First of all, I have to give kudos to Zappos for being the absolute best company for online shopping!!! Please please please never change! I am so grateful for free shipping and returns (no risk shopping) and the lightening speed delivery!!! The Dansko Primas are my 7th pair of Danskos within the past 8-10 years. I need to wear this type of shoe for work. This newer model permits me to get a little more style to go along with the comfort and practicality compared to older models. The arch support is amazing even better than the older models. They also look so much better with my Express Editor dress pants than my older Danskos. The Dansko Prima does run larger than any other Dansko shoe I have worn. I always wear 37 (6.5-7), and this time the 37's fit like large boats!! The heel is wide and there was at least a cm gap between my heel and the end of the shoe, but I reordered and got a 36 and they fit perfectly. The bonus was the first pair was delivered in 39 hours and the second pair was delivered in less than 24 hours! I highly recommend this shoe as a stylish comfort shoe, but order one size smaller than normal.

Love these! I have lived in Danskos for years, and these might be my favorites. Very comfortable, with a kicked-up style. Pointy-ish toes, and cut out soles, neither of which sacrifice comfort at all. I have the black patent and just received the cheetahs...and if they add other colors, I'm in trouble! What can I say about Zappos? I'm a woman of a certain age, as they say, and have never, ever dealt with a business as smart. Customer service exponentially above the next nearest contender. I am forever loyal, and nominate the brains behind Zappos to be King/Queen of the Universe.

My poor little body has been falling apart the past five years. I have been through back surgery, knee surgery, a broken back (after the back surgery!), tarsal tunnel syndrome in my feet with a side of piriformis for good measure and let's throw in fibromyalgia for good measure. I basically became a human being who was disabled, could barely walk a step, yet had half of her life still ahead to live. I overheard two women talking about Dansko and how it changed their lives. I had heard the name; possibly even mentioned by my podiatrist. I would not have had that kind of money, but divine intervention played out so it was tax season and I had a refund coming. I knew this was the one. I got it in black tooled floral. It is so freaking beautiful! No, I have never bought this nice a pair of shoes, and I understand you get what you pay for - but this is special. My foot slid in like a well-broken-in shoe. I felt solid arch support, and even better, ankle support. My accident-prone self wasn't going anywhere! I stood up and felt so tall! I have only been able to wear flats since the injuries. Walking around all day, I did not feel the pain and fatigue that I have lived with for so long. This is life-changing for me, and I am already looking into my next purchase. Not to mention, these Primas are so stinking cute!

Fabulous shoe! Loved them right out of the box! I have worn Dansko for years, I am a hair stylist and they are the most comfortable shoes ever for standing long hours. Was thrilled when I saw a more updated style, I will be ordering more colors...keep up the good work Dansko. Also Zappos is AWESOME! I received them the next day! I ordered the same size as the professional clog, 39, I wear a 8.5 - 9, they fit great!

I LOVE THIS CLOG! I have wanted a pair of Dansko but couldn't get past the price. I finally decided I could swing it mostly because the style was so unique. My foot slipped in with no problem and they are my go-to shoe! One comment about sizing- I typically wear an 11 so I ordered the 41 and it fit perfectly. I then purchased another Dansko clog in 41 but my toes rubbed the front and had to be returned. I figured out that this particular style has a little more room for toes so I could go with a size lower. As I said, the style is lovely and it is SO comfortable.

I am a music teacher and needed something a little dressier than my regular professional Dansko clog for field trips and performances with my students. They held up like a champ on the NYC sidewalks and my feet felt great, even the first time I wore them!

I have been a barista for 5 years with sprinklings of waitress stints for several years more and spend immense periods of time on my feet, both moving quickly and standing still. Both can be miserable if your shoes are poor fitting. I became a Dansko believer after my chronic knee pain, quadriceps tendinitis, and back pain were (basically) cured after 2 days of wearing Dansko's Chukka style shoe that has the stapled clog structure but laces on the top of the foot. I have very high arches but smaller insteps so the traditional stapled clog has posed problems for me when I tried them in the past-they really did engulf my foot, and the narrows were very narrow and obviously for people with notably problematic tiny feet not just barely narrow feet like mine. That said, when I saw this newer style I noted that the sleeker more feminine profile also provided a slightly less boxy shape around the instep. They fit perfectly! Loose in the heel, fitted loosely but presently on the instep, and they feel the same as any other Dansko clog in the toe box. The patent has a sleek profile for my upscale coffee shop and I feel more girly with the emphasized heel that actually doesn't have any more height than their stapled clog. To be fair I am partial to Euro style in general and many women aren't, but when you compare these clogs side by side with the traditional stapled clog, these are immensely cuter and have almost exactly the same feel. I will note for customers new to Dansko clogs that sizing up if you are a half sizer like myself is recommended. I most commonly wear shoes sized 7-7.5 but find that I need a 38 (in all Dansko clog styles I have tried) to keep my toes from bumping up to the toe box and to keep my heel from touching the back at all (or you'll get major blisters). I get compliments on them all the time, which does surprise me a little bit, but I think there are a ton of people who are secretly hoping to be confident enough to wear shoes that are less high fashion and more body recovering. Besides the style, and the more appropriate fit for my high arch but low instep, this is the same ole' Dansko stapled clog you all know and love. It just looks better with skirts. And pants. And...

I bought these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis. They are very stiff for quite a while but my feet are very happy. The heel of the shoe is not supposed to stay put, something I learned, it is supposed to allow the heel of your foot to move up and down freely. You need to only wear them for short periods of time in the beginning to allow your foot time to adjust to them. I'm still not able to be on my feet for longer than 4 hours. I'm told nurses and hairdressers love these so I'm sticking to them. Besides they feel great. I'm just not accustomed to such a long break in period. I bought the 8-9 size and it is fine. I normally wear American size 9.

Love this shoe! From the moment I started wearing them, they have given me great comfort. I am on my feet all day long, and was very surprised that my back wasn't about to break! I am a big believer in the Dansko brand and use them for my work shoe always. Thank you Zappos for making my life just that much easier!

I ordered these along with the Dansko Professional. The Prima's have a much better fit and are more comfortable. They are more flattering and I love the Cheetah print. Being a hair-stylist and bartender, these are the best shoes! They do take some getting used to because they're stiffer and harder than your average shoe. And your heel is supposed to slip out as you walk a little. Definitely worth the money!

Love these shoes. They are very comfortable and stylish. I have worn Dansko professionals in the past. These have a sleeker look and just as comfortable.

In my line of work I am on my feet for about 11-12 hours a shift. I have been having lower back pain wearing (what I thought) were comfortable flats. My friends suggested to look into Dansko shoes. I read the reviews to get sizing (normally I'm a 8-8.5) and I went with the 39, they fit well, just like the product said they should fit (not having the back of the ankle touch the back of the shoe, etc.). Only thing I noted was a little rubbing of my pinky toes (I was wearing these shoes with dress socks) but that was easily fixed with band-aids until I wore them in. Overall, great value since I don't have anymore back pain!

I went with my usual 39 too big and read reviews of sizing down. The 38 has a much different fit as I'm used to with Dansko--not uncomfortable, but needed a little adjusting to. Love the style!

I have bought this brand in the past (lasted 10 years!). Beware that the shoes tend to be wide and feel a little larger than its size. This is normal for the type of shoe that it is. I usually get it in my normal shoes size because I have wide feet and it fits perfectly.

I just got these and wore them two days ago. As a teacher I can be on my feet all day. These felt great. The Dansko Prima is the better, more expensive version of the Dansko Baylee. The leather is beautiful and the shoe felt good all day on the first wearing. The Baylee is a inferior leather and construction. I much prefer the Dansko Prima. This should serve me for quite a while.

I discovered the Dansko Prima last fall, loved the updated design, but didn't believe from looking at its shape it would work for my problem feet. I have Achilles' tendon damage, a bunion, a high arch, and a narrow heel. To my absolute amazement, these shoes fit perfectly! They do run a bit bigger than the other Dansko (rounded toe) , and I wear a mid weight sock with them. I am happy to report my feet were blissfully happy all fall and winter. No rubbing on my bunion, fantastic arch support, and stylish! I now own 6 pair of these and have gotten rid of most of my other shoes except, of course, those for special occasions. I also love fashion and don't feel dowdy in these. Love!

I have been wearing Danskos and Sanita clogs for years. I am a flight attendant and need to be on my feet 10-12 hours a day. I wear a 7.5, bought the 37 and they fit perfectly. They are narrower than typical Danskos, which is why I buy Sanita which runs narrow as a rule. These clogs are the best. I'm so glad they updated the style with a pointier toe and carved out heel, making them a little more stylish and dressy. I'm not embarrassed to wear them with my uniform skirt anymore. I absolutely would not buy anything else. They are worth the hefty investment, as they last for many years.

I have been wearing the tooled leather style for an entire school year. They have been so comfortable and stylish. They are wide enough to relieve pressure on my arthritic feet. They are my absolute go to shoes. I love them.

First I would like to mention the service I received was outstanding, they have the best customer service agents. I initially order a size 39 because I wear a size 9 but the shoes were too tight on my pinky toes, I didn't know if the shoe would stretch and my toe would stop hurting or not. So I called customer service and the gentleman told me he would next day air a size 40 and I could try it on and see if that was a better fit! Wow, I had both pairs to compare as if I was in an actual store trying on shoes, well the 40 fit perfectly and I sent back the original pair I ordered which was the 39! Exceptional Customer service!

I live in the country and am frequently in and out of the house hoofing it through gravel, mud, snow and wet lawns. These clogs are durable, easy to care for, and easy to slip in- and out-of. What makes the Prima so unique is the feminine styling. The subtle leather tooling is beautiful and the narrow width and pointed toe complement my size 11 foot. Sexy and functional! The clogs work great for my lifestyle and can transition from my home environment to work (corporate setting) perfectly. Thanks for designing a feminine, attractive clog. I love my Dansko Primas!

Very nice looking shoe, extremely comfortable with great arch support. I have a sensitive ball of the food and the heavy clog sole is just what I need. I love walking in these and can stand for long periods.

As I have aged my feet are flatter and wider. 7.5 has been my shoe size for a few years. Size 38 was way to small. I am willing to go larger. I was hoping to wear them with socks. I even tried a thin trouser sock, but the fit was still too tight.
