I've had these boots for a year now and they are still my favorite pair! My sister keeps dropping hints about how much she likes them, so I got her a pair for Christmas!

These boots are AMAZING! I have a wider foot and was initially worried about the mixed reviews regarding that- but they are wonderful and spacious. I am also the pickiest shoe shopper on earth and loved the style of these so you can imagine my elation when they arrived and were incredibly comfortable. I did order a 1/2 size up as I usually do with boots and was glad I did, they fit perfectly. I am *so* happy I splurged on a quality pair of boots. Overjoyed about these boots!

Awesome comfort. Right out of the box never had to break them in. I can fit my orthotics inside-excellent purchase. They are very Matte black no shine whatsoever.

These boots are wonderful. They can be dressed up or down, relatively inexpensive in the boot world, yet appear to be high quality. But most of all, they are comfortable! No hard leathers or tight toe boxes to squeeze and pinch my feet. My feet can tend toward the wider side and hurt easily. These boots do not aggravate any of my issues. Truly a miraculous find! And Zappos is amazing. I have tried so so many pairs of shoes from them to accommodate my aching feet, and their service is truly unmatched anywhere! Thank you!

I love these boots! They are super comfortable right out of the box - plenty of room for my bunions, orthotics, socks. Everyone compliments them when I wear them and I can walk all over the mall and still feel like I am in my slippers. They do show minor scuffs easily, but most rub right out with just my fingers, and it just accents the rugged look. I like the engineer styling, updated with the newer style belting.

I really love these boots. The leather seemed to wear and dull quickly, but that didn't bother me at all. If you're looking for a more polished look I wouldn't purchase these. I wear them with jeans, dress pants, skirts/dressed. I've always been hesitant that a boot this height would make my calves look wider...glad I gave them a shot!

I wore these boots for the first time to an NFL game, whilst walking through large puddles. My feet stayed perfectly dry! I found them to be very walkable with good support and not too tight. I bought them for a trip to Jerusalem in January, will do a follow up review.

Best, most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I live in NYC and walk a lot! These are the most comfortable, especially compared to all the boot styles out there most of which have an almond shaped toe box. I'm sorry but NO ONE's foot is shaped like almond. These have plenty of space for your toes, so they're not crammed together. These are my go-to boots when friends/family visit, and I know I'm going to be giving the grand tour and walking miles upon miles. I chose this style because I wanted rugged chic, and now they are about a year old and just as wonderful. There was no breaking in time on these either. The leather is so soft and easy to condition. BUY THEM! Trust me!

Comfy & Stylish. Loved these right out of the box. Haven't worn in wet weather yet, but look like they will stand up to anything. Amazingly fast shipping- bravo Zappos!

Love these boots! The fit is perfect and they were comfortable from the first wear no need to even break in! Plan to use them as a daily kick around boot and I think that they will be perfect for this!

Love these boots! They were comfortable enough straight out of the box to go for a several mile walk - no break-in time required! The have a wider toe-box area, making it comfy for those of us that don't have super narrow feet (ever notice that "medium-width" typically feels like a vice, but "wide-width" feel like clown shoes?). These look fantastic with both skinny and boot leg jeans. I haven't tried it yet, but am certain they will also pair great with casual skirts/leggings. So far they are waterproof, and I have seriously annoyed my boyfriend by the number of times I have exclaimed how much I love these boots!

These are the best pair of boots that I ever purchased. I live in NYC and work in retail. I walk all day. These boots have gotten me through the last two winters with dry, comfy feet as I walked miles through snow and slush. They fit perfectly right out of the box and didn't need to be broken in at all.

I have been looking for boots that are appropriate and safe for walking around active construction sites, but I did not want bulky work boots since I do not actually work in the field. I have been through two weeks of trial and error, ordering and returning, boot after boot (men's boots, too). I finally landed with these. I am usually a size 9, but they were far too narrow, so I returned for a 9½. They feel pretty good, but I am going to get them stretched, too. The color and feel are nice, zipper appreciated since I have limited flexibility in one of my ankles from old injury. Hard sole and firm toe coverage make these well suited for working boots.

Love these boots! They are really comfortable, cute-casual and waterproof. They will be my go-to boots this fall. I have an extremely high arch and usually need added support but these shoes feel pretty good so far. I'm not sure if I'll even have to put in the extra arch support that I usually do.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. I love them so much. I bought a pair in the brown, fell in love so bought a back-up pair when the first pair finally gave way. That has yet to happen, still wearing pair #1. Decided I wanted a black pair as well so boom, new black pair. They are cute and incredibly well made. These aren't boots that were designed to be cute first, functional second. It's a Teva built shoe that happens to be really cute. I wear them constantly and always get compliments. Highly, highly recommend. I have foot issues and they're incredibly comfortable and supportive.

I love these boots and only wore them one season when I began to hear a squishing noise in the left boot. I discovered the heel is hollow and has a hole in it. I've had a couple of pair of boots with this problem, so will be looking for boots with solid heels. The leather of the boot is in great shape and feel disappointed that they only lasted one winter.

These are hands down my favorite boots. I wear them for pretty much everything - riding, hiking, walking, going to school, etc. I absolutely love them. I would say the best feature of these boots is their flexible, yet sturdy sole. Another benefit is that they have zippers, which I find really nice because I dislike laces. One downside that I found with these boots however, is that they quickly wore in and lost a bit of their shape. Aesthetically, they do not look as good now as they did when I first got them about six months ago. On the upside, they fit to my feet very nicely and are super comfortable. I still get lots of compliments on these boots whenever I wear them anywhere, nonetheless.

Ok, I searched and searched for the perfect leather ankle boots that were kind of rugged but still chic and these are absolutely everything I wanted. They are THE MOST COMFORTABLE boots EVER! The toe box is not almond shaped nor do they cramp your toes. I live in NYC and walk miles upon miles and these shoes are perfect for the city and don't make my feet hurt AT ALL. I would recommend these to anyone. They are also ok in the rain too, they dry quickly and look good as new. I love the leather and the scuff look after wear. SO CHIC! I love love love these. Based on the reviews, I went ahead and got a half size up and I am glad I did! These are by far my fav boots and I am going to get them in black too.

I wore these boots straight out of the box for an 8 day tour of France on a rainy week in April. They were comfortable, warm, and the crepe sole gave great traction. The boots are waterproof as well. I wore them with jeans, tights and leggings. Love them!

Very comfortable boots. I've walked around all day in these in snow, rain and now spring slush, and they haven't given me any problems yet. I am a true 7.5, and they are a bit snug with very thick socks, but lighter-weight wool socks work fine. Great for casual wear over skinny jeans or under boot-cut trousers.

I bought these boots right before a trip to NYC and they were an absolute lifesaver! We walked 5+ miles each day and my feet never felt sore. The weather was abysmal with rain, sleet, and snow but my feet stayed dry for the most part. Even the salt washed easily off my shoes. I plan on making these my go-to boots for fall and winter, I can see myself ordering them again in the future!

Love them, love them, love them. I needed an in between boot for those days that didn't require a heavy snow boot but yet needed a waterproof boot with some traction. I commute into NYC so I leave a snowy environment and arrive at a slushy sidewalk scenario. I was doubtful of how waterproof they would be but when I stepped into an ankle deep slushy puddle at a crosswalk I was amazed to find my feet remained dry! Love the look and fit also. Great choice for me.

These are so versatile! They're mostly waterproof, and there's room to wear wool socks, making them great for winter. The color is perfect, sort of tan/cognac color seems to go with everything. The shaft height is very flattering, too. There was a bit of poking into one ankle, but that may have just been a break in period. Other than that, very comfortable from the beginning. These start to look worn in almost immediately, but I actually didn't mind that, it's kind of rustic and cool, since these aren't meant to be formal or dressy, but they do look nice, and I get lots of compliments.
