The boot fits perfectly - I have a wide foot, high instep and sporty calves so the width of the feet and leg on these boots was just what I've been looking for years. I have only worn them once but so far, so good!!!

Finding boots that fit my large feet with high instep, as well as muscular calves has been difficult. These boots are perfect; great fit for my feet and legs, and they look stylish.

I ordered a wide so that I could fit my orthotic inside and wear bulkier socks. They fit perfectly and are soooooo comfortable! I put them on this morning to start breaking them in and 8 hours later I am still in them. They are also beautiful. The calf fit perfectly. The height is perfect. It has been 40 years since I had a boot I loved this much. As a young woman I wore boots all winter. Here's to returning to boots for comfort, warmth and style.

The perfect leather wide calf boot for wide foot DOES exist. These are actually comfortable and they fit my wide calf perfectly whereas about 90% of leather "wide calf" boots are usually too tight. Love them and only wish I could still get them in brown and other colors would be amazing.

Finally the perfect wide calf fit! So many wide calf boots are still too tight for me. I tried the Boost and they were way too big in the calf, these were perfect and actually comfortable as well with good support.

I am so happy I purchased these boots - I have an extra large calf (I need 20") and have never been able to find boots that are comfortable, stylish, and of good quality until now. Love this boot and love Zappos!

This fat calved girl is so happy with these boots! My calves are 17+ inches in diameter, and these boots zipped over my jeans. Would recommend!

My hunt for the best wide shaft knee high boots is over, these boots are amazing!! I have an 18’ calf and short-ish legs, so finding knee high boots that fit are a struggle. These boots zipped up perfect, they’re great quality with a really comfortable lining. I went up a half size because boots can sometimes fit tight on me, they’re definitely true to size and very comfortable. I highly recommend these boots to anyone with a larger calf!!

For someone who has very thick calves- it's nearly impossible for me to find boot that fit- this is my first pair of knee high boots. great quality- beatiful leather. thank you for making a great shoe for a thicked legged gal

LOVE these boots! I have a pair in black AND brown! I’m a 12-13 depending on brand, shoe last, design, style. I bought a size 13, they fit great, with or without socks, plenty of room in the toe box—and plenty of room in calf, (even a little big) but I could easily tuck jeans in them! I’m flat footed, so the fact that they have no arch support or cushion doesn’t bother me. As a teacher, I was on my feet all day with no problem. Though, I’m considering adding a thin cushioned insert for the upcoming season. I’ve had them for 4 years. ***Now, all that said, I had a problems with the construction. The heel separated from the leather in 4-6 weeks—I didn’t wear them every day. Returned them for a replacement (Great Zappos Customer Service!). 2nd pair did the same. I called Zappos; they said it was a product defect & they would replace with a different boot but I kept them because I liked them & it’s hard to find boots in my size! So, I took them to the shoe repair shop. Both the black & brown had the same issue. I’ve taken each pair to the shoe repair shop twice. And I’m taking them again before fall to see if the heel can just be replaced entirely. The uppers & zippers are in great shape!!! Like others, I think they are a pricey, give the construction issue & absolutely zero arch support or cushion; however, they’re served me well for 4 years, and I just love them, so I can’t complain!!

This boot fits well and is true to size. The material is soft, subtle leather. Yes, this is my go to boot for all occasions. It looks great with leggings and skinny jeans.

I love the fit and feel of these boots! I'm 6'0 tall and boots usually aren't as tall as I want them to be but these boots hit just below my knee. Nice and tall. The leather is good quality, they look great and they fit great. The calf width is more than adequate but they don't look like pirate boots. They fit well. I wear them with and without socks and either way is comfortable. I will definitely buy more David Tate boots!

I read the reviews before I ordered, so I got 8 W instead of my usual 8.5 Wide. The fit was perfect, so I am glad that I sized down. I ordered "Wide," which is what I always get in shoes and boots and they fit the way I would have expected. The shaft, which was wide as well, fit comfortably. So far, I am pleased and based on how they will wear throughout the season, I may make this my go-to brand for shoes/boots.

These are so timeless. I've had them for a about a year now and they still look great. I get compliments all the time. So happy I get to wear them more often now because it's finally gotten cold in LA lol. The wide shaft is perfect over jeans and the foot bed is wide. I got my true size which is a 9W and can still wear them with socks and jeans. Beautiful boot, great leather, great quality, so worth the price.
