I have three Hobo Friar handbags (in different colors) and gave one to my mom for Mother's Day. It is a perfect size, has great compartments, pockets, etc. And the leather is soft and beautiful. I would order more but there are only two colors being offered at this time. Love this handbag.

Great in-between size bag - not too big, not too small.

True Love. Finally... the perfect purse. perfectly sized interior perfectly sized interior pockets (2 for my phones, 1 for lipstick, 1 for hand lotion) perfectly sized - not too deep, but deep enough perfectly easy zipper closure perfectly sized handles for hanging off arm or snuggled under shoulder perfectly lovely eggplant color that will work for all seasons perfectly imperfect leather perfection.

I love the size and shape of the Friar! I have always been a Hobo fan because of the sleek look and the beautiful leather (when I leave my purse in the car, it fills my car with that wonderful leather smell!). The purse is not very deep, so it makes finding things super simple. There are also ample pockets, pouch and zippered, that makes purse organization a cinch. The purse does stand upright but does not have a lot of support on the bottom on its own. This doesn't bother me, but I was curious about it when I purchased it.

This is a wonderful bag, the quality is outstanding. The pockets on the outside are a great size for phone and keys etc. my only complaint and it's small one is the length of the double straps. It's a little short for me getting on and off the shoulder is a tight fit. Otherwise I love love this handbag!

This has become my go to bag! It's big enough to carry when traveling, but small enough to be an every day bag. The outside pocket is great for cords, earbuds, and/or keys, and there are plenty of interior slot pockets.

This handbag is absolutely beautiful, but you would think that on any holiday the price could go down a little and I see that zappos has not done that.

Soft leather and a perfect size

The HOBO Friar shoulder bag is the best purse EVER! I am 5 feet 1 inch tall, and it fits me perfectly. The outside slip pocket is deep. It can hold a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. I really like that the purse has a zipper closure. Inside, there is a large zipper compartment that can hold a good sized wallet. There are 5 slip pockets of varying useful sizes. The main section of the purse can accommodate a LOT of stuff. I already own this purse in black, navy, purple and saddle color. I just ordered ordered it in fuchsia, pale green and linen. This purse is THAT useful. If I had to offer any criticism, I would say that the outside zipper pocket doesn't hold that much. However, I completely recommend this purse. It is definitely worth $238.00. Anyone who purchases it will get a lot of use from it.

Hobo, my absolute favorite handbag and wallets. I have two handbags, one of which is the Friar I've carried designer handbags for years. Four years ago I was in an accident that left me with a bad shoulder, at that time i knew I had to find a different handbag as every.one of them that I owned were heavy without anything in them. That's when I came across hobo. The price is very reasonable, gorgeous leather and most importantly for me was the weight of hobo. I love the friar as the design keeps everything in place (nothing like searching for stuff stuck in the corner!) I carry my hobo "Rachel" wallet, iPhone, make-up bag, sunglasses, sometimes my iPad and always a lockbox key (bulky) for work. It fits perfectly over my shoulder and have yet to hurt my shoulder from the weight. I just purchased the Monika and also have quiet a few wallets, just because I love different wallets and change them up. I have never had to send a Product back but between the warranty of hobo and Zappos its defiantly worth it to try them out.

This style is my favorite of all the handbags I've ever owned. I'm 4'11 1/2". It's just the right size for. The weight is great, not heavy at all. The leather is gorgeous! Thank You for the Friar style. Please don't discontinue the design.

Hobo is a classic. You may get tired of it and switch to a different style but you will come back to your Hobo. The quality is amazing and the leather is like butter.

This is my third hobo.....they last for a very long time with heavy use. The leather is soft but stands up to daily abuse. It is not heavy like other leather bags. I like the pockets. Versatile style to dress up or down.

I received this bag for Xmas and I love it! This is the second hobo purchase for me and the brand has replaced coach for sure . The bag itself is beautiful ( I got it in blue) and it is very functional with all the pockets !

Love this handbag. It is smaller then it looks on the "model" wearing it in the picture, but was the exact size I was looking for. It is perfect. Four inside pockets and even a small pocket for pens, and the zippered pocket on the lower outside is larger than it looks. Structured well (doesn't collapse and make it difficult to find things when unzipped) I have been searching for a Hobo handbag for awhile, and so glad I found this one. I have 2 Hobo wallets, and love those too!

I love this bag. It's just a bit larger than I prefer, but it will hold a book or ipad when necessary. That's convenient. I like the simple, unembellished design. Too many purses are overwhelming for a smaller person. The color's a great shade of orange. I have several Hobo bags, and this is a favorite already.

Love this bag! Beautiful and functional inside and out! I have had it in many colors and the royal blue is the most recent in my collection. Only downfall is that the leather scratches easily but Hobo lovers already know this. ;)

I own this in Henna and absolutely love it. The bag will fit over a shoulder if I want to carry it that way. The phone pocket is perfection, the color is rich and this bag is my favorite and was worth the price.

This bag may to small but it holds everything, it will suprise you. Very soft leather and light weight, with lots of compartments for all. Looks good.

This is a beautiful, well-constructed bag, with a thoughtful arrangement of pockets, both within and on the surface. Although it's rather a large bag, things do not disappear; the articulation of the interior allows for good organization and recovery of the things we carry with us. And nothing beats Zappos service.

Love this bag. First Hobo for me. It's about 1/2 the size of my former bag and holds everything. Color is different too. Cell phone pocket a little small for iPhone 6Plus - but doable on its side.

This is a beautiful and functional purse. I absolutely love Hobo, this is my third one and they are consistently well made. The color is beautiful, the pockets are well thought out and the size is perfect.
