These are by far the most comfortable boots I have even owned. The style is "okay" but the comfort outweighs the lack of fashion. My only issue is that the laces shredded like pulled pork in less than a week. For a pair of boots at this price I was a bit disappointed that I had to salvage laces from other shoes so I could wear these to work. Besides that I would have a 5 star.

I just got these boots and they are incredible! They are extremely comfortable and very cushioning in the foot bed which is one of the best I've seen. I like the insole so much I will try to get some from Merrell for my other boots. I would recommend these boots, especially if you are looking for comfort while walking. They look great too!

The fit and the look are great, they are also very comfortable. However, this is the 4th pair of Merrell's I've gotten that squeak. It's not bad enough to prevent me from wearing them, but it is annoying!

These Realms are comfortable, soft riding, supportive, lightweight, stylish, and the fit is almost great for my USA 9 wide/wide toe box and overpronation feet. Almost because the 9 is a bit large. 8½ -8 might be better.

Extremely beautiful great style and comfort is a great combination with jeans sport and casual. I wear 9.5 and 10, depends of the shoe brand (Adidas 10,Nike 10,Ecco 43,Clarks 9.5). I ordered mine size 10 so I had to return for a size lower now 9.5 fits great. The width is excellent for me since I'm a sporty guy that run and hike and my feet are wider in the front.

I bought two pairs of these boots half size apart. They are comfortable and stylish for anyone who spends time outdoors for work or pleasure. Not a rugged shoe but will stand up to most conditions...my only complaint with both is the tongue inside the shoe is not thick enough and after 5-6 hours, the top of my foot is sore from the laces rubbing through to the point I have to untie them for relief right away. The laces slip as well even if double knotted.

I don't buy shoes often because I have a hard time finding styles that work for me. I really like these Realm chukkas. Sadly, I tried two pair, and both had the squeak that you will find in many reviews. I thought about trying a third pair, but chose not to. Please get it together Merrell! I'm also finding I can't change the overall rating from 5 stars, I'd give them a 2.5 if I could.

I really like the looks of this shoe and it is comfortable. It's taken several days to break them in, but I anticipate that once fully broken they will be very comfortable.

This is a great looking and high quality model. They are very comfortable, except that the upper lip was a little too hard at the beginning and caused me some discomfort rubbing my skin around the ankle. But after two days of moderate use all was ok. The shoes are surprisingly light - the look is deceiving. I have relatively wide feet and the shoes still fit very well. They run a little but larger in size - I ordered 7½ and I feel that I could get 7 if it were not for the width of my feet. The shoes look exactly as shown on the picture - true color. Also, they are pretty warm - good winter shoes.

These are great and comfortable boots! Firstly do not ignore everyone saying that they are a half size larger because I ignored them and had to send them back. Secondly, they are super squeaky but put some baby powder under the insole and they are quiet as a mouse. They are very comfortable and great looking.

I took a chance on this purchase. I wear a wide shoe, usually an E or EE. Sometimes Merrell shoes are wider in the toe box and they will fit my foot even though it is a D width. Not this time. It is simply a D width and I had to return them. (Zappos' free return policy enables me to pursue this type of on-line shopping.) Otherwise, the shoe looks great and I would have kept them.

This is my second pair. Liked the brown ones so much for work, I got them in black. I normally wear size 15 in vans & asics but the 14 fit in these due to the roomy toe box area. I have gotten several compliments from the ladies on these. I find them to be very comfortable.

They wear like hiking boots, which means that for the first day or two, they're not comfortable until they're broken in. For me, that took less than a day, and they're now some of the most comfortable boots/shoes I've worn in a while. They also look a lot more like hiking boots than the pictures on the site show.

I bought this pair on size 7.5 and had to return it and get a 7. As every shoes you have to worn them to get use to it. It felt a little bit uncomfortable for an hour and then forgot about it. After that were very comfortable to walk for a long period of time without discomfort. Shoes are very stylish and can go with everything from casual to formal.

I love these shoes, they fit well, are comfortable and I am glad I purchased them. As previous reviews have stated the shoelaces are crap. I wore them three times and they started to fray. A 1.99 fix.

Runs big, usually wear 10.5-11, order these in size 10.5, returning for size 10. Otherwise like the look of the shoe.

I bought these before a sales convention. I had no time to break them in prior to spending 4 days straight walking around in them. I had no issues spending 13 hours a day walking and standing in these. They look great and I will absolutely buy more from Merrell.

These are the first chukka shoes I've ever owned, and I have to say that I think they are great. They are as stylish as I need stylish without being 'flashy' extremely durable, and very comfortable. What more could you ask for (except better laces)? I would recommend these shoes in a flash, and I'm even considering getting a pair of black shoes to go better with my blue/black clothing not that the 'cinnamon' shoes really look bad. Just black would look better. Very good purchase.

Very comfortable boots for casual wear. This was my first time with Merrells. I had to size down one from a 10.5 to a 10.

I bought these for my boyfriend. He lives them, says they are super comfortable. The only issue which I see is common are the laces. They are just not meant to be rubbed at. It is an easy fix.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He likes them, says they're comfortable and fit TTS. I think they're made really well. But, like another reviewer said, the shoestrings are thin and will probably need to be replaced down the road. Nice product otherwise.

As mentioned by a previous review, the laces are junk but the shoes are great. These boots can go fancy or industrial depending on your outfit. They kind of seem to me like a Merrell version of Dr Martens.

I have replaced the Merrell insoles with New Balance insoles and that makes the shoes much more comfortable. Shoes have a wide toe, which is a good thing for my feet.

Nice looking boot but they squeak loudly when the hubs walks in them. Hoping to exchange for another pair. This will be the second return; the first pair ran small around the top of the foot and had to get a larger size.

I've had these about a month now. I wear them everyday at work, where I'm on my feet. A lot. Also do a lot of walking. These shoes have been very comfortable and feel great even after 12 or 13 hours on. I've had Merrell's before, and I will buy them again.
