I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis (PF) this winter, but i had cheapy slippers and spend a considerable amount of time in my slippers. So I decided to get something of quality. I tried some much more expensive kinds, but these were the ones with real arch support. First, I have to say these have the most pronounced and rigid arch support of any footware I've ever put on. If you're looking for soft and cushy, these are not them. Second, yes they do take a little time (a day or two) to get used to, at which point I was hooked. I'm not sure if they are curing my PF, but they are the one piece of footware I can put on guaranteed not to aggravate it. Based on my experience with these slippers, I ordered the orthaheel insert to try in other shoes of mine. While they are better than the drugstore models, they are not nearly as good as the inserts in these slippers. I wish they sold these inserts separately. But I'm real glad to have found these.

These are really great! I found them to be small and had to go a size up from my open toe vionic slippers. The arch is a bit awkward at first. I wore them for an hour or two a day until my arch got used to the fantastic support. Now I wear them all day - every day!

I have really bad bunions. I've worn the flip flops from Orthaheel for years with great success. The footbed on these slippers feels a little stiffer but they have been just as comfortable.

Fabulous slippers! The arch support in these will definitely take some getting used to but once you have worn them for some time, you'll slip into them every time you take your shoes off. Warm, comfortable and good for your feet which is good for your entire body!

The arch support is really noticeable but for me it's perfect. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these offer great support. It does take a little getting used to. I wish they offered more colors, I'd buy another pair.

I love these slippers! No issues with flat, thin slippers that can be a problem with plantar fasciitis.

I love orthaheel and have many of their sandals and another pair of their slippers. Good arch support. Unfortunately, these have a narrow toe box unlike the other orthaheel slippers that I have. The rear foot of the shoe is wide.

After several weeks, the shoes are still in good shape and still fit well. Definitely have defined arches and good support. May take some getting used to.

Very firm inner sole with not much bottom cushion, but arch support has eased my plantar fascitis a lot so really appreciate these slippers. Sturdy enough outer sole for brief outside wear. Fits my wide feet too.

I was hoping these would work out but they didn't so I had to return them. The insert hurt my feet when I had them on. Here I go again looking for the perfect slipper - I'm on the hunt for comfort and warmth.

AWESOME. These are as comfy as an UGG but with arch support and much cuter on. I bought my regular size and it fit perfect. No break in time. These are not just slippers; I wear them everywhere. I hope Orthaheel makes these a regular style.

Love the no skid bottom, arch support is great and the heel cup really controls pronation. And they are warm and fuzzy. What more could you ask for?

Going bare foot around the house was just killing my feet and I would be dead tired and feet very sore by the end of the day so I ordered these slippers. I did order a size down like the other reviewers recommended and they fit well. I have been wearing them around the house and I must say my feet do not hurt at all at the end of the day. They do have a lot of arch support and it takes a little bit to get used to but they are wonderful! I can't believe the difference in how my feet feel. I will definitely order them again.

I just got these today, and have had them on ever since! They will be my go-to shoe around the house. They feel great on my feet and heels, and are very soft and cozy on the inside. As for the size, I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, but I bought the size 8 after reading another review. Glad I did - they even are a bit roomy for me in an 8. I will be able to wear socks if I want.

I just got my slippers today, and they are an answer to prayer! I have been battling plantar fasciitis, and I wanted something comfortable, supportive, and without straps or laces that I could wear inside the house. I really think these will be perfect. I've been wearing them all day, and my feet feel great. If this continues, I'll be buying apair of Orthaheel shoes as well.

I'm a 7.5. The 8 was too big & floppy; the 7 is a tad tight. I'm sticking with the 7 and hoping it will stretch a bit. Also note: the arch is quite high. I have a normal arch and it was a little painful for me. I took it out and put in a gel insole instead. Either way, my feet feel are lot more supported and more comfortable on hardwood floors. The slipper is also a bit narrower than most slippers.

These slippers fit well. I just don't like how hard the sole feels. By the end of the day, I just want my feet to relax a bit. They're very supportive which is what I need for my arches, yet not quite as warm as I had hoped for.

Due to severe lower back issues, I'm completely hooked on the Orthaheel technology. I've given this 4 out of 5 stars because it felt a half-size smaller in length, which affects the comfort -- so you'll want to buy the next, larger size (don't remember if they offer half-sizes, but I don't think so). The style is anything but "pretty", but I didn't get it for looks. The hard, rubber sole offers perfect support, and the stretch-band near the top offers a comfortable fit. If you aren't familiar with Orthaheel, give yourself some time to adjust to the high arch. That arch is exactly what aligns your legs, knees and back, but it does take some getting used to. Don't get discouraged and keep wearing them and you'll find the alignment this technology offers is unlike ANY insert you can use, including those specifically designed for your foot by a specialist!

I like that the shoe arch pushes up my arch. With severe plantar fasciitis any lift is a good lift. If you can work with that, the slipper is sturdy and comfortable. I ordered a size down from normal and it worked fine - but I also don't wear socks with them. I gave the slippers four stars because, well, after all, they are slippers.

This is the first pair of slippers that I've tried on that has arch support, which I need. I liked the slippers, but the support was a little too firm. I normally wear a size 7, but this size 7 seemed a half size too large. Back to Zappos it goes.

This slipper offers a lot of support which makes it a winner around the house. When you first put it on it feels like there is a rocky ridge in the middle -- after an hour it makes your foot feel great.

Looking for a slipper with support. Love the look of these and the overall feel, but the size is not right and the arch support is to pointed. Am disappointed because really do like the look and wanted these slippers to work. Am returning them and trying other brands with support.

Per the Geneva slipper, I've had a couple pair of Orthaheel mule slippers previously. Those had the solid arch support that I expect with the thongs that I also buy. While these slippers are good, they missed the boat on the arch support. There is just an odd little round ball-like area that helps some but is not all that comfortable. The style is fine and the soles are good for a short walk outside.
