I bought two pairs of these shoes for my husband. He is on on his feet for over 16 hours a day and says that these are the best shoes that he has had in a long time. His feet are a little wide in the front and he has narrow heels and finding shoes that fit can be a challenge. these were perfect.

Good looking shoe. Photos are accurate. Comfortable for walking. Needs a little break-in period of a couple days. I wear them in the office, for business casual, but they won't look too out-of-place if you had to throw on a tie and sportcoat. I got the espresso color, which is a dark brown. I may have to get the black one, too.

I have worn Merrell boots and hiking shoes for many years, but this is my first pair of more dressy shoes from Merrell. I was amazed at how lightweight they are. The footbed was like other Merrell products, which means it fits well. I will enjoy wearing these shoes with both jeans and slacks. If they are like my other Merrell products, I will get many years of service from them.

Once again, Merrell has changed their only dress shoe but for the most part, it feels as comfortable as previous versions did. Overall, the look is better. The shoe is lighter than previous versions and I've only had the shoe for a week so it's difficult to say if that means they'll wear out quicker. Bottom line, if you liked the feel of earlier editions then you'll most likely dig this one, too.

I bought these shoes because I was looking for something comfortable yet stylish enough that I could wear them with a sport coat and tie to work. These are fabulously comfortable and look good with jeans or slacks. I have seen reviews that call them heavy, and at first glance they look like they could be heavy, but I was amazed at how light they are. I have had a number of compliments on their looks, and both my son and my stepson who are very fussy about their shoes want a pair. They aren't cheap, but at my age I'll spend a few extra bucks on shoes.

I was very deliberative about choosing this shoe. I wanted "outdoorsy-dress." These Realm oxfords were a great choice. They felt broken-in immediately, are extremely comfortable due to the cushioned sole, are weather resistant, and yet keep a nice shine. The lighter leather between the uppers and the sole is a nice accent, but isn't as noticeable as in the picture.

Very comfortable. Light weight with a roomy toe box. Size is true to what I wear. I will definitely repeat buy on these shoes.

Fit great right out of the box. No squeaks. Light, comfortable, quiet and pleasing to the eye. Moderate cushioning. Break comfortably across my long skinny toes. I wear them all day and love them. I highly recommend these shoes.

Very nice shoe. High quality. Zappos is good with returns, shoe was narrow and they quickly issued a return label and sent out the wide pair, no charge. As always Zappos wins my vote for making it easy for the customer. Customer first approach!

I read the reviews on this shoe, and I have to be honest, they were all spot on. My feet are a little wider, they offer a true fit, and I wore them for 5 hours for the first time, and were extremely comfortable, you will love them. Comfortable walk...cushion, just excellent shoe.

This is a great and comfortable shoe. I own 2 pair, another in black. I may get a third. The only issue I had was the seam at the toe was pealing after a few months of wear. But the great people at Zappos processed a speedy exchange.

These shoes are great for wearing to work in all day. My feet, legs and back do not hurt! There is good support built into these shoes, too.

The shape of this shoe is excellent; it is somewhat fat to accommodate wide feet. I'm normally a 9.5 wide, and these fit great overall. The look of these shoes is very professional without being too corporate. One complaint: the material is stiff, and on the first day I made the mistake of walking a couple miles. The ankle collar rubbed against the back of my foot until it bled. If the material were softer, this would not have been a problem. I have since worn these shoes with no problem.

I walk about 5 miles a day, so I need shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and durable. I also want a shoe that doesn't look out of place in the office. The Merrell Realm Lace has all of these qualities. I can wear this shoe all day without my feet aching. They did take a couple of days to break in. The back of the heel in particular caused some pain and abrasion which required a protective band-aid, but after a few days the shoe broke in and has been very comfortable since. Living in Seattle, I need a waterproof shoe with lots of traction. I've not had the opportunity to assess how well the Realm Lace does in the rain. If you've ever worn a wide fitting, definitely get the wide version of this shoe. It's on the narrow side.

These are great every day work shoes for me. They are not quite as comfortable as some Keens but very well made. They take a bit to break in so give them a chance and don't plan a European waking trip the week after you get them.

I love them. They fit a wide foot, its subtle leather that breaks in easily. A comfortable, good looking, casual oxford!

I bought these for my husband. He was having arch pain and these resolved it! I knew from my own experience with Merrells that they could help. He said when he wears these shoes he has no pain at all. He has high arches and these are terrific. He's a teacher and stands a lot during the day.

I have looked at shoes on Zappos for years, but I have never purchased anything till now. I had seen these Merrells and wanted to give them a shot, but the local store that usually caries them, didn't have any in my size. So I decided to try Zappos. I knew they offered free shipping and free return shipping, so even if the shoes didn't fit, there was basically no risk. I ordered these shoes Wednesday morning about 10:45 and they were at my house Thursday afternoon, only a little more than 24 hours later. I tried them on when I returned home from work, and so far, they are really comfortable. This is my 4th different pair of Merrells, so I am confident they will be nice. But I must say that I am more than impressed with Zappos. I will recommend Zappos and Merrell to anyone I can.

I have worn athletic shoes and avoided wearing real shoes for the last 20 years because I could not really find comfortable leather shoes in EE width - until now. I am so glad that I gave these shoes a try. It took a day and a little to really break them in but, oh wow, how comfortable! I am considering buying another pair to put in the closet for when I wear these out because my search for comfortable real shoes is done.

Great shoes. This is my second pair of Merrell shoes (not the same style), and I really like them, very comfortable shoes. I actually would love to wear them every day to work, but 3 days a week I have to wear shoes that a little less casual than this.

The sole was, out of the box, stiffer than I expected but it broke in quickly. Very comfortable shoe. No rubbing during the break-in process (which only took a couple hours of moderate walking). Some reviews I saw mentioned the clunkiness of the look, but I found it to be a good looking normal shoe.

Great shoe right out of the box. Required almost no break in. My fourth pair of Merrell's and with any luck these will be as durable as the last three pair. Runs a bit large.
