These sandals sold under "Original Universal Teva's" tag are not that bad for the money but compared to the real "Originals" they are not in the same ball park. I would pay twice the price to get my hands on a pair of those babies.
The closest resemblance here are the Velcro straps. Although they are thinner and flimsier they are functionally the same. The soles are not even close to the first pair I had owned. I would expect a year at best out of these soles. Did these go to China too? Please go back to the basics and the consumer will follow!

These are extremely comfortable. However, I was disappointed in the quality of the sole. It is already starting to shred a bit at the toe, and I have had them for about a month. If I were going to purchase another pair, which I probably will, I would get the ones with a more rugged sole.

I must be an outlier because these feel so uncomfortable to me. Very rough straps, and they are inset so the pinch. I don't understand why people love these so much, but maybe it's just me.

Very cute but just a flat bottom with no fitting for foot of any kind I have worn and loved tevas for years. These are NOT an upgrade.

The sole was not suited to me. My foot felt as choking on the right shoe while finishing a step, which could lead to a fall. I did not fall, thankfully.
I will order a different style of Teva.

I wore these very minimally and one shoe completely separated. Unfortunately, out of the warranty period despite only wearing them a handful of times. Not sure I'll purchase again.

From the pictures I did not expect the fabric of these boots to feel like horse hair.

I purchased these boots because i absolutely loved the color that was shown on the website and I know what the images on a website are not typically an exact match of the actual product, however the difference in color is very noticeable.
On the website it's more of a brown with a hint of olive but in more is more of a green olive color. With that said the boots themselves seem to be really good quality and they are extremely comfortable, I just can't get over the color difference.

Love the look but sadly, the other reviews are true. The sandal digs into the front of my right ankle and on my right toe and cut into my skin. I ordered these for my NYC trip this past month where I was walking between 13,000-15,000 steps a day and had to wear bandaids on my ankle and big toe while wearing these sandals. I'm not sure why it only happens on my right foot? Another review said the same. I still wear these because I love the style but just not when I'll be walking too much.

These are adorable and I love this color palette. But the straps on the outer edges of the toes REALLY rubs hard and hurts so much that I can't even wear these on a short walk. I put moleskin over the scratchy stitching to see if that helped but... no help. I can't return due to trying to break them in, but these are sadly just another pair of shoes I have to chalk up to being too painful to wear. Also these straps are oddly shorter than all my other wonderful tevas. :(

These fit fine and I liked the way they looked but the textured inner sole was very irritating to my feet. I had to give them away.

I have always wanted a pair of tevas so when I got them I was excited. But once I received I wasn't in love with them. The sole is literally plastic. They felt very cheap.

Straps where attaced at buckles rubbed against toes. Very uncomfortable. Unlike Teva that I usually like so much.

I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica. Even thought I had them as tight as possible I kept tripping over the front of the sole. The sold is not the hiking one you may want. We went on some hikes and they were not suitable for it. I had to purchase something else. They are cute, though, just not for hiking.

I bought these four months ago. They are very comfortable and I wear them often but the soles are already falling off the shoe. I like these, but I'm disappointed that in less than 6 months the soles are literally falling off and making me trip. Would think twice about buying any other pairs.

The "earth-friendly recycled polyester webbing" gives this sandal's footbed a texture that feels more like an abrasive exfoliator than an insole. While otherwise a cute sandal that fit well, the uncomfortable footbed meant that I could not comfortably wear it without socks, so I am initiating a return.

I used to recommend Tevas to everyone, but I cannot recommend them anymore.
13 months in, I noticed the sole splitting apart, disrupting my walks. The straps began to fray long before that. This is all from walking in the city and going on two short (< 3 mile) hikes. They've never been submerged in water either.
This is my second pair of Tevas this has happened to. Call me crazy, but shoes should last longer than that.
I gave 2 stars because I adored them before they broke.

I've had 3 pairs of Teva Hurricane sandals and liked them very much. The soles of these sandals aren't comfortable to my feet. Far too pebbly on the inside(top). I'll continue to wear and replace the Hurricanes but won't repeat this model.

While the footbed is soft and Chisholm, the straps are hard plastic and have given me blisters, even wearing for short periods of time. Now I have layers of moleskin, which is helping a tiny bit. Ouch! Know this before you purchase!

Cheaply made, gave me blisters when wet, soles of sandals aren't very thick! Paid a lot of money for the namebrand that's for sure.

I had a pair of Tevas that lasted a long time and I was happy to pay more for them due to the quality. My Labrador Retriever chewed the buckle off my Tevas and I needed a new pair. I couldn't find a pair for the water, (rivers, creeks, you know, muddy) with buckles. I didn't want white or light colored. It didn't look like that had any with buckles anymore or at least not the same kind. The sole on the kind I got was so thin. They have thicker but they look like platform not for being sporty. The fabric also wasn't as thick and had a lot of thread coming out of the fabric.
