I'm 5 feet five ,112 pounds and have 8 1/2 size wide feet with a flat arch. Most importantly I have chronic back problems and have a job or where I have to be on my feet quite a lot. I picked these boots because I wanted something stylish and comfortable. I chose this after trying out 7 other boots and this one came out on top. It looks good and makes my wide feet feet seem narrow .It's very comfortable and I have only worn it for one full day with no problems . I plan to wear these with dress pants, suits and dresses . It's made of soft leather and I have also noted that shoes of similar design that are also made of soft leather start looking old and creased after just a few days of use but because of the way this is designed I'm not anticipating that problem . Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it .

I'm a 6.5 wide in Cobb Hill closed toe shoes/booties and these fit well with no break in time needed. I've purchased a spare pair. The Stone color works with almost everything.

Love, love, love. I have arthritis and flat feet, so I need good arch and ankle support. These fit the bill. I wore them all day right out of the box for a work event where I was on my feet all day, and they felt--and looked--great.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. The slight heel makes them perfect for work. They're like walking around on clouds. Great support too. I did go up a half size so I could wear them with thick socks. Highly recommended.

Initially got these boots in black and after wearing them for a few months (and loving them). I decided to order them in another color. Comfortable and fashionable!

Love this boot. Comfortable, fits as expected. The only thing that I would change, is at times with the more narrow heel compared to the boot shape, it can feel a bit unstable.

Absolutely loved these. They were comfortable right out of the box and the color was true to the picture. Normally wear a 10 in Cobb Hill shoes but needed a 10.5 in these.

Absolutely love the look of this boot! Sadly, my cranky feet and wonky knees rebelled against the heel height (which in the grand scheme of things, isn't that high). The heel felt vaguely unstable, which is the reason for the 4-star rating in comfort. I am sad to have to return these beauties. I hope they make someone else happy!

I wore this pair into the ground and am so happy that they are still available so I can order a new pair (3 years later!) Most comfortable boots I have ever had. My feet are really picky!

Loved these boots from the moment I put them on. Very comfortable. If you wear thick socks with your boots, order a half size up. So cute! Wear to work and with jeans.

These are really cute and comfortable. I wanted a cleaner look to go with my jeans, without sacrificing the comfort of sneakers, and these fit the bill perfectly. I've got two pairs in the black and teal, and have been tempted to get the brown. My mother liked them so much on me that she bought two pairs herself!

I LOVE these boots. I was pretty nervous about ordering them online but they fit perfectly and are really comfortable. I get tons of compliments on them when I wear them. They have a casual and hip look, and look great with skirts, jeans and leggings.

I bought these in Stone and I really like them. I have a very high instep and a wide foot so I ordered a half size up to accommodate but ended up exchanging them for my regular size. There is plenty of room over the top of my foot and they're not binding at all. I wear these all the time and my feet never hurt. The heel is a perfect height for wearing all day without being uncomfortable. My only complaint is the heel - they are slippery but the front of the foot has great traction.

These are great shoes. I already have them in teal and needed black. I decided to get the flats instead. I was tempted to keep these because they are so comfortable but I thought that was being a piggy.

I've been so busy wearing and testing out these boots, I finally thought it's time to make some comments! First, I must say that Zappos really bent over backwards to help me find a boot that would fit my size 11 medium foot. Thank you Zappos for the greatest customer service ever!! This Rockport Cobb Hill Alexandra is a very stylish ankle boot that looks good with tight velvet pants, regular yoga-type pants, jeans or even a long skirt. The leather quality is extremely high and does have a slight amount of give to it after wearing the boots a few times. Even though the leather is lined with a soft fabric, the slight "give" allowed one of my feet which is slightly larger, to feel comfortable after just a few wearings. I find the 1 1/2" heel height to be just perfect for a feminine look while still being able to easily walk in them. The zipper seems high quality also. The ruched and strap detailing is so much more interesting than a plain boot and it elicits the comment "cute" from my girlfriends and "honey, I really love those boots on you" from my very discerning husband! If Rockport were to ever make the outer sole of these a little thicker, you might be able to walk everywhere in these. Also, I have no heel slipage in these, which is so important. I just wear a lightweight non-itch wool sock with them for perfect warmth. Really, just save these for your best "casual" engagements so they always look brand new. Also, because they're ankle booties, come spring, you're be able to wear them for months! Ladies, don't hesitate with this boot. Better grab it while you can!! Satisfied customer.
