Have 10 pairs of professional (originals). Love the look of the leopard calf hair. However, the fur is wearing off of the toes on both shoes. Very limited wearing, only on dry days. They really are comfy and were nice looking before they started going bald.

I love wearing the Professionals but I work in an office and was looking for something a little dressier. I like the look of the Dansko Prima but Oh My Goodness what is tight on the top of my foot! And more loose than the Professional in my heel. Terrible fit.

The Prima fit longer and narrower than the typical Dansko shoes. I had a ½" gap at the back of the shoe, and the more narrow toe box pinched the bunion of my right foot, which is my wider foot. I have six pairs of Danskos. All of them are size 37, and fit similarly on my feet; they provide ample room in the toe box to accommodate my bunions, and have a little space in the back that provides a little slip which I like. I felt like I was standing in a kayak with the Primas: long and narrow. If you do not have wide feet, I would recommend going down one size. I am a size 6W, with mild bunions.

Disappointed. Based on the Professional model, these shoes are wide in the heel. The dressier profile is achieved by a narrower instep that rubbed my feet raw. The skin on my instep had nearly blistered after a long day of wear, and much of the day was spent in a chair! I'm not ready to give up on Dansko. I'm donating my gently used Primas and trying different style.

I was surprised how narrow these are. If you're used to the feel of the old school Dansko clog, this isn't quite it. Narrower, and more curved under the ball of the foot so you walk with more rocking than even the standard clog. I'm going back to the old stand by. They are kind of cute, though.

I have worn Dansko shoes for nearly 10 years. This is the second pair I ordered this month and both run so small I can not wear them. I will try another brand.

I thought these Dansko animal prints were the cutest of the cute, but alas! They are not for anyone with a high instep. They were so tight across the instep that I had to return them. Curiously enough, the right show also seemed quite a bit shorter than the left. I'd blame it on my feet, but I've never had this happen before in all of my years of shoe buying. 5 stars for style, 1 star for fit.

I love the look of this shoe, but it aggravated my plantar fasciitis, so I will have to return them and buy a pair of the old style Pros! I'm on my feet too much in a day at work to keep them!

The curved up pointed toe makes them look like elf shoes. Also, the leather is hard as a rock with no flexibility. The footbed was comfortable but that's all. I returned these elf shoes. I got the "Soft Baize," which were much more comfortable & less expensive.

I'm really disappointed with these. I started buying danskos at tack stores back in the 90s when they were really a niche product for the horsey set. After 15 years I decided to try something new and went for the Prima, hoping for the same quality and comfort in something "stylish." The trimmer fit is slightly less utilitarian than the professional, but the toe box is really narrow (not a complaint I often make) and the quality is just horrid. I'm replacing these after about 10 weeks when usually I get at least 6-9 months out of a pair (nearly daily wear).

As a loyal Dansko customer for 15+ years, I was excited to try a more stylish version of their traditional clog. As usual, the support and comfort these shoes provide is astounding. However, after 3 weeks of wear around the house (on maternity leave from my job as a teacher), I was aghast to notice a bald spot wearing through the faux calf hair on the top of the left big toe. Even though I purchased these on sale, when I pay that much for a pair of shoes, I find it depressing that they look 3 years old after just 3 weeks! They will definitely not be going back to work with me this spring. Buyer, beware the calf hair!

Well... this is the first time Dansko has disappointed me. Compared to my other Dansko's these just don't fit the same. They are narrower and lower in the toe box, and just not as comfortable. Still a Dansko fan, just not these.

The good part...I have a narrow-ish size 8 foot and found a perfect fit with a size 38 Prima. The bad part...the Prima sole delaminates, exposing the foam interior which soaks up water, holds rocks, looks nasty and further degrades. I thought the first pair was just defective. A second pair has exhibited the same problem - in less than 4 months wear each. Zappos refunded one pair, which takes the bite off a bit. I will not buy them again, though. Hopefully others with similar experiences will share and Dansko will rectify this unfortunate problem with an otherwise comfortable and attractive clog.

Very disappointed. I just received my Dansko Prima shoes. I attempted to try them on. No go. I am saddened that there seems to be no company willing to cater to women of large shoe size. This shoe was more like an American Woman's size 9.

I didn't care for the way these felt. The heel slipped & it didn't seem as though the leather on the back of the heal came up as far as on my other Dansko's (including the Tamara). They also looked a little wider & overall didn't feel as comfortable as I would've expected.

Too much arch support. The shoes are adorable, but the high arches hurt my feet after a short amount of time. Eventually my shins would ache too from wearing these shoes. I had to return them.
