I had long wanted to try Dansko shoes, and I liked this particular style because it seemed a little less "clunky" than some of their other shoes. When it arrived, it looked exactly as I had hoped - appropriate for both work (with dress pants) or play. Unfortunately, the 38 would not even go on my foot, though I typically wear a size 8. I returned with no problem and ordered a 39 instead; they still do not properly fit my foot. I have a high arch and subsequent "thick" foot, so sometimes I do have issues with shoes fitting too snugly across the top; but I'm not sure why a full size larger, (especially when there are two "vents" that should allow for a little extra room precisely where I need it) does not fit. A 40 may fit across the top, but would flop on my toes like clown shoes! I am very disappointed to be returning returning these yet again. I guess I need to continue my Dansko search in another style.

Very supportive shoe! I just started an internship at a hospital and am on my feet constantly. My feet, legs, and back thank me every day. Take caution though, they did need to be broken in a bit. I purchased the shoe several weeks in advance and wore them to my other job. I'm glad I did because it loosened them up perfectly before I had to wear them for 10-12 hours at a time. In addition to being a well-made shoe it is attractive and stylish. I wear them with jeans as well for a polished look.

As a 5'1 flight attendant I need my heels. I told myself I would never wear Danskos however these are not your typical looking clogs. They were recommended by another FA and geez they feel amazing. I work 14 hour days and walk miles so it feels like a little piece of heaven when I get to slip into my Danskos. I'm a true 5.5 with narrow feet so I ordered a size 35 because I read that these can stretch out a little. They were a little snug but within days they fit my feet perfect. I almost feel like they've started to correct my bunion on my right foot. My foot used to ache days after I've left work and now my feet never hurt! If you're on your feet a lot I recommend these shoes! It's not worth having ugly achy feet.

Danskos basically cured my plantar fasciitis, so I'm very loyal to the brand. I was nervous to order these because of all the reviews that mentioned how narrow they are. I usually wear regular width, but in some shoes I'm a wide. So I was skeptical, but I loved the shoes and decided to give them a try. First I ordered a size up, which didn't work, and then I got my usual size. They are more narrow and snug than other Danskos, but I kept mine and wore them and they stretched out a bit and were perfect (although I still prefer to wear thinner socks with them). Cute with Dansko legendary comfort. I totally love them.

1. I have 10+ pairs of Danskos and always order UP one size if I get a style with the newer, "contoured" footbed (i.e compare these Tamara Danskos to a traditional Professional style and you'll see the Professional does not have the carved out area between the footbed and the heel). 2. I have wide, flat feet (and I use orthotics) and never have a problem with my Danskos stretching to fit my foot comfortably, which is why I buy them over and over again. 3. I LOVE the Tamara! The seam down the middle of the top of the footbed gives the shoe a much narrower look than a traditional Dansko clog, which not only looks dressier but also helps my wide feet not look quite so huge. 4. I am so happy they made an upgrade to this style: I had this same style years ago but instead of a side BUCKLE detail, they were designed with a BUTTON. The button looked great but fell off after a year of use and could not be fixed! I bought these immediately after I saw the re-design.

I have these in brown and black. I have worn both pairs for over a year, and aside from scuffing (which I have polished away several times successfully and is totally my fault as I brush my feet together as I walk!), they still look and feel great! I have a partially-corrected bunion on one foot, very bad knees, hips, and back, and I can wear these for hours with no pain. I also have very high arches, but these have the elastic at the arch that eliminates that issue for me. I started wearing Dansko clogs to work as a nurse, and I have slowly been building my shoe wardrobe to be solely Danskos (pun intended). These are among my favorites. I have worn them with everything from jeans to nice slacks. I usually do not review anything, but I felt compelled to write this as I cannot recommend them enough! Note: I usually wear a size 7, and have bought 38 for all my Danskos with success except for my professional clogs, which are size 37 (and are also wider than my other Danskos: Tamara, Sally, Tara, Riki, and Felicia).

This is my third purchase from the Dansko family, and the cutest pair yet. I have been wearing the Tamara to work for about 6 months now. I work 14 hour shifts as a pharmacist standing and walking. These shoes hold up to the challenge. It took a few weeks to break in completely, but after that the comfort level is 5 stars. It has a little bit of lift with the heel, which is a bit different than the Pros. By the end of the day there is a very slight tenderness of the heel due to the lift but worth it for the style. It is made better by more movement throughout the day. I will be reordering these again when the time comes for sure.

Seriously comfortable with good arch support. The only non-frumpy work-acceptable shoe that does not aggravate my plantar problem. Tiny slit with elastic on top is ingenious. You want a good gap in back. In local store, I bought a size too small because salesperson told me this style of Dansko should fit snug like a normal shoe, not like a clog. They were wrong. I bought a size up from Zappos with a gap in back and they are awesome. (I normally wear size 7.5-8 ladies and the right Dansko size is a 39.) I wear them almost every day.

This is my first pair of the Tamara style. The fit is very different from the Professional style that I have worn for at least 10 years. Choosing the right size for me has been a little tricky so I thought my experience might help others with their purchase. Here's the back story - My usual shoe size is 10½ - 11, depending on the style. Unfortunately, my size is often just between two sizes of shoe. I purchased my first pair of Dansko Professional when I had to work at a lot of trade shows, which required standing all day. In addition to the excellent support for my feet, legs and back, these shoes have enough height that my business pants (usually worn with heels) did not drag the ground when I changed from my business heals. It was easy to slip out of my clogs and back into heals (without having to change clothes) when I needed to attend more formal meetings. They are also excellent for travel - easy to walk long distances and slip off quickly to get through airport security. Whether I was working at a trade show or standing in my kitchen, my Danskos have been my staple shoe. I read that the Tamara ran more narrow than the Professional, which was appealing (I wear narrow in the Professional). I normally wear regular width shoes but the regular Professional was just to floppy for comfort. I had forgotten that I had purchased one size up in the Professional so I could wear the narrow width and I ordered the same size in the Tamara. The length in the 42 Tamara was fine when I first put it on but after walking around the house for a little while I thought it was just too floppy for me to walk securely. I decided to order one size down to compare. Although the 41 is slightly snug with my winter socks, it isn't too tight and I suspect it will stretch with wear. I wear my Dansko clogs year round - often with light socks in the spring and summer so I'm shifting to the smaller size. Others have commented that the Tamara is narrower than the Professional (which is true) but the leather did stretch a little to fit their foot so I am taking that advice. Although I've read that the heal should slip a little, I need the shoe to stay in place so I can move about confidently. My last pair of Professionals has literally fallen apart (from years of hard work and wear) and I miss them. I think the more tailored look of the Tamara will be more flexible. I will try them for a while and decide whether I also need another pair of Professionals! It seems that the narrow width in Professionals is only available in limited styles - I am hoping the Sleeker look of the Tamara will work for me.

The suede makes the shoe easier to conform to the unique shape of my feet. The generous shoe box leaves room for my wide foot. Very comfortable with good arch support. The style allows for informal or formal outfits. I ordered a second pair!

I'm a physical therapist and sometimes do marketing. I needed a shoe that could transition well from a marketing lunch to patient care. I've had these shoes for a week and worn them 4 days. After wearing 12 hours, I notice the narrow toe box everyone speaks of but I've had them on all day. I love them and would not hesitate to buy another pair. They are perfect with dress pants, jeans or scrub pants. I do have to wear trouser socks compared to thicker socks with professional Dansko clogs.

I have had the Dansko clogs in the past, but have developed some foot issues recently. My doctor wanted more stability around my ankle and heel, and my previous clogs weren't cutting it. The Tamara, however, has been wonderful! Stylish, great comfort and support, and no more sliding around like in my old clogs (which I adored as well). Will be ordering again in different colors.

These shoes are so comfortable. I work at a hospital and on the days I wear these I don't notice my feet or back hurting at all! Recently having trouble with my SI joint, I was looking for a perfect shoe that would look great with trouser style pants and these are it!

Fantastic shoe. Feels like a clog but dressy enough to wear with suits. Extremely comfortable to walk miles through airports! Love this shoe.

As usual I love these shoes! To be serious, I no longer buy any other brand of shoe than Dansko- they are really that good. I have been buying these shoes for many years.I am on my feet all day probably walking miles and miles. I would never give them up. This shoe seems true to size and the buckle really works! My fellow co-workers always notice my shoes and I tell them that Dansko on Zappos is the only way to go.

really wanted to like this shoe. I wear the Dansko Professionals for work and love them so was looking for something less clunky looking for everyday wear. This has the looks, but as others have said, it runs small. I usually wear a sz 10 so I got the 41. It was way too tight across the top of my foot and made my toes start to turn numb after about 10 min. So I got the 42s. Still snug across the top of my foot. The length of the shoe was fine and actually was loose (like a clog, that's ok)even more when I went up a sz. Its more a top to bottom fit. If I go up another sz, I think they will be way too long and I'll be walking out of the shoe. Sad to say the 42s are going back too. For a shoe at this price, I need a shoe that actually fits!

These seem heavy and clunky compared to other clogs I own. They also slip on my heel making my light socks scrunch down. I was told there would be some movement on my heel - but I wound up with blisters as a result. They are cushy on the footbed and a fairly attractive shoe. Have good arch support. But would not make the investment in them again.

I love Danskos shoes overall but these have one thing that keep me from wearing them everyday. The insole is not removable. And I mean, NOT. I need to put in an orthotic but the insole is glued heavily. My other Danskos are great. Think I have the Veda tennis shoes. I wear those every day but sadly I can't he Tamara.

This is a very attractive shoe in person but it runs very small. I purchased this shoe for my Mom who has difficult to fit feet. She has wide feet and high arches, this shoe does not fit her until she goes 2 sizes up from her normal Dansko size. By then it looks quite long and large on the foot. The arch support is much better than other Dansko styles however and it is too bad it does not come in a wide size, I think that would make it look better in larger sizes.

I wanted to try a pair of Dansko shoes, as I am on my feet all day. I just had both knees replaced and I thought a good pair of shoes might help build up my muscle strength while cushioning my new knees. (It's been a while since I've walked normally) I usually wear a 10W or 11 in either Clarks or Born, so I started with the size 42 (10.5-11), returned them and exchanged for the size 43 (11.5-12) It was immediately clear I wasn't getting these on my feet, no matter how hard I tried, even after I went up a full size. I have a high instep, wide front foot and narrow heel, but these were too narrow and rigid to even get the front part of my foot in!! I see now there is even a larger size offered, but I'm not sure I even want to try. For now, I'll stick with Clarks or Born.

The jump from 39 to 40 is too much. I wear a 9 US. The 39 feels have size too short and almost too narrow, but that may stretch. The 40 nearly falls off my foot! I love the look of these shoes and want to keep. The arch support is tops, but I may send back. They cost too much to take a chance.

These are beautiful shoes, but unusually narrow for Danskos. I love Dansko shoes and have owned clogs, sandals, heels, etc. over the last years. I am a 40 or a 41, and ordered the 41. I do have somewhat wide feet, but I usually wear regular width shoes. I could barely get these on. I am returning them, sadly - they are adorable in person, I wish that I could keep them.
