I love these boots! I ordered them having never heard of the brand but thought they were cute. I wore them on a pretty strenuous hike in the mountains with not having them broke in...they were perfect...not a blister or nothing but comfortable great feeling feet! These are awesome!

This is my first ever pair of hiking/winter boots, so I don't have anything to compare it to other than the pair of North Face boots I also ordered but ended up returning. The vibram soles on these are great, vs. the North Face Arctic Guide which are more winter-specific and didn't have enough traction. I've walked around on dry as well as icy and slushy sidewalks in cities in these Ahnu Sugerpines, and also hiked up snowy mountains in Iceland in these boots, and they've been comfortable in all those conditions.

I like these boots so much but had to give it up (heart broken)!! Love the style & colours and design. BUT it's too narrow and too long for the usual 7.5 size, most unusual!! Very uncomfortable bec of its narrow width for a "regular" compared to other brands. I just can't see myself walking in them for more than 15 minutes without suffering the cramp and blisters, etc.

These boots could be way better. I mean, look at mountain goats. Mountain goats are awesome and even more awesome climbers! These boots suck. Boo Zappos, boo these shoes! I am currently working on a project to make these stupid boots less bulky and more comfortable!

I am sending them back. I know people love these boots. I find the colors odd and I could not easily get my feet into them and that has never happened before. Once I did it was not worth the extra tug, I found them mediocre as far as cushioning or support or they way they look. My Patagonia Drifter Hiking boots are yummy to put on. My feet slide right into a world of cushion with nothing rubbing and I can go and go in them. They are like all terrain vehicles for my feet. No Ahnu for me this time.

I bought these boots primarily for an upcoming international trip next year. When they arrived and I tried them on, I had my doubts. They seemed to not have that much support. But, I decided to give them a try. I took them on a 4 day trip to Yosemite and wore them on three long-ish hikes. They were GREAT! I love how lightweight they are. They offer an okay amount of support. I don't know if they would be great for serious backpacking, but for a 4 -5 mile hike with a small daypack, they worked wonderfully. I also love how super cute they are. I even got a complement from another hiker. They are already to be packed for my long international journey next year. I will, however, take along another pair of insoles that have a bit more arch support. This boot has a removeable one, so you can switch them out.

Bought these for a week-long hiking trip and only wore these for a bit to break them in beforehand. I bought a size up to account for feet swelling, and it worked out well. They're good looking boots.

Would recommend getting a 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size, very light and nice looking.

Shoes are great for both hiking and commuting in Seattle's rainy weather. My feet stay very warm and dry even with extended walking in the rain. They were incredibly comfortable, even from the first moment I put them on.

When I got these shoes, I immediately wore them and had no problem adjusting to them at all. I loved the color purple. I have worn them at the barn, hiking, work and they feel like a glove on my foot and they hug my too often sprained ankles. At about 10 months in, I put my orthotics in them which helped them to last even longer but now I've worn the rubber off!! So after one year it's time to replace them and fortunately Zappos still has them. Love these shoes.

These are the best boots ever. Took them out for a 5-day hike at 9000 ft elevation and had no problems with blisters, hurting toes or hot spots. The reviews on these boots are all true. I'm a new loyal customer.

Just got back from a 10 day trip to Iceland and I wore these every day everywhere! It didn't rain as often as expected but it did a few times and my feet stayed dry! I usually wear an 8N, but these worked for me (they don't come in Narrow). I did add my Dr. Scholl custom arch support. Highly recommend!

I love these boots. Got them last minute before a day of hiking and my feet felt great the whole time. They're light and flexible with just enough support.

I have very difficult feet. They're shaped like baby feet, the right is almost a full size larger than the left, and I have chronic foot pain. In preparation for a trip to Montana, I shopped for hiking boots in a big outdoor store but didn't find a good fit. I ordered eight or nine pairs of hiking boots from Zappos (THANK YOU!!!) and the Ahnu Sugarpine were the only pair that felt really comfortable. They're light, with a nice, wide enough toe box, and a snug heel. I wore them in the cold, the heat, up and down dry slopes with loose rock, on large and small river rocks, in mud, in snow (that's Montana!) and even stood in a river for a short time with them. My feet never got too hot, cold, or wet (I mostly wore thin Darn Tough wool socks with them) They look nice too!! I love these boots and expect I'll have them a long time. I've owned a pair of Ahnu Sugarpine Air Mesh Low Hiking Shoes that I wear once or twice a week on average, and they still feel new after about 5 years.

Love these hiking boots! I have very narrow feet and these work well. Usually a 9/9.5 and am happy with the size 9.5 in these. They are so cool because the lower part of the boot is covered in a synthetic waterproof fabric but the ankle has flexible leather that wears in really well. Have gotten many compliments and highly recommend.

I searched quite a bit for the right hiking boot and these are great! My feet were a little sore the first time but after that they were very comfortable. They offer a lot of foot and ankle support. This do feel just a smudge too narrow but that may be for support. Overall, happy with the purchase. I got the yellow ones but they are more nude. Love them.

I ordered these boots two days before my week long trip to Glacier Montana. They came next day just in time. I did have to call Zappos customer service when ordering due to card error on my end. Customer service rep. was wonderful!! Friendly, personable, helpful, and thorough. Boots are exactly what I was expecting. I have wide feet they fit great, very comfortable. I definitely put some miles on them, and many more to come. Hope this helps.

So. Freaking. Comfortable. Now, mind you, I've only worn these on flat Midwest farmland to 'break them in' before they do some real work in the mountains of the pacific northwest in August. So, I can't say quite yet how they will hold up to ACTUAL hiking, but other reviews lead me to believe they will do justttt fine :) I'm just amazed by how comfortable they are right off the bat, and they are so lightweight! I would seriously wear them everywhere if I could (I guess I technically CAN, but, ya know... 'fashion' and all that!). I've got high arches and these have really good arch support (in my opinion). They're not wide, but comfortably roomy for my narrow feet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Really great shoes ! Very comfortable from the first time I wore them . I was hiking everyday wearing smart wool socks , in the rain ... and they past the test ! I sprained my ankle back in a December so my first , serious , longer hike was uncertain .... .. Ahnu boots made it possible ! Love them !

Bought these for a hiking trip to Scotland. Needed some extra ankle support. Solid and well made.

Excellent Hiking Boot. My grand daughter is very happy with the purchase. She is a teenager and can be very choosy. She likes the look of the boot.(most important). We will be using the boot on our trip to Kinshasa, Congo next month.

Love these boots! Wore them working in the vineyard the last 2 days and for the first time my feet did not hurt after walking all day. Temperature was hot, but these boots kept my feet cool, dry, and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back for other colors...and speaking of colors, the dark slate color is adorable!
