Big fan of Rykas. Shoe fit fine, but worried about big toe comfort with pliability of uppers. Want a little more structure to hold my foot in place.

I wore my last pair of Hydros to shreds. They are great support for water aerobics and they never rub or irritate. Lots of room at toe and ball of foot.

Like the drainage slots in bottom, arch support and style. Less enthused by a sole that is too flexible and that slides very easily on the pool bottom.

This shoe provided the support and grip I needed for my high impact water aerobics class. I've only worn the shoes once, but I noticed a big difference in my performance.

These shoes were a bit large for the stated size. I always wear size 9 and these 9's are more like 9 1/2. Also, the lace slide locks don't hold at all. they keep slipping with every step. I replaced them with slide locks from an older pair of shoes.
The shoes are very comfortable and look nice.

I do water fitness 4 days a week and also wear the shoes on dry land. Great for my feet with lots of support. I also wear a orthotic and it works well in the shoe. My only complaint is the shoe laces. Too short to do knots that don't come undone in the water. I like them...my 3rd pair.

I just started taking an Aqua fitness class. 1st session I twisted my sore knees and scratched the bottoms of my feet. Instructor recommended to protect my knees that I get a pair of sports shoes designed for water, rather than booties.
Have used them twice and the shoes make sessions much more comfortable.
The fact that the shoes float make some of the moves during the class more challenging as my feet want to pop up out of the water, but I figure that adds to the resistance in the pool & to a better workout.
They dry pretty fast in our hot weather.

I have been buying these shoes for years and have always loved them; they were comfortable, supportive and lasted a long time. Wherever they are being manufactured now, the quality is not as good and they are not lasting as long as in the past. Also liked these because I have wide feet and they were the most comfortable of any others. Now they are getting narrower and longer in the same size. I often have sore feet after wearing for an hour of water aerobics. Despite all, I still like these the best of all. Do not want to see any more changes or I will not be able to wear.

I LOVE these sneakers! I wear them to work (PE teacher), to HIIT workouts, hiking, and just goofing around. They are comfy right out of the box and fit perfectly. My only quibble is the big space in the heel...many times I've had to lever big rocks out of the hole. Other than that, perfection!

I'm going to Kauai to hike in the canyons which may be very muddy. I want these water shoes for hiking and for water. Would they work for that? I have been wearing rykas for years and I love them.

I really like these they are comfortable my complaint is the laces they are kinda bizarre like you can’t just sinch them and leave it like that I tried to tie them but it looked weird so I tucked them in but I just felt like they weren’t tight enough that way.

Loved the style and fit but felt a little scratchy on the upper inside right foot. Returning.

I normally wear a 10W. I got size 10 and despite being a M width they seem to fit just fine. They offer a lot more support than the ones I got just a few weeks ago that were more like a sock than a shoe. Didn't like them at all. These have nice support. I use them daily for Water Aerobics and Range of Motion in the pool. My only disappointment so far is that they seem to take forever to dry. My classes are back to back, so not a long lag time between classes, and yet they are still damp the next day. I like the style of the laces. Not sure what they call them but there are pressure clips that you can push in and move tighter or looser without tying them. Nice when they are wet.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming vacation. I would normally buy a wide size but these feel like they will work since I won't be wearing socks. I've worn cheap water shoes and ended up with blisters and sore feet. I'm hopeful these will be better because they have better support.

I bought these for an upcoming vacation and needed water shoes. I've had the cheap ones before and had nothing but bruised feet and blisters. Since these are more like an athletic shoe I'm hopeful they will work. I would like them better if they came in a wide size but the fabric seems flexible enough that they should be OK.

I bought the hydro shoes and would recommend them with one exception.
They keep coming untied in the water and it is very IRRITATING! Once shoe ties are pulled tight for your foot, then a new design should be in place to keep the ties from sloshing around and getting untied.
I think they need to add another part further down the shoe bed to keep the ties from sloshing around in the water; something similar to the top grommet whereby you can tuck the ties into it!

I have owned a couple different styles of Ryka water shoes. This is my favorite one. It is perfect for water walking at the pool. Supportive and comfortable, without too much shoe. After all, I want them for a pool, not out in the world. The bunge ties with a stopper made it it easy for sizing. Once sized for me, I never have to change again. They then slip on very easily, using the loop at the back when necessary. I have bad psoriatic arthritis, so that is important. They have all taken a little time to break in, meaning they were a little slippery at first. I know, a bit weird for "water shoes", but seemed true for me or maybe it's my pool. This last pair has taken a little longer to get to the perfect point.

Wonderful shoes but slippery on the tile pool deck. Be careful not to slip when you get out of the pool.

I use the shoes for water aerobics. They work well. I have problems generally with sore arches. When I wear these shoes for the hour of water aerobics my feet are fine. I only wish the shoe came in an 11 1/2 . My toes are touching the end of the size 11. The 12 was way too big so I kept the size 11.

I am an Aqua Zumba Instructor and bought this sneaker to teach on deck. They are a nice looking style and light weight. I was hoping for a little more support, but I guess they are meant to wear in water.
