I will exchange it for a small otherwise very good quality.

Bought these for resort skiing. Nice color (blue) and features with the inner thigh vents and velcro waist adjusters. Only reason it's not a 5/5 is due to the baggy fit and only 2 vents but for the price it's hard to beat.

As overall, it is good. The insulation works well. It is warm and comfortable.
I prefer a little bit slim design and shorter inseam size. It still works for me though. Normally my pants size is 30in x 30in.

I love these pants, definitely great for casual outdoor wear like walking the dogs or skiing. I love how the waist belt has soft felt lining to prevent any itchy/scratchy feelings against the skin.

Way bigger than 32 waist and length for the M size, had to send back for the S, which is still taking well over 2 weeks. S is more of a 30-34 in my opinion.

I am a 5'8" 140 lb. woman and have worn North Face winter outdoor pants for several years. I prefer the men's fit because they are longer and more comfortable than the women's. I alpine and telemark ski an average of 80 days a season and these pants in general are warm and durable.
The newest iteration of these pants (as compared to previous pants) have the same pockets, shorter vent zippers and have only one snap at the fly. The material of these new pants is more "shiny" than of the old pants. Most everything else is the same as previous versions.
I deducted one star for the shortened vent zippers and for the one snap vs. 2.

Size is a little on the smaller side. Other than that great product

Great sizing options. Kept me dry in wet snow and insulated well. Only negative is the legs are a wider cut than I would have preferred.

Good pants for cold weather sports. Tricky to get the right size . Men's Medium was too tight and Men's Large was too loose - even with the use of the Velcro waistband adjustments.

I have a 30 waist and size small fits my waist but it's too slim for my legs while size medium is too big for my waist...really weird sizing

I recently purchased the North Face Freedom Insulated Ski Pants to replace my old N.F. pair, which lasted a solid 18 years. Those pants were built to last with heavy-duty buttons, a large Velcro strip on the front, and durable zippers that still work great today. Unfortunately, the new Freedom Insulated Pants don't seem to have the same rugged build. The button on the front feels smaller and less sturdy, and the zippers seem a bit cheap compared to the quality of my old ones. I also miss the right rear pocket, which was a feature my previous pair had.
That being said, the fit is good, and the material feels decent. They seem warm enough for skiing, but I'm skeptical about the long-term durability. I have a feeling the button might not hold up, and I'm concerned the zippers could eventually give out. Time will tell, but so far, the overall quality doesn't seem to match the longevity of my last pair.

I had an older pair of these for over 10 years/ski seasons that worked great. I finally bought a new pair and they were damaged after wearing them snowboarding once. TNF replaced them so I am giving them another go. I am hoping it was a fluke and this pair will last.

All in all I'm satisfied. It would be great if it had more pockets.

First, it's been a while since I've upgraded my outter wear. The last pair of insulted pants I purchased were part of the north face summit series and featured loops around the waist that allowed the hooks on my powder skirt (older CoreFire puffy) to hold it place. The ankle gaiters are on the narrow side barely able to go over my boots. The fabric is also not as durable and lacks stretch. Overall they keep you warm and dry.

The pants look great, but I had to return them because I need to short length. I've been trying to find them in this length on your website but haven't had any luck.

6'7", 210lbs, Athletic build. Tried out the LT size, which has a 34.5" inseam. I wear a 34" W x 36" Inseam in jeans. These snow pants just fit a bit too short on my boots. Wish they were longer.

I enjoyed the color and overall benefit of these but the leg opening at the bottom is too wide. I had to return them. I will look for other options for snow pants

I bought these mainly for winter hiking. I was hoping for more of a slimmer fit. These are pretty baggy from the thigh down, which would be great if I was skiing or snowboarding. The baggier fit makes it great for movement and makes it easy to fit the legs over ski boots. But when I'm hiking with these on, it just feels cumbersome. I All I hear is the swishing of pant legs rubbing together. I wish TNF would cater more to the hiking community. So many of their products are geared toward the winter and extreme sports crowd. Not everyone is tearing up the slopes or hanging from granite rock ledges.

I ordered a size large and they were a little snug so I returned them. The overall construction of the pants was solid. I also prefer side zippers on the pant legs for ease of getting boots on and off.

I have the same pants in binary navy print. I use it to ski on colder days and it keeps me warm. I'm 5'9" and about 163 lbs and medium short is little loose guess it gives me some room to wear something underneath. Though I never had to wear anything underneath even skiing on negative temperature. The reason I am giving this pants 3 star rating is because of the color Harbor Blue which does not match the Harbor Blue color of Mens Clement Triclimate ski jacket which I also bought to match the pants.
