I love these sneakers! I went from a Saucony with a much larger profile to this new low profile shoe. I did work my way in to them - I walked a few miles, the next day I walked a bit then ran 1 mile. After that, I was off and running 5 miles at a time! These are great - light and comfortable.

I'm a mild overpronator and heel striker with flat feet. By convention, these shoes shouldn't work for me. But they do! After reading Born to Run, I became suspicious that some of my minor injuries were a result of bad form and plush stability shoes. Since slipping on the Kinvara 4's, I haven't looked back. They're light as a feather, with cushioned soles and a highly breathable upper. Most importantly, the 4mm heel-to-toe drop has helped me transition to a more efficient, midfoot strike pattern. It's a bit tough on the calves at first, but the patience pays off. I'm always excited to take them out for a run.

Bought these shoes for my wife after she couldn't find the color she wanted anywhere else. They arrived in one day! Amazing but not for Zappos, I've found delivery service consistently amazing. The shoes fit perfectly and she loves them, uses them daily on the tread mill. Good job Zappos!

I graduated to the Saucony Kinvara 4s after wearing out my Nike Freerun 4s. I am training for a half marathon, and my girlfriend who is a tri-athlete also uses these. I have tailors bunions and the mesh sides allow for zero issues there. I did have to break in the back of the shoe, which after the first few runs gave me killer blisters. But they're fine now!

A Saucony rep let me test these during a track workout and I fell in love! I quickly ordered a pair. They're extremely light, but they still provide support and some cushion. I've worn them for numerous long runs as well as speed workouts. I wear a size 6.5 in regular shoes and a 7 in run shoes. The 7 was perfect in the Kinvara's.

I started running slowly, again, and needed to replace my old pair of Sauconys. My favorite running shoes prior to the Kinvara were Mizuno Wave Runners. The Kinvara is very similar--minimalist shoes that feel very light. They are flexible and the sole has plenty of cushion. They were comfortable for me right out of the box. I'm up to 3-5 miles/run and doing great with them. And personally, I love the colors!!

I did a lot of research prior to buying new running shoes since I'd recently gotten into running longer distances and wanted to find something that provided adequate support but that weren't too heavy. After reading about these in a magazine and on several websites I decided to give them a shot. My first run in them was 11 miles and they were great shoes - I could focus on my run and not worry about my shoes because they fit and felt perfect during the entire run. They are also great for speed workouts because they are so lightweight. I immediately ordered a second pair!

I have high arches, a narrow heel, and broad forefoot, which makes running shoe shopping impossible! But I love these shoes! - My heel doesn't slip - They are light - They don't alter my natural running form - Good support. I've run about 50 miles in these and will definitely be buying another pair. They feel a little tight near the "bunion" area, but only when I first put them on. Not sure why, maybe just my finicky feet.

This is my second pair of Saucony Kinvara 4 W and I love them. My feet have a lot of room to wiggle around and they are light. I walk/run almost every day. I ordered an 8 based on other reviewers but I am usually a 7.5. I would say I have average feet and don't like too much arch support.

I have been wearing Kinvara 3 for the past year and love them so I decided to try these. The Kinvara 4 are awesome. If you are looking for a light weight running shoe with a minimal heel to toe drop, this is perfect. I have a narrow heel and wider forefoot. Sneaker hugs the heel yet provides ample space in the toe box. I size up in both the Kinvara 3 and 4. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes but wear a 9 in the Kinvaras to allow for space in the toe box I use these daily for 4-5 mile walks. Absolutely love them. I had been looking for a sneaker that did not have a "high heel". I had been wearing New Balance but the heel height put too much pressure on the ball of the foot. The Kinvaras have been a lifesaver. Sneakers have some mesh fabric which allows for ventilation. Nice colors.

Love this sneaker! the main color is white and the laces are a bright pinky/orange. Super light...I don't even want to wear them outside and get them dirty. LOVE.

I cannot believe someone gave these one star for the colors. These are great technical running shoes. The Kinvara series is one of the most popular running neutral running shoes because of their incredibly light weight, comfort, and quality materials. If you run or walk long distances, these are great shoes. If you buy running shoes mainly for fashion purposes, there are a lot of other options out there without the technical features.

Love the color choices! Great arch support too. Honestly? I was tired of the plain look and found this a refreshing change. I went up a half size as I always do with Saucony, so the fit is good. The lightweight composition of the shoe adds to the comfort. It has the right construction for those short or long runs. I loved the shoe so much that I bought the purple and also the white pair with the vizpro laces and sole. The color white is not actually a bright white so that's a good thing, it's toned down. Great looking performance shoe.

I have the Virata and this shoe works much better for me. The colors pulled me in; I mean, where can you find a running shoe with a colored bottom. You're running and the white bottom sole never stays white. It just makes sense to change the color of the bottom. Love the bright colors that motivate you to "get out there and run." Great arch support, lightweight: it's just a super running shoe. Great for crosstraining, walking, hiking, or any other sport you are into. I hope Sauconny will keep going with getting rid ot that white sold. Please. I got the purple and am going for the white with the bright orange bottom sole next. I cannot say enough good things about this shoe. Thank you, Saucony, for the new improvement.

I've been running in Saucony's for 12 years. This is a new style for me (less arch support; more flatfoot style running) and I like the shoes a lot. Very light and comfortable, and I love the flashy style.

I ordered these and the Orginals Jazz. The Originals in Medium Width are for wide feet which is what I have. The Kinvara Medium Width are not for wide feet. I wore them for 20 minutes or so and they hurt. Again, I have wide feet. I also didn't like how the material was loose at the toe.

Overall these are decent mid-distance daily running shoes. My only complaint is the lack of width in the front of the shoe which may be a problem for those with a bunion, but will not affect most!

This is Saucony's answer to the minimal sole, and it's okay. I believe they will wear longer than the Mizunos which I loved. This one is -how do you describe it- noisy. The sole makes a slapping sound as you run. Makes me feel like the material is not gripping the pavement. Oh well. They fit well, the price is good, and they have that Howard Johnson color vibe which makes my heart sing.

Very light weight sneaker. Looks great on and the colors pop. The shoe has moderate arch support, and is very comfortable for regular exercise.

I love Saucony, it's all I run in, and I LOVED the Kinvara 3, so I was of course excited to try out the new version of my favorite shoe when it came out. The fit, comfort and feel of this shoe is absolutely fantastic, it's so lightweight and provides good cushion without feeling bulky. I am a very neutral runner, so the low profile shoe works for me. The only negative I have to say is that the material on the upper is not as high of quality as the prior models of this shoe, and I am noticing wear and tear a lot sooner, and will probably have to replace these before they are actually worn out due to miles put on them. I guess this issue will be fixed in the Kinvara 5, but as they don't come out until May, I'll probably go back the Kinvara 3 until then.

I bought these because my physical therapist thought I should move to a flatter shoe, but I still wanted cushioning. Overall I like them. They are very light, but they don't feel minimal, in terms of comfort. I bought the Kinvara 3 before these, and they gave me terrible blisters on my Achilles. The backs of these are much lower and I'm not getting blisters.

These are my first "serious" running shoes in that I ran my first 5K and will run another in a few months. I've been casually training in these and wear them around for comfort. Absolutely love the lightness and support of the shoe. There is a little cushion to it, but feels so airy. My feet really feel great in these especially after a barefoot running shoe debacle. However, I have one negative and it makes me so sad since I love these so much... the tops have started to rip apart by the pinky toes on both sides. I've had these shoes for just a little over 3 months and I only log about 3-5 miles running in them/week. This is probably due to the fact that the top material is so breathable and light. I'm really "torn" because I want to go ahead and just get another pair hoping that I got a lemon. But, I did want to mention this because some Amazon reviewers have mentioned a similar occurrence. Otherwise, the shoe is really perfect in my book! I wear a street 6.5 and fit great w/some toe room in the 6.5. Didn't have to size up per usual running shoe expectation. You'll love these if you want minimal with some extra protection and support. I like that I can feel the road a bit so it's not like I'm running on mattresses.

I am overall pleased with these shoes as far as fit and comfort goes. I've worn them running and have not felt the familiar knee-twinge that seems to occur with normal, thicker-heeled shoes. The description and web image of the color are quite off. I was expecting something a bit more orange (coral is orange-y, no?) and instead got shocking pink. I wouldn't mind so much but I HATE pink!

These are by far my favorite light weight running shoes. The only major complaint I have is a design difference between models 3 and 4--the tongue is connected to a second, inner mesh part of the shoe that is fairly open and easily catches small rocks. Hoping they fix this in future models.

Not as the picture shows it. The picture shows red, but when I received them, they were a more peach color. What looks to be black in the picture is actually grey. I bought the shoe because I like the red and black contrast, but that wasn't the case. Also, the mesh seems stiff and kind of cheap. Returning. :-/
