I have worn these every day up in rural, Northwestern Alaska so far this winter. It hasn't been above zero here for a few weeks now. These are very comfortable and warm. I don't ski or snowboard but I imagine they are great for that. Lots of range of motion in these.

As a ski instructor, pants matter. I've enjoyed the quality from The North Face for years with my previous pants. These are also very good. I kind of liked the material from the old pants better and the old pants had a leash in the pocket for my keys (this pair does not), but the fit is excellent and I can tell they're going to last a long time. They're very insulated, so I just have a baselayer on under them. In the spring, I'll do with even less than that. The color is great and they're comfortable. And I did end up getting two pairs. The first pair I somehow ordered the short length, so I quickly ordered the regular length since I'm 5' 11" tall. In the end, I'm keeping both because the short length wasn't too short. It was fine. I attached a picture of the difference between the two.

My son outgrew his North Face bibs so of course we only considered North Face for a replacement! Purchased for a ski trip to Quebec, my son was very happy with these pants for snowboarding style! He looked cool and stayed warm and dry!

The Freedom insulated pants are definitely the best. I have a similar pair now for 18 years and I have never been the least bit cold or wet ever. I'm outside everyday. So buying another pair was a no brainer. I believe North Face truly makes the best clothing. It's all I ever buy. I never look elsewhere. I never been disappointed ever with North Face. Ok I'm obsessed with everything North Face makes. Thank you.

Best winter pants ever. I replaced the North Face winter pants that I still have they were a little to big but still great. Any excuse to buy From North I'm in. The old ones that a still have are 18 years old and still awesome. For the last 18 years I have never been cold or wet with them. Truly incredible. I always buy from North Face and have never been disappointed. Keep up the fantastic products.

Best pants for ski season!

These pants are amazing when on the slopes. I had one pair and they were so comfortable I bought another. I tried a different brand in between the two purchases and these North Face pants are far superior. They also give you extra room in the knees for movement and comfort.

I have been searching for YEARS to find a pair of winter expedition pants like these. I am absolutely in love with them. I wear thin leggings under them and have been perfectly comfortable down to -10F in them. I absolutely WILL be buying more of them so i have plenty of them in the future. TNF, please, please, PLEASE don't change a thing about these pants. They. Are. Perfect.

Husband LOVES THESE PANTS! It would be nice if they came in a few more sizes, like numerical, instead of s,m,l,xl.

Perfect fit!

Bought these for ice climbing - worked even though they're not the right style of pants - wore them in -6 degree weather along with long johns and they were plenty warm

I've had these snow pants previously, but needed a different size because I had outgrown my other pair. These are comfortable, keep you warm and wear well.

Been wearing these skiing for the last 10 years, no issues. All I ever wear underneath is a pair of sweatpants and I'm always warm. Cover my ski boots perfectly

Excellent men's insulated pant! Perfect for downhill skiing! Great fit without being restrictive and superior warmth.

Not sure what these other reviewers are going on about. I ski a lot and have had zero issues. It fits well and good quality. I got short small and im 5'7.

Gray pants very warm, perfect for snowboarding. They go over the entire boot.

Was not cold at all in Snowbird with these pants. Great fit and well made.

Super warm and the vents make sure I am never too hot.
