Great boot! My 3rd pair of Ariats. My 1st 2 pair I had to go with size 12EE, but I normally always wear 13D for all shoes/boots. These boots I went with 13D like I normally wear because some reviews mentioned how it seemed sizing had been revised in recent years. These fit spot on and are uber comfortable. Overall my experience with Ariat boots has been positive son if you are on the fence with buying your 1st pair you can't go wrong with choosing this brand. All my boots are top notch in quality and I will buy from them again.

These are probably the toughest boots I have ever owned but at the same time probably the toughest to break in! Much persistence and many blisters later they are super comfortable and durable. Don't give up - its worth the pain. They have just the right amount of tread to provide great traction but not feel like a logging boot. They also fit narrow. They are the first wide width boot I have ever owned and they had to be stretched!

These are my second pair of Hybrid ranchers. My first was the water resistant pair and the leather on those is soft and flexible. This pair has the same build quality but the leather is very stiff. So much so the where the shaft meets the ankle area the leather bent into the ankle and caused discomfort. I have used various methods to push and stretch that area outward and they seem good now. We will see how they break in over time.

This seems like a well made boot! It was given to me as a gift and way too many sizes big so I can't talk about performance, but when I opened them they looked sturdy, looked like the heel was connected properly, and there was no damage.

I've been using these boots for work and my honest review is I wouldn't buy them again. They fit great however there are very uncomfortable. I work 9 plus hours and around hour 5 they started to hurt my feet. I normally wear my boots all day and after the using them the first few times I could not wait to take them off. I was disappointed in my purchase. At first I thought with time it would go away and it has not.

I've worn boots for years and ive had these boots for about a year now and they came from the factory with a bit of a smell which I figured was just from the manufacturing process. It has never gone away and smells absolutely foul. They fit great and are super comfortable but nothing I've done has stopped the smell. It's not a feet smell but it's like nasty chemical and you can smell it through everything. If it weren't for the smell they'd be a 5/5 for me.

I recently bought this boot. But they are not waterproof at a 100%. With this rain that is happening. My feet will still get wet. Water will still get in between the leather and the sole. I love the boot style and the shape. They are very comfortable to work. But just not waterproof at 100%.

The boots look good but still to narrow for wide width boots. And too heavy for a work boot w/o comp or steel toe.
And, they shipped w/o a box...that's too much money for boots to ship in a bag.

I like these boots, they look nice and they're pretty comfortable for all day wear, but the one problem I have with them is that after I wore 'em a few times, I noticed that they got harder and harder to put on, and these are a size up and I was told to size down with Ariat. The first picture I attached is where my heel stops and can't go further I feel that the problem with ariat's is that at the lower part of the shaft is WAY to small of a space.

Good boot. Cool sole. Typical good Ariat quality. Good leather, well built. Crazy tight in the throat. Disclaimer, I have high arches that often require a stretch in the arch and throat area. These boots were so tight in the throat area I couldn’t even get them on for one foot. I returned the D and ordered the EE. The EE fit much better and wasn’t crazy big in the toe box. Length was true to size.

Bought this boot as my first pair of western boots. They lasted for about 4 years with only being worn in the winter months and the summer occasion that called for boots. Unfortunately the boot from the start was extremely hard for me to get off. This resulted in the heel to become detached from the inside of the boot itself. Shame because without that this would be my favorite pair of Ariats in the lineup as they are very versatile.

Overall I was not impressed with these boots. I ended up returning them. They took much longer than I expected to break in and by the time they broke in half the sole was worn out. And once they finally got comfortable the liner in the left toe buckled inward and takes up the space where my toes should go. I typically love Ariat boots so these were a disappointment for me. I returned these and ordered the same pair that I had last time.

Bought these in boots in Beaumont TX before I moved to Virginia less than a month ago. The sole of the boot has already started to separate from the toe. Now I'm 1300 miles away and can't return them. Major disappointment!

I liked the styling well enough, and the grip does well in bad conditions. The PVC heel is terrible for standing any length of time for anyone over 200#, a rubber stack heel with the same outsole would be a superior boot, the claim of better durability is a moot point since you would either resole or recycle the boots once they hit that point anyway.
