As a yoga teacher,I love this mat! I bought this mat to stay at my studio instead of brining my other Manduka mat with me all the time. It is fantastic!

I love manduka mats. I'm a yoga teaching in Nj and I feel that the pro is just sticky enough for me. I recommend the eco to all my students who are beginners and I recommend the pro for those who have been practicing a while. The black mat pro is tough enough to stand up to a lifetime of regular practice.

I love this mat. It feels right. However, since it was so expensive I wish I would have spent the extra 30 bucks or so and got the long size. I'm 5'10 and the standard is about as long as me, but a few extra inches would have been nice. Overall, loving the mat!

Love it but remeber to cleaning first with salt and water

So far I love the manduka PRO black mat. I salted it when I first got it, and I use it every morning and night for a few rounds of sun salutations, I noticed after I run it was a little slippery, so I will be salting it again with sea salt soon. I dont notice any slip when Im not sweaty. Its the most comfortable yoga mat Ive ever practiced on. Thanks Manduka!

Im so happy I decided to get this. Its easier on my ankles with the extra padding. It is a little bit heavy but I expected that with the extra cushioning

Bought this as a beginner. Use it for yoga, stretching, etc.

I bought this mat one month ago. First, the delivery was super quick! Second, the mat was so comfortable when I kneel down on it. My knees didn't feel hurt at all! It almost like a mattress for me. Sometimes, I just sleep on it for one hour to get relax. I use this mat at home and bought another lighter Manduka mat to use at studio.

I bought a black mat pro as my first ever yoga mat. After a lot of research I found that one would be good for my knees as I use yoga to get fit after a sports injury. The mat is great and I love using it each day. My wife's mat was terrible in comparison so I got her one too.

I bought this mat as I often practice on concrete. I use my ProLite on wood or hardwood floors and it's fine for that but the Pro is a knee-saver on harder surfaces. I'm even able to take headstand on concrete with this mat-no problem. It's a lot heavier than my ProLite, but performs exactly how it should.

I was in need of a new mat that could handle all environments and travel well, this mat lives up to all expectations

I bought this mat a month ago and I can't believe how much I love it. The grippiness of it is excellent and the mat feels as if I am connected to the floor but protected at the same time. I didn't need to do the salt prep to break in the mat. My hands and feet get damp but I noticed no problems with the mat. A great product.

Don't know why i waited so long to buy it. It's worth every penny. Could tell the difference from other mats the first time i used it.

I bought this mat for my boo because he wanted to start doing yoga with me. I have the Manduka PRO extra long. We love our mats! Great grip, sturdy, supportive of the joints. I love it! Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade from the cheap Gaiam mats lol.

I have had this mat for five months, and absolutely adore it!

Hefty, thick and for me fab... no need for a blanket to cushion knees or in head stand and other yoga poses. I do call my Mat "The Beast." It does weigh more than other mats, something to consider if you travel with your mat.

I recently completed my 200 hr yoga training in the northeast. It seemed 'everyone' in class was buying another, well respected brand of mat. Something (karma) told me to wait. On a business trip to CA, they offered yoga during our morning conference session. The teacher supplied Manduka mats. From the moment my feet hit the mat, I was at home! I couldn't wait to order my very own Manduka. My mat is well cushioned, stays put, and I don't find my hands or feet slipping. I love my Manduka almost as much as I love my yoga practice.

I have been sweating and working on this mat now for about 4 months and I find this mat to be worth every penny and more. I will buy another if and when this mat gives up the ghost.

I own a private training studio and I purchased the Manduka PRO mat for my clients to use for all activities abs, yoga, lifting weights, pilates; Manduka PRO 5mm is has the perfect amount of thickness to protect my clients spine and hips when performing mat work. Also, NO slipping on Manduka PRO even when clients are drenched in sweat. They enjoy them so much at my studio, clients buy them for home use or group training classes.

Bought the mag almost a year ago still looks like the first day. Perfect grip. 100% recommendation

Good thickness. Surface is great, once the new mat is broken in.
