably could have gotten by with 9.5. Other than that, comfortable from the start, not much break in. I am a delivery driver, so I've had to make deliveries in the rain and feet stayed dry. I was looking for something light weight and still have sturdy uppers with comfort and ankle support, and this shoe seems to provide all that. I would recommend it to someone who has to be on their feet all day.

I need a wide shoe, and these fit. They are comfortable. My pair were heavily discounted. I use them for rummaging around. I'm happy with them.

I tried on but it just didn't feel good on my foot

Heal of the show is too short. it feels like a baby boot not quite doing the job its desiged for. rockport used to make excellent shoes, I am not sure what has happened to them in recent years. My Rockport Northfield have the same issue. I would not buy another pair of rockorts for the time being. Maybe if they can bring back their old designs and make good shoes, I could give them a shot.

Fit was not bad. I have Fred Flinstone feet, so finding shoes/boots wide enough is an issue. The fit on these boots was fine, but the leather was very stiff. Not sure how the break-in period would go. The dow2nfall for me was that the color was at lest a couple shades lighter than what the picture shows, and the leather seemed easily scratchable. Returned.

I love the look and feel of this shoe. However, the sole started to separate from the heel of the shoe within 6 months, and I just noticed that I've worn a hole completely through the sole in a little over a year. I'm a sedentary desk jockey who occasionally hikes on the weekend, so this is disappointing.

I think they are very nice boots but alittle to small and to narrow. I got them acouple of days ago so I’m ready to call customer support.

Purchased these because it always rains here and thought this looked pretty good from photos and video. Upon receiving them I was a little concerned in regards to the appearance of these shoes with my work attire...definitely not suitable for a fashion forward office environment. Then they had the heal; for me these tend to be uncomfortable after a couple of hours standing at my desk. Had a lot of hope...

These look very nice, but not all that comfy. Seem to run a bit large. I considered exchanging for a half-size smaller, but realized that they just weren't that comfy and size wasn't the issue. The leather was pretty stiff and they squeaked very loudly and rubbed my ankles despite the padding. Maybe if I had gotten a half size smaller, the other issues would've mitigated after some breaking in, but I wasn't willing to chance it, decided to return and keep looking. I'm old enough to recall when a new pair of leather boots - especially true hiking boots - required a fair amount of breaking in. But it seems that isn't the case anymore, most boots seem comfy from the get go, so I'm spoiled to that now.

Snug fit so runs small and the sole is only bonded and not stitched as the top edge rubber has 'simulated' stitching and overall has a cheap feel compare to the Dunham Revdash which are more pricey but a orth it. Other thing if you don't like about chukkas is the rear top slopes out which can stop your trousers. Thin inserts compared to the deluxe Dunham shoes.Rockport shoes seem to have gone south-cheap yet still pricey as so much made in China.

These were nearly impossible to get on. Required quite a struggle. They are stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Not recommended.

too tight through the ankle - not comfortable

I have thick ankles and when walking they rubbed against the sides of the shoes and hurt

This boot is an awkward height for me, the collar rubs on my ankles.
