Love the style. If you are looking for off-black, these are your boots. If you are looking for true black, they aren't. Cute boots, though!

Super cute! I used these boots all fall in New England and got loads of compliments. Wore them a couple times in the snow, I wouldn't recommend that. They're great for cooler weather and zip up super easy over skinny jeans. I'll probably get another pair for this coming fall.

I love these boots! They are super comfortable and look great. I am able to wear my skinny jeans with them tucked into these boots and they look and feel great. I do have skinny calves, so I don't know how they would be if my calves were thicker. I have worn them in bad weather too. Put a little weather-proofing on them and they are good to go!

I bought these months ago and came back to review just to say that these are flat out the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, even over my tennis shoes. I could walk from here to eternity in these in comfort. I could sleep in them, and sleep well. There was no "break in" period either. As for quality, the leather buckle at the bottom had some issues when I first got them and I had to use a leather conditioner to get them up to speed. Other than that, they have also held up well. If they wear out, I am getting another pair.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned and I've owned well over a hundred pairs! I am able to wear and walk in them for hours upon hours without the slightest discomfort. They are very cute and I receive many compliments when wearing them, I just wish they were offered in solid black.

I love these boots. So comfortable, look great! The bottom is wearing sooner than I would have hoped, but I wear them all the time...

These boots are amazing! Perfect smokey color goes with black, gray, white, or anything. Perfect length (right below the knee)and fits my calves perfectly.

I love these boots! They fit true to size, are easy to get on and off and fit well over jeans even if they're not skinny jeans. They are very comfortable to walk in as well.

Fits true to size - normally wear an 8 and the 8 fit great. Plenty of room in the calf. Not a true solid black color, but still look great. A bit more on the casual side as opposed to dressy.

First of all, Zappos is the best. These boots were my first ever purchase from the site. I can't believe how easy and fast they make everything. So thank you Zappos! Also these boots are what I have been looking for for so long now! I absolutely love them. I got my normal size, they felt a tad bigger than I'm use to feeling in shoes, but I couldn't have gone down a size either. I haven't worn them long enough to say about the comfort. I'm sure they will be fine though!

Comfy shoe and really cute. I love it! I get compliments on them all the time. Be aware that the calf is pretty wide on this boot. It works out well for me, but not everyone has the massive calves that I do.

These were a Christmas gift and the recipient was absolutely thrilled with them. They fit perfectly and looked just as pictured. She was one happy young lady.

Cute! Cute! Cute! Good quality leather (for the price point) and nice dark gray distressed look. NOTE: These are dark gray, not black. I knew that from other reviews so expectations were appropriately fulfilled! Comfy right out of the box and I'm sure the distressed will wear well and break in even more. Sure to be worn all the time!

I got so many compliments on these boots. The calf is a smidge narrow (if you plan on wearing long socks or boot toppers) but overall they are pretty comfortable and definitely cute.

I really like these boots. They are pretty comfy and perfect for wearing with leggings or skinny jeans. I usually have trouble finding boots wide enough for my calves, but these were perfect and zipped up with a little room to spare. The color is definitely more grey than black. They are really cute and I get compliments on them often. Would definitely recommend!

These boots are wonderful! They do have a lot of grey tones in them. They are not a true black...nevertheless, they are comfortable and wonderful!

I bought these boots and then dummy me returned them! I've been missing them ever since. I plan on buying them back immediately and keeping them this time. I love all of my Madden Girl boots and love this just as much. They're cute, stylish and comfortable...what more could you ask for!? I love that I have 3 pairs of brown Madden Girl boots and not one brown is the same shade. These will be mine! They were cheaper the first time I got them but oh well...I really miss them.

Just received my boots today...love them! I have wider feet so I always worry about boots fitting properly, but these fit wonderfully! I have arch issues as well, so I might get inserts but they are comfy enough where I might not need them. True to size, calf fits well and I have room to wear skinny jeans. Absolutely love them!

Love these boots! They were exactly what I was looking for and for the price, I jumped on them. The boots have the worn look to them and are comfortable. I can wear them with a skirt or dress. I did find that the boots ride a little high up to my knee, I'm 5'4. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and the the style of the boots. I suspect they will last through one NY winter only.

These boots are fabulous! I am a small person, but I have very muscular legs from years of figure skating and hockey. These boots have the perfect amount of room for my calves to fit comfortably, but aren't overly big. They look amazing over jeans and leggings, and the zipper going up the back makes them a breeze to take on and off. The day I received these, I wore them to go run a few errands and received several compliments on them. I love everything about these boots, from the style to the comfort, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cute, stylish boot for fall!

Not bad quality for the price, color is off black, love the back zipper, easy to get on and off. Buckles do make a little noise which I stopped noticing after wearing them. Wore them all day and they were comfortable. There's plenty of room in the toe box and felt true to size with my medium weight socks. I don't know how they will hold up compared to leather boots, this is my first time purchasing faux leather boots.

This boot is relatively comfortable. I wear them to work at a restaurant. My only real complaint is that for some reason they are getting shiny on the top of the foot, while the rest of the boot remains a matte brown. Definitely more comfortable with an insole.

I really wanted boots this fall considering I lost some weight and could fit my chunky calves into non wide calf things again. After reading the reviews I figured that these would be a grayish black and be pretty good on the thicker calves. Both were correct. I would describe the color, more as a very dark distressed grey instead of black. Fit a little big in the shoe area I'm normally a 10 in everything, but ordered 9.5 because I have another pair of Madden Girls that fit perfectly. My feet are very roomy in the shoe big socks would be no issue. The calf fits even with jeans on so I'm happy. Overall very excited to show these off.
