I usually run in Brooks pure cadence or pure connect. I run on gravel roads ranging from 3-6 miles a few times a week.I read the reviews and thought i'd try these out. They are comfortable but definitely too lightweight to wear for running on gravel. They don't have as much cushion as my brooks. It makes it harder to keep my ankle straight while running off road. My first run in these shoes was 6 miles and boy did my feet hurt when I got done.I do love the look and color of these shoes so I will be keeping them to wear to work and such, but I will stick to my Brooks for my runs! I have very flat narrow feet. I think I just need more support than this shoe offers.

A word of caution. The shoe is a hot pink color. It shows up under orange when I found it but it's not. It looks more like a little girls shoe in bright pink.

These shoes are considerably narrower in the toebox than the last three pairs of Kinvara 4's I've had. These are my go-to running shoes and I was sad to have to return them. Will try another style, this was a funky batch.

These shoes are not comfortable at all for running. My feet start hurting after a couple of minutes. To top it off, they are not easy to take off or slip into. The only great thing is the design.

I have a pair of the same shoe an decided to get a 2nd pair. Ordered same size and width but the new pair is wider and longer so they are going back. Reviews said color is more pink but it is the ugly orange shown. Why are running shoes so ugly?

Disappointing. The Kinvaras just keep getting further and further away from the minimalist original version. Over-padded and over-constructed. I usually buy 8.5 strictly to give me plenty of room for my forefoot to spread out comfortably; I don't need the length. These were almost too short in 8.5 which never happens for me in Saucony. They are kind of cute, but that's irrelevant if they feel terrible.

Sadly I had them for a month and the fabric around the toe box began to shred. Sending them back, so if you plan to actually run in them, I would get a better made shoe.

I have the original Kinvara and two pairs of the Kinvara 2. Those original two versions were amazing shoes, great running shoes and very cute for casual wear also. The Kinvara 3 was slightly less attractive with its busier and more 'technical' look. Now on the Kinvara 4 they have taken that 'technical' look over the top with these hideous graphic details. These are even uglier in person than they are on the internet, no thanks saucony.
