Definitely one of the cuter options for snowboots. However, they felt really stiff. I also had to use both the side zipper and the laces to get the proper fit which is just too time consuming when you just want to pull on a pair of snowboots. I will be returning - not worth the money.

They are a bit too tight in the calf, although they zip on the side and you can lose the laces on front. The ankle rubs a bit and is stiff inside...I am returning them only because I am still in love with the Merrells I purchased approximately 6 years ago, that are like an old worn friend.

I agree with a lot of other reviewers. Super cute, fits narrow calves. I ordered two sizes. My regular size and a half size up. Did not need to size up. The problem is just baggy in the ankle area. So baggy, the material pops when walking. Returned.

Not even four months, and not worn daily, and the boots already have a whole in the leather at one seam at the top. Very disappointed. I'm going to try to exchange them for another pair, because I otherwise really liked them. Hope I just had a bad pair.

The boots looked okay when I took them out of the box, but when I tried them on, they did not fit well. The boots were very wide at the ankles and very narrow going up the calf. It was difficult to zip up the boots. When I walked in them, I felt unstable and awkward. There is something just not right about how the boots are made and fit.

It is hard to put on. It's tight at the ankle, and not comforable at all. Too bad they are going back.

They are warm, dry and the arch support is excellent. The footbed is extremely comfortable, but the ankles are extremely uncomfortable. I had to buy a piece of lamb's wool to wrap around my ankle to prevent blisters on the ankle bone.

I bought these boots last winter and loved them! However, the zipper recently broke and now they are unwearable. My husband had an issue with some Merrell shoes that fell apart with in a few months of purchasing them and Merrell would not help him out. I have not contacted Zappos, because although their service is always the best. This is not their fault. Such an expensive pair of boot should last more than one season. I will simply steer clear of Merrells in the future.

I really love the look of these boots and I have always been a fan of Merrell. I lived in my apex encore boots for years but sadly Merrell stopped making them and lost their way. These boots are super stylish but the heel is so stiff and grips my slim ankles/heels in a bad painful way. For the price these babies should feel like a dream and I am not taking my chances to see if they will break in. I walk everywhere and need something with good support and look great. Unfortunately these are going back. Ugh.

Way too narrow around calf couldn't even get the zipper to meet I wear boots year round and haven't had this happen before these are so comfy and cushiony and so cute I got the shorter ones the Decora Sonata love them! Warm and cute and super comfy!
