I had to exchange for an 11 because the 10 was a little tight at the toe. It appears depending on the style Frye may or may not run true to size.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a half-size up and the fit was fine. The shoes are actually quite comfortable wearing socks of thin/medium thickness, though I don't think I would be able to wear thick socks with them when the weather gets colder. However I agree with other reviewers that the distressed leather is a bit cheap looking. On the grey color in particular, it looks very streaky. Ultimately, I decided that these shoes are too expensive for what they are. They're going back.

I wanted SO much to like this shoe. However, it was too narrow in the toe box for my Narrow-Medium feet. I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about the color, either. It had a bit of that "fake leather" look, with it's unnatural graduations of color.

I ordered a size larger as suggested by the reviews, but those were too big and I had to return them. My regular size fits a bit snug but still wearable. The leather on one of my shoes has an imperfection (about one inch sharp line running through it) and I say imperfection because it's not a crease from where the shoe bends. I contacted Frye about this and they told me that all leather is different. That's the bad thing about buying online, you can't see little details like this. I would have rather not have this imperfection on my shoes. I've never spent so much on a pair of shoes for myself but I think they will last a long time and they are beautiful shoes.

These shoes feel well made but they do not run true to size. I ordered my usual size (9) and they felt slightly tight but I hoped they would stretch a little. After wearing them around for a day my feet were killing me. I almost walked home barefoot I was in so much pain. No amount of stretch would make these work, they were simply too small. I ordered in a 9.5 and they fit great with both heavier and lighter socks.

This is a nice looking shoe that does well for the office or more casual attire. Wore it the first day with no break-in issues (walked about 3 miles on city sidewalks). Two small issues: the shoelaces do not stay tied, even with double knots, although this seems to be improving with wear; the heels can be a tad slippery, despite the small strip of nonslip added. But overall, I am quite pleased. They were a splurge, but the all leather upper is quite comfortable and I assume will give me years of use.

I went up .5 size with these. My regular size was just a tad too small. They are comfortable straight out of the box. Just a little rub on one heel, but I always experience that. I didn't get a chance to wear them that often before the weather turned.

Really like this shoe! I wore it for a full day of work as a teacher and it was comfortable. The antique brown is a neutral color that looks good with black or blue. Two things to know: the soles are slippery! You will want to get slip guards put on. And the dark color that seems to be just rubbed onto the edges of the soles quickly comes off exposing the lighter leather color. I have a narrow foot, 8 1/2 or 9, and I bought 9 for these.

I like this shoe very much, but I would say it runs 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than marked. Going up a size worked for me. It's great looking and is a nice combination of feminine and masculine, has good support and is comfortable. I returned my originally ordered size for a larger, in the dark antique brown, which I've decided I like even better than my originally ordered color.

This was my first attempt at Frye shoes. I've only ever purchased boots before. I have medium, but slightly wide foot. I'm normally an 8.5 but in Frye footwear usually a 9. This is a nice looking shoe, slightly pointy, making it look a bit more current and stylish, while not making your foot look large (as some shoes do). Good solid quality as well. I had to return those as it was a tight squeeze in the toe box, and within minutes of wearing, my baby toes were aching. That is a sure sign for me to return, unfortunately.

This shoe did not look like the picture. The leather was dyed an unattractive purplish color, with streaks and blotches, not the smooth, cool grey of the image.

The leather is beautiful; didn't care for the weathered look on the edges and bottoms of the soles. Also, they felt very small on, and had no arch support. Given that these shoes cost about twice what I usually spend, they're going straight back.

This shoe was everything that I was looking for. The style, color perfect. Fit like a glove right out of the box, but the sole is peeling off almost like paper. I am a fan of Frye products for a very long time but I am disappointed in this one.

I should have paid more attention to the other reviewers' remarks about this shoe running small. A 9B is usually a very comfortable fit for me, but not in this shoe. It felt at least one size small, both length and width, if not more. Cute oxford, but unwearable for me. Back it goes.

I was disappointed in how thin the leather upper is. I have the Carson Oxford by Frye, and it is a much better quality shoe. This is beautiful and comfortable, but I don't think it will last as long as the Carson.

VERY MASCULINE style. I have Borne Oxford (years old) that is much more feminine than this. Style makes you look like extra long feet. Fit is half-size bigger than my normal size. Width fit is weird: narrow toe box area, wide heel. No arch support. Stiff sole, so you need to break it in. The leather on back of ankle is very stiff (for a pricey shoe), so back-of-ankle-rub could be an issue.
