Ay, Ay, Ay! Do not be fooled by the buckle. The video gives the impression that it stretches because the buckle opens but it is only decorative. These are going back. Too tight! So far there is no cute one in the website.

I bought these to replace an older style of Danskos which is no longer made - which I just loved. These are much different in fit. The toe box is a lot narrower and really did not work for me. I will be returning these. Wish they still had the old fit!

I'm always on the lookout for comfortable yet stylish shoes. As a teacher, I spend a lot of time walking and standing on concrete floors. Dansko is my go-to brand. I love the styling and sole of this shoe. However, it felt too tight across the top of my foot. I wore them for an hour around the house hoping to loosen them up a bit, but that did nothing to relieve the tightness. I can't justify spending this much on shoes that I can only wear for an hour at a time. Zappos, they're coming back to you!

I had the Tamaras in the previous version with the button and really liked the sleeker look of them in comparison to the professionals, although they do require a period of breaking in that the professionals do not. After over 5 years of comfortable full day wear at least 60% of the week, they were finally looking a little worn and I bought these to replace them. Same fit and style, but Dansko must have changed the finish/treatment of the leather because this version SMELLS! I have worn Danskos daily for work on my feet for the last 10 years (I won't wear anything else for comfort's sake) and have NEVER had this problem, but now I am skittish about purchasing another pair. I thought the smell would wear off, but after several months it is still so strong that I can smell it when I am standing up. I hope that this is not a new trend, I love my Danskos so much and am not sure what I am going to do if I have to figure out another shoe, but the stink is unbearable, which is a shame since they are so pricey and now I can't return them. Worth the money if they weren't so smelly.

Overall the shoes are supper small. Could not fit my foot in. I ordered a bigger size, just in case, and couldn't believe How tight they were. I ended up purchase A shoe stretcher just so I could wear them to work. Not happy.

My other Dansko Shoes blew me away. These not so much. Not comfortable for standing long periods of time. Bought for a trade show. Sores on my heel and can't return since I wore them.

I have high arches. Usually Danskos are very supportive and comfortable for me. I liked the style of this shoe but it did not feel like it had any arch support and felt narrow and tight across my foot. I am having to return them.

I have owned roughly 8-10 pairs of Danskos over the years, mostly shoes of this type in the mules/clogs family, but also a number of pairs of sandals and mary janes. I recently ordered these and a pair of Dansko sandals in my usual size, a 40, and they arrived today. When I put them on, I couldn't believe how narrow and tight they felt- my feet felt like they were being strangled! The sandals were no better, with the straps cutting into my feet to the point I could barely even put them on. At first, I thought the issue was with my feet, but I also ordered a pair of Ecco sandals in a 40 with this order, and they fit perfectly. Both of my Dansko pairs are going back and I'm not sure I'll even both reordering them in a bigger size, which is such a shame!

This shoe is a bit narrow and stiff across the middle of my foot. It is very light weight but overall has a plastic feel. I am returning them.

I love Dansko's but not these. I normally wear a 41 (which is what I ordered here) and actually found them a little big. These shoes are so narrow I could barely get them on with no socks on. Although the style is cute they are way too narrow. Back they go!

I thought I would try these because they were less "clunky" than regular Dansko professionals but they do not fit me at all. Small, narrow, short. Cute as can be though!

I like the style of these - they are less clunky looking than many Danskos. I really wanted to love these shoes but they are quite a bit narrower than any Dansko I've worn in the past. I couldn't keep these on for more than a few minutes before I wanted them off again. I don't have particularly wide feet (I always wear regular width shoes), so you might want to avoid these unless your feet are narrow.

Well these are the first shoes I've ever bought online. Now I know why I never did. I have a narrow-mid size 12 foot. so I bought a size 13 (43) and they are way too small, too narrow and too short. Now I have to go through the hassle of ordering another pair. There just isn't anywhere around where I live to find shoes big enough. Sigh. I don't doubt they may be comfy, but make sure you get 2 sizes bigger than you actually are.

I have another pair of Dansko shoes (in brown) that I just love and wanted to get another style in black. I ordered the same size as my other Danskos and couldn't even get my foot into them because they were so narrow. I returned those for a larger size to see if that would give me any more width and although longer, they were no more wider. I am so disappointed because I really like the style and thought that they would fit like my other Danskos. I'm frustrated that the sizes and widths vary between shoes of the same brand. I have a high wide foot and wish that Dansko offered wide widths to accommodate their classic design that goes over the top of the foot. I thought these with the elastic in the center seam would help but I believe the shoe is just too narrow to begin with. Unfortunately, I will have to look at other brands.

These did not feel like Danskos...very tight and very light. They were .5 to a whole size smaller than I'm used to, and I buy and wear a lot of Danskos. The 39 I ordered and wear consistently might need to be a 40 or 41, but I'm sending them back because they're also too insubstantial in the heel/footbed. I like the heavy clunky massage action I get from other styles--these didn't cut it.

I just received my order. The shoes are so small that I couldn't even get my feet into it. I literally though that they send one or two sizes smaller than I ordered, but no. The sizing info is unreliable and i am very disappointed right now. I was going to wear these shoes for a presentation out of ton and now I have to send them back and go out shoe shoppiing in a retail store. Very unhappy customer here. I hope Dansko reads this, since all the fault lies with them, none with Zappos. I don't know the arch support btw since I couldn't get my foot in the shoe.

I ordered these shoes in a 38 and also a 39. I normally wear a size 8.5 in shoes. I love Dansko shoes, but I have to say that for me personally these did not fit my feet right. The 38 was too small and the 39 was way too big for me and felt uncomfortable. I had to return these, but they were beautiful shoes.

I have been waiting YEARS (because I could not find size 35 nubuck) to replace my original size 35 nubuck Dansko's that I LOVE. Only to get a beautiful new pair in size 35 that are so big they won't stay on my feet. What a disappointment! Regretfully, back they go. I'm giving up on Danskos. Give us size 5's a break. MAKE MORE AND MAKE THEM SMALL. THE BIG FOOTERS HAVE A ZILLION CHOICES.

These shoes run very small. I am a 9-1/2 and ordered the 9-12/10 and I could not get my foot into the shoe at all. Very cute and typically Dansko is extremely comfortable shoe. Order a size larger.

Sadly I had to return my shoes. I ordered these in a size 40 (US 9½ to 10) and they were two sizes two small. I did not even get my foot in. The size chart is way off!
