I am between 8.5 and 9. I took a 9 in these and they fit like a dream. Frye shoes/boots are the best. I wore them for 12 hours with thin footie socks, no blisters, sore arches or painful rubs on my heel. They are super soft on the inside so you could probably wear without socks. I did not need my usual orthotics in these. Moderate arch support for us ladies with high arches. I was afraid an oxford would be too masculine on my large feet but I wore these with a skirt and got tons of compliments. Zappos is the best.

I love these oxfords! They're very streamlined and classy. After reading other reviews, I bought one-half size larger than I usually wear, and that turned out to be a good decision. They fit well and also accommodate my orthotics. I chose the taupe antique; the color is versatile and goes with everything. The shoes will need a bit of breaking in, but Frye shoes often do and it's not a deal-breaker. Another reviewer mentioned that the shoe laces don't stay tied, even with double knots. The double knots worked for me, but I may decide to change the laces. Again - not a deal-breaker for me.

Fantastic shoes--well made, great style, and incredibly comfortable right out of the box. No break-in time needed! I pair mine with no-show wool socks, and they feel like a dream. Plus, the oxford style is the perfect mix of a little preppy, slightly tomboyish, but still feminine and unique. These fit true to size and look great with everything from skinny jeans to skirts to trousers. Frye shoes line my entire dress clothes closet, as they are timeless, high quality, and last forever.

I purchased 2 pair of Frye Anna Oxford shoes. It was my first time purchasing Frye shoes. It is the most perfect shoe size, comfort, and heal that I have ever owned. I am older and usually around 1pm during the day my shoes become uncomfortable after minimal walking, but these go the distance - I wear them all day and never have to change into more comfortable shoes, or tip-toe around to keep my feet from hurting. Absolutely love this shoe.

First and foremost, these shoes are well-made and comfortable. I have a very high in-step and wide feet, and these fit really well (ordered in Size 7. 1/2 size up than I normally wear) in a medium width. What I love best is the styling. I've always admired men's traditional styling in shoes. This shoe reminds me of a feminine take on a traditional men's oxford. It is a modest, comfortable shoe without being frumpy...something extremely difficult to find in women's shoes. Most women's shoes are ridiculous in their styling and the height of the heels. Today I am wearing them with a dress! These won't disappoint!

I LOVE THESE SHOES! They are so beautiful, so comfortable, and I feel so freakin' classy when I wear them. The craftsmanship is just gorgeous, and the leather is so soft and smooth. Easily the nicest pair of shoes I've ever owned.

I love these shoes! The leather is soft but not too soft. There was not a breaking in period. The first time I wore them I traveled and walked through airports. Never did they hurt my feet. I did order a half size up based on other reviews and they fit a little long. I have a wide foot and because of that I think the 1/2 size up helped place my foot in the widest part of the shoe, making them more comfortable for me. I have only had them a month but I wear them a lot for work and for play. I would recommend these shoe. They are expensive but worth every penny.

I love this oxford. I got it in the cognac color, which is slightly distressed and really beautiful -- and it will go with pretty much everything. After reading the other reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up from my usual and it fits perfectly. The leather is soft and buttery and was very comfortable from the moment I put on the shoes. (I'm wearing them without socks right now.) I have high arches, so it's not quite as much arch support as I usually like, but better than average for a flat. I might have to get another pair in a different color!

I have been looking for a flattering oxford shoe, and these are perfect. They are a nice soft leather, and were immediately pretty comfortable. I wasn't suffering from breaking-in blisters after wearing them all day. The cut is low enough that they would work with both pants and dresses/skirts. They look great. You definitely get what you pay for with Frye.

Love these - very comfy and stylish in their simplicity. Like many, I found they run a little small. I ordered a 8.5 (my normal size) first then had to exchange for the 9 which fits great.

These are gorgeous, elegant shoes, the leather is beautiful and so soft. As with any oxford, you must wear them in a bit. With this fine quality, the breaking-in period is only because of the heel. The fit is as described by others. Love them!

Of course I read the other reviews first -- and I was glad that I did. I ordered my actual size plus another pair - size up. I am delighted that I did. Both pairs came today. I could barely get the pair which is my regular size (9) onto my foot but the -size up (9.5) fit like a dream -- with room for a sock! So great-looking, so perfect! I ordered the taupe which arrived as a lovely neutral brown which is just as I wanted. Hurray! I am returning the smaller pair and keeping the larger. I can't wait to wear them!

Love these shoes! Looks great with skinny jeans. Very soft leather but enough support to keep me on my feet all day. I did blister on each heel when I wore the shoes without socks for twelve hours walking on day 2, so I'd suggest a better break in period.

Love love love these shoes! They are so cute and comfortable. The leather is soft and lovely. They look great with skinny jeans or with dress pants, and I can girlie them up on occasion by adding ribbon shoelaces. I've been looking for the perfect pair of black oxfords, and have finally found them.

This shoe is gorgeous. Classy and soft. I wish my foot would fit it. Size 10 almost fit but was too small, 11 much too large, so I have to return them. I usually wear a 10.

These shoes were just what I was hoping for: fit, comfort, size, sturdiness. The service was terrific and I've been wearing them ever since they arrived.

I love these Oxfords. I could not find them in any local stores so I ordered them on Zappos just to look, touch and feel them. I am so glad I did. They are stylish, comfortable and as with all Frey shoes, they are quality-made so they will last a long time. These are perfect for a Texas winter. ;-) I wear them without socks and they fit perfectly, I could wear a sock and be comfortable but I prefer them sockless.

I have been looking for an interesting oxford without wingtip patterns on it for awhile (the wingtip layers cause most shoes to crease in the wrong painful spot). I usually buy a 7.5 or 8 and this 8 was a bit too small. I will reorder in the 8.5, but I'm concerned it will be too long - I'll see in a few days. This is a well built shoe.

These are beautiful, classic shoes. Cost more than I usually spend but the quality is evident and I will be wearing them for many years. Very comfortable. I did have to size up a 1/2 size and they seem a bit narrow which was actually good for me.

Perfect oxford shoe for the office. I was worried that they would take a while to break in but have to say I am very pleasantly surprised at how well they fit my feet and how comfortable they are on the first wearing. The heel does slip a little but I understand that goes away after a few wearings as the shoe conforms to one's feet. I have slightly narrow feet/heels so almost all shoes slip on my heels. They fit well with lightweight socks. I will be buying this show in additional colors. Oh, as comparison I also tried the "Pikolinos Brighton Oxford" but the fit of that shoe was too wide for my slightly narrow, medium width feet. Frye's Anna Oxford is as close to perfect as any shoe I have ever found.

I bought this shoe twice. I usually wear between a 9.5 and 10 in shoes and the first time I bought both sizes 10 & 11 given the other reviews. The 10 shoe felt a tad snug with just bare feet, and 11 fit great but was too long for my foot so both went back. A year later, I decided that I was going to try again with the 10. Same result, but the color and quality of shoe are so great that I decided to keep this time and am hoping they will stretch with use.

This shoe, where should I start? Okay...first I wear a size 8, I have a narrow feet with an arch. I ordered the Anna Oxford because it's absolutely an adorable shoe. I love Frye and I love Zappos. Frye make great boots and shoes. Anyway, the Anna size 8 fit snug...so I ordered the 8 1/2 and it was extremely big. I sent those back and decided to wear the 8 around the house to break them in. My problem is the maker of these shoes. I swear they are slipping somewhere. I'm not blaming it on what country it's made in. I'm blaming it on Frye and. I still haven't broke these shoes in but if it don't work after another week or so, they babies will go back. I can't keep a pair of shoe that hurt my feet. Shoes are horrible now. Tory Burch shoes are the same unfortunate. 8 is snug and the 8 1/2 are jumbo.
I'd also recommend:
Cole Haan but they're shoes hurt as well

Out of the box, these shoes are so pretty - exactly what I've been looking for, for quite some time. Having said that, there are a few minuses: the soles are extremely slippery, so if you get these, be sure to scuff them well, or take them to a shoe repair shop to have nylon ribbed bottoms put on the soles. Additionally, the back of the shoe cuts into my heel - after the first time I wore them (admittedly, during which I walked about 8 blocks) they broke the skin on either side of my heels/back of my ankle. I hope that these soften with time, but it's nothing a little strategically placed moleskin won't help. Finally, the laces feel a bit cheap - you'd expect more from expensive shoes, but that is also something you can fix by buying new laces elsewhere.

These are beautiful shoes but too narrow for me in the toe area. I have a very difficult foot to fit: narrow heels and wider in the toe area. Wish we could find a shoe with a combination last!

I usually wear size 5 1/2, but after reading the reviews, I bought a size 6, which worked out okay generally. The shoe is still a bit snug, causing chafing on some of my toes near the end of the day. I always wear six with them! Leather looked better in the photo than in real life--but I'm keeping them since they are otherwise comfortable and fashionable.
