I love these boots. They are super comfortable and keep my feet warm and toasty (I live in Minnesota). And they are cute enough to walk around in the mall, grocery store, etc. I also love Zappos' customer service. The first order accidentally had the wrong pair of boots in it. Zappos had the correct pair at my house (free of charge) within 1½ days.

I love these boots! Very warm and comfortable! Also, the zipper makes it very easy to take them off/put them on.

Awesome boots! So comfortable, stays dry, and toasty warm. In addition to the easy-on zipper, you can adjust snugness with the front lace. Great snow boots!

I've been on the hunt for warm, waterproof, stylish snow boots for about a month now. I ordered 5 different pairs to try on and these were the winners. They are very comfortable and cute. The material around the foot feels very well made and the fur at the top is nice and soft. I like that you can adjust the ties so that they fit your leg just perfectly, but then once they're correctly fitted, there's a zipper on the side that makes them very easy to put on and take off. The boot seems to be just a little narrower than a typical shoe, which I did not mind since there was still plenty of room to wear thick socks. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and would recommend the same. Not only will these boots be warm and waterproof, but they also will very comfortably to walk in. The quality seems like it will easily last for years. Overall, a great investment. I would definitely recommend.

The best investment ever! They are warm, comfortable (however, it takes about a week to break them in) and they are waterproof, what else can you wish for during this terrible winter? They are wide enough in case you like to wear 2 socks or if you need insoles for extra support (like me).

Fantastic boot! Wore them today in the rare Carolina snow/ice storm and even my toes stayed warm sinking down above my ankles in layers of fresh snow and ice for nearly an hour brushing the snow off my boxwoods. I wasted my time worrying that the white color might show dirt easily. Congratulating myself on a great purchase.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and am very happy with them. I've worn them through very cold weather and in the snow. They are warm and comfortable. When I first put them on, they were surprisingly snug around the ankle and leg, but they loosened up considerably as I wore them. I don't have a wide foot or calf, so I could see how these might be very tight at first for someone who does. The calf area is adjustable, as the laces can be loosened. I would definitely recommend these. Oh, and they are super cute!

I have an older pair of Merrell boots and they have been amazing in snow and ice - they are like snow tires for the feet. These new Merrells are nicer looking, higher and are very warm. I feel very safe walking on the icy patches and deeper snow. I am very happy with them

This boot is great for snow, ice and slush--waterproof lower boot and warm. It runs small--order at least 1/2 size up and maybe more if you wear heavy socks. I usually wear with thin Smartwool socks and leggings or skinny jeans. It fits snug at ankle and calf which makes it less clunky looking to me than similar pac boots--the laces make the calf area adjustable & zipper make easy on and off. The really soft fake fur is cute and runs inside down the tongue and 4 " around the top. My feet are warm and dry in puddles 4" deep and deep snow doesn't seem to get in. The footbed is removable and toe area is ample. I'm happy with this boot in our extremely cold and snowy Chicago "polar vortex" winter.

I love these boots! I work outside a lot of the day and my feet stay warm. Very comfortable to walk in and not as heavy as other boots that I tried on. Easy to put on with the side zipper. Would recommend these boots!

I love my new boots! I got the silver lining ones and absolutely love them! They feel true to size. when I first got them out of the box, I thought to myself - they will have to go back. They seemed huge and I was almost sure they will look even bigger on my slim figure. I was wrong. They look absolutely gorgeous. I am not sure how warm they will be since I got it for our trip in January. If I am cold in them, one thing is for sure - I will look fabulous! And I absolutely love the zipper on the side - it is easy to get in and easy to get out. They are very comfortable, too.

These are really great! I thought I might not fit in the leg part because I didn't see that the front lace was real, the picture doesn't show the tie at the top. they are in fact, a true lace up with side zip which I love! I can adjust with the lace and keep these in place and just get into them with the zip easily. They are very warm! The faux fur goes way inside the boot. They are very sturdy lots of foot room for warm socks but not sure I'll need thick socks they are already so warm! I cannot wait to test these out in the snow!

These are warm snow boots. They come pre-laced, so they were kind of tight when I first put them on but they have laces to adjust. They haven't leaked at all. I have stood around the dog park for a long time in them and my feet have remained warm and dry. The fake fur looks fake, but that is what I was expecting and hoping for since I don't like real fur on my clothing. Overall I am glad that I have them. They are too warm to wear inside all day.

I like these boots, but not sure if i think they are "worth every dime." They definitely are weatherproof. They are pretty comfortable as well. They are a tad bulky around the area where the ankle & front foot meet up. (That can be adjusted somewhat by tying the laces tighter.) The brown boot is more solid (not 2 tone like photo). For me, they have so far been hard to find things to wear with that match & look good with them. Living in California they may not get much use for the money.

This boot is very nicely made, albeit the faux fur is a little "cheesy" looking compared to other faux fur I have purchased. The fit runs true to size and the color is great and goes with everything. The shaft runs quite tight which is great for my super skinny calves.

While I have not worn them outside yet (due to the sweltering summer heat), I have worn them about the house. These are great looking "Nanook of the North" type boots. they are well made and sturdy. I wear an 8 and they seem true to size. One caution - if you have calves that are even slightly bigger than the average stick model, these may be a little tough to zip. Luckily, there is also a pull-on and tie option.

Comfortable and look great. I haven't had a chance to wear them but around the house...it got oddly warm the past few weeks, so I'll have to come back when I've done more than just pranced around in the house!

Really wanted these boots to work out. They were comfortable and felt great but as someone else mentioned, if you plan on being in the snow more than a couple inches deep these aren't for you as the snow will probably get in through the front of the boot above the ankle.

I really wanted to keep these. I ordered a handful of boots including the Ugg Adirondack IIs, the Columbia Ice Maiden IIs, Merrell Decora Chants, and even the Kamik Momentums, and these were the cutest ones! Being Merrells, the footbed is super comfortable, and I like high laced boots (no, worries, there is a zipper for convenience, but the laces enable you to adjust for thin/thick calves). The only reason why I have to send them back is because I have "D" wide feet (these are standard "B"s I believe), and I even tried wearing them around the apt to break them in, but even for a few days of wearing them, they are still too suffocating and uncomfortable. I am so sad.

Unfortunately, I have to return them. First, I don't feel they would be warm enough for me to wear in a snowy winter (my feet are always cold), although you can tell they are waterproof - the bottom part is extremely well made. Second, they felt very stiff on the front around the ankle area, and I don't know if it's something that'd go away after wearing them for a while or not. Also, I have average calves, but I had to make these boots very loose in order to be able to zip them up after tucking my jeans in, and even then I was barely able to do so. Too bad as these boots are very stylish and well made.

I've worn these non-stop for 2 weeks and here are my impressions: 80% comfortable, 110% cute. I live in Manhattan (NYC) which is very cold and snowy this winter. Additionally, we use salt to melt snow/ice so we end up with a lot of slush and 4-6" puddles at corners. It's messy and I walk everywhere. In the very cold, the boots are warm enough. My feet are slightly cool feeling, not overheated and comfortable. When it's warmer, my feet are very warm but not overheated. The footbed is incredibly comfortable. Feels like a sneaker and the boot is light enough it acts like a sneaker when you decide to run in it (to catch a bus, etc.). Very nice. The ankle thing others have complained of is totally true. I wear an 8 normally and while the 8s fit my foot well, the ankle area was immediately uncomfortable/unwearable. In an 8.5" (these run a little small to me) I find they only hit my left ankle at times. If I adjust the laces so the boot is not super snug to my calf then they are okay enough. But really Merrell has a design flaw here. If I weren't desperate for boots and a size that is sold out of everywhere, I would have kept looking. That is my only complaint. They work GREAT in snow, totally did not feel the 6" puddles I just sloshed through walking home, are super cute, and feel pretty grippy to the ground MOST of the time. On ice, they are not great but I'm not sure what would be. Overall I'm pleased with these boots but they only get 4 stars due to the ankle issue. Bummer. Hopefully they will continue to wear in over time.

I really wanted to love this boot but the calf was very small. I have normal size calves. I had to loosen up the laces at the top so much (in order for the boot to zip all the way up) that they made by calves look huge. Since the ankle was normal the top calf part looked very disproportionate (like I had Popeye calves! which I don't). Going back.

Although I loved how these boots looked, I decided to return them because of the hard material in the back of the heel digging into my foot just walking around my carpeted cube for 2 minutes. Based on others reviews, this does not seem to go away even after trying to break them in. I am not going to attempt to break them in and just return them so I can find a more comfortable pair.

Calf is very tight on athletic build 125 lb woman. No room for tucking in. Too snug to be comfortable even with out tucking in.

They were super comfy and cute but I couldn't zip them over my calf. Way too tight up top and I have very average calves. They felt awesome in the foot bed - very comfy. I was bummed that they were too tight at the top.
