Perfect purchase for a challenging winter. Not the most stylish shoe but comfortable and at a price point where you don't worry about whatever you are required to walk through.

Great looking shoe, but they run extremely large! My son is a true 10.5 so that's what I ordered.They were so big he could have folded them..So ordered a 10..again way to big.. Now I have to ship back both pair..

The problem is with Timberland--NOT Zappos whose service was impeccable. The reviews indicated that I should order one size smaller than I wear (9 1/2 W). At first I ordered a 9W and had to exchangw for an 8 1/2 W. Width was such that shoes req'd a week to break in. All OK now but question is why doesn't Timberland make the shoe the right size?

I'm usually an 8.5, but tried these in 7, 7.5 and 8, both regular and wide. I have wide feet, so found the regulars in all sizes to be narrow. The wides in 7 and 7.5 felt narrow as well, but the 8 was a good width. However, it felt too big. Overall the shoes just felt uncomfortable, and I couldn't find a good fit so I had to return them. They look great though, so if you can get them to fit, go for it.

Had these boots for one and a half years (two winters) and sole wore through. Comfortable and soft leather, they felt great at first. Points off on style for how much the toes curled up, but it didn't affect the comfort of the boots. Big points off for the sole wearing down to flat and then through in less than 2 years, never had a pair of boots do that before.

Good looking shoe. I usually need a size 15 and based on reviews ordered 14. Still I had 3/4 inch in the toe. Its being returned.

I ordered these shoes a half size smaller than my usual based on other reviews, they were still too big. The toes are long and narrow, resembles a cowboy boot look.

Not a great shoe. I took others' advice and bought a size up. It seemed to be okay but then I think the shoe stretched terribly, because now they're like boats. My feet are swimming in them and I cant walk in them without stumbling, almost like clown shoes.
